DOJ's top national security official RESIGNS in the wake of bombshell revelations the department secretly seized cell phone data from Democrats and reporters
[jpost] Foreign Minister and Alternate Prime Minister Yair Lapid is expected to take a strong leading role in Israel’s international relations, as opposed to in the past 12 years in which the prime minister did so.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett plans to focus on his domestic agenda — at least at first — a source close to the new premier said. Any diplomatic decision or statement Bennett makes will have to be coordinated in advance with Lapid, because of the delicate rotation government they formed on Sunday.
Former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu led Israel’s foreign policy throughout his time in office, often keeping key information from the foreign ministry. He also served as foreign minister at the same time as prime minister in 2012 and 2015-2019.
Lapid said in his transition ceremony with departing minister Gabi Ashkenazi on Monday the Foreign Ministry will be in charge of normalizing relations between Israel and Arab states, following last year’s Abraham Accords.
"Great things have happened this past year," Lapid said. "We need to continue the development that started with the Abraham Accords, to work to strengthen the peace with the Gulf States, with Egypt and with Jordan. We will work to sign agreements with more countries in the region and beyond.
"It’s a process, it won’t happen in a day, but the Foreign Ministry will coordinate those efforts," he stated.
Netanyahu did not inform Ashkenazi until moments before the announcement that Israel made peace with the United Arab Emirates last August, but after that, Ashkenazi met with his Emirati and Bahraini counterparts and the Foreign Ministry worked on cultivating the relations.
Lapid also emphasized that "Jordan is an important strategic ally. King Abdullah [II bin Al-Hussein] is an important regional leader and a strategic ally; we will work with him and strengthen the relationship between our countries."
The new foreign minister referred to "recent reports" about Jordan, which was likely a Washington Post article that claimed Netanyahu was involved in attempts to weaken King Abdullah, since he and former US president Donald Trump preferred to get closer with Saudi Arabia.
Lapid said that he and Bennett will work together to "do whatever it takes to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear bomb." With the US and Iran indirectly negotiating a return to the 2015 nuclear agreement, Lapid said Israel must "prepare quickly."
"It was a bad deal," he said. "I opposed it. I still oppose it. Israel could have, with a different approach, influenced it far more."
Referring to the recent fighting between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, Lapid said that "the world doesn’t always understand the conditions in which Israel operates. We’ll try to change that... Faced with the disgraceful propaganda against us we will need to make clear to the world that we are fighting a sick terror organization which has no problem firing rockets from kindergartens and schools.
Israel will respond forcefully to any rocket attack, Lapid warned.
"Hamas is the only one responsible for the death of innocent civilians. And still, it is not weakness to admit that our hearts break for every child who dies in conflict. Children don’t need to die in the wars of adults," he added.
The first foreign policy issue Lapid addressed in his remarks was restoring relations between Israel and the Democratic Party in the US, pointing out that Democrats are in the White House and control the Senate and House of Representatives.
"I’ve warned against it more than once, but the outgoing government took a terrible gamble, reckless and dangerous, to focus exclusively on the Republican Party and abandon Israel’s bipartisan standing. The Republicans are important to us, their friendship is important to us, but not only the friendship of the Republican party," he said.
Lapid noted that he spoke with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and they both think it is imperative to have US-Israel ties be based on mutual respect and improved dialogue.
The foreign minister also called to strengthen ties with Diaspora Jewry.
"The support of Christian evangelicals and other groups is important and heart-warming but the Jewish people are more than allies, they are family," he said. "Jews from all streams, Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox, are our family. And family is always the most important relationship, and the one that needs to be worked on more than any other."
When it comes to relations with Europe, Lapid — who once called Sweden’s foreign minister an antisemite at a rally in Stockholm — quipped: "Shouting that everyone is antisemitic isn’t a policy or a work plan, even if it sometimes feels right."
Lapid said he and French President Emmanuel Macron, with whom he has had a years-long friendship, exchanged text messages and that he spoke with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell and they agreed to deepen Israel-Europe ties.
The minister said Deputy Foreign Minister Idan Roll will lead the process of integrating the Ministry for Strategic Affairs back into the Foreign Ministry, which will manage the fight against BDS and the delegitimization of Israel.
Smiling warmly, Lapid told Foreign Ministry officials that he really wanted his new job and he made every effort to get it.
"I believe we will do great things together... I’m happy to be here with you. I’ve waited for this a long time," he said.

A regional FBI facility installed at least a dozen cell phone receivers along a freeway in a major city. When Trump and Barr came in the FBI quickly yanked them down. They have been unlawfully listening to everyone.

They have been unlawfully listening to everyone. If true, that is probably just the tip of the iceberg. The full extent of DOJ and FBI law-breaking is known only to the perpetrators.

Thing is, it's legal to listen in on cell phone calls. Been litigated many times. It's a radio you're using, anyone can listen.

The Dead BLOM (evil white female) persons name WAS Deona M. Knajdek. She was a local to Minneapolis. She would have celebrated her 32nd birthday on Wednesday with her family and 2 daughters ages 11 & 13.
But it seems her protesting activities were more important than being at home with her children at night.
because she was out protesting the lawful shooting of a 20 time arrested ARMED Convicted Felon still on probation for ARMED ROBBERY.
So she used her vehicle to break the law by blocking public streets. Likely to allow BLOM members to physically assault of innocent citizens trapped or hemmed in.
Quoting the Local Newspaper - Star Tribune "She was using her car as a street blockade, and another vehicle struck her vehicle and her vehicle struck her," according to her 29-year-old brother, who learned the details from police and his mother."

[AmericanGreatness] Wokeism has become our most popular secular religion—at least for a moment dethroning climate change. It reduces all of the past and present into puerile binaries between "whites" and "non-whites."
Its aim is for the present generation to rewrite our history—whether by The 1619 Project and cancel culture or iconoclastic statue-toppling and Trotskyization of names and places. Wokeism becomes a child’s morality tale of noble non-white victims versus villainous white victimizers. Erasing the past and its language supposedly fuels a recalibration of the future, all in the here and now, a holy Year Zero
In the process, wokeism has done a lot of damage to America, and will do even more if left unchecked. Here are its chief characteristics.
Elites vs. Elites
...Whether in the corporate boardroom or in Hollywood casting meetings or in the campus president’s office, race-based obsessions mostly reflect intramural wars between elites for the lucrative spoils of the one-percent’s news anchorships, roles in TV shows and commercials, diversity deanships, and admissions quotas to the Ivy League.
Performance Virtue Signaling
Second, given its elite origins and spread, it is no surprise that wokeism is a psychological mechanism that exempts the privileged by virtue signaling and performance grievance-mongering in lieu of meaningful real action.
...Kicking "racist" Donald Trump off social media apparently means Mark Zuckerberg does not feel too bad about building a monstrous 57,000-square foot mansion on a pristine Hawaiian island site. The social justice warrior and Facebook billionaire might as well have been a 15th -century Florentine Catholic sinner, ponying up 1,000 golden florins to gift a few blocks on the rising Duomo to ensure he could indulge himself on his $12,000 electric surfboard, and that his future stay in Purgatory would be short, and in Paradise long.
[AllAfrica] The president stated this on Friday in an interview with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that individuals who finance terrorism in various parts of the country do so to remain relevant.
The president stated this on Friday in an interview with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and monitored by PREMIUM TIMES.
Mr Buhari, while responding to a question about the alleged financiers of terrorism his administration recently apprehended, stated that most of them are wealthy individuals who are no longer relevant in government.
He said such people will be made to face the law.
"Their motive is that they are made irrelevant and they want to use their resources they accumulated over the years to prove that they are still around and the administration will deal with them. Anybody caught will be dealt with," the president said.
About 400 businessmen, including bureau de change operators, were recently arrested for allegedly funding Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... terrorists.
No one has been convicted in Nigeria for funding Boko Haram, the terror group that has caused tens of thousands of deaths in Northern Nigeria since 2009.
According to Daily Trust newspaper, the recently arrested businessmen were arrested in an operation being coordinated by the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), in collaboration with the State Security Service (SSS), Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The operation was said to have been approved by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2020.
The newspaper reported that an initial list of 957 suspects comprising bureau de change (BDC) operators, gold miners and sellers and other business persons was acted upon. The prosecution of the arrested persons was stalled because of the two months strike by judiciary workers which was called off two days ago, the attorney general had said.
[AnNahar] The Lebanese Army on Sunday said it intercepted a small boat carrying 11 people, mostly Syrians, attempting an illegal sea crossing out of the crisis-hit country.
A statement said a naval force spotted the boat off the northern port city of Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... and that its passengers were all detained and referred for investigation, the army added.
The boat was carrying "10 people of Syrian nationality and a Lebanese national," it said.
Their journey's end was not specified but neighboring Cyprus, a member of the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... , has been a popular sea smuggling destination in recent months.
In May, the Lebanese Army intercepted a boat near Tripoli carrying 60 people, including 59 Syrians.
Leb ...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers, a practice dating back to the heady human sacrifice days of Baal Moloch... , home to more than six million people, says it hosts more than a million Syrian refugees.
They have been hit hard by widening poverty rates and growing food insecurity brought on by the country's economic crisis.
In a report released this month, the World Bank warned that Lebanon's economic collapse is likely to rank among the world's worst financial crises since the mid-19th century.

Possible competitors to the likely frontrunner, Ebrahim Raisi, have all been prohibited from running in the June 18 election, which the international community has primarily labeled as a farce. Moreover, the seven other candidates are mostly unknown to the broader population and deemed not to pose any serious threat to Raisi, who is also the carefully curated favorite of Ayatollah Khamenei.

HOW MANY MIGRANTS COLONISTS LEAVE LIBYA TOWARDS EUROPE EACH YEAR?
Thousands of migrants colonists leave Libya each year on unseaworthy wooden boats and rubber dinghies towards Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... . Many of the asylum seekers die on the journey.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) says over 10,000 migrants colonists so far have been rescued and returned to Libya in 2021.
At least 180 migrants colonists traveling from Libya have died this year, according to the IOM, and hundreds are missing.
Many of the migrants colonists traveling from Libya are exploited by human smugglers, who facilitate the journeys in exchange for money. There are widespread reports torture and abuse of migrants colonists at the hands of smugglers.
MOSLEM COLONISTS MIGRANTS ALSO LEAVING FOR EUROPE VIA TUNISIA
The Tunisian navy and coastguard rescued 54 migrants colonists at sea on Friday, taking the migrants colonists to the port town of Ben Gardane before transferring them to a detention center.
A cemetery in southern Tunisia is dedicated to migrants colonists who died at sea.
Many of the migrants colonists who embark by sea from Libya and Tunisia actually hail from sub-Saharan Africa.
The migrants colonists may be fleeing war, terrorism, authoritarian governments or for other reasons, such as the search for better economic opportunities in Europe.

[WASHINGTONTIMES] Two Boston school officials have resigned over surfaced private text messages slamming White parents as "delusional" and "racist."
Boston School Committee Chairwoman Alexandra Oliver-Dávila and committee member Lorna Rivera submitted their resignations after facing backlash for text messages sent to one another during a committee meeting in October.
"Wait until the white racists start yelling at us," Ms. Rivera said to Ms. Oliver-Dávila at the time in a text message obtained through a Boston Globe public records request.
"Whatever. They’re delusional," Ms. Oliver-Dávila, who is of Argentinian and Nicaraguan descent, responded.
"I hate WR," added Ms. Oliver-Dávila, referring to West Roxbury, The Globe reported.
"Sick of Westie whites," Ms. Rivera, who is from Puerto Rico, replied.
"Me too. I really feel like saying that," Ms. Oliver-Dávila responded.
Mayor Kim Janey said the resignations leave "a void in Latina leadership on our school committee that I am determined to address," The News Agency that Dare Not be Named reported.
"Their private remarks, which were recently made public, were unfortunate and unfairly disparaged members of the Boston Public Schools community," she said.
Ms. Oliver-Dávila and Ms. Rivera issued statements saying they had experienced hardships in their positions.
"It was painful. And in the heat of the moment it caused me to vent by sending inappropriate personal text messages to one of my colleagues," Ms. Oliver-Dávila said. "I regrettably allowed myself to do what others have done to me. I failed my own standards."
Ms. Rivera said, "I am being targeted as a Latina gender studies professor who teaches about racism, patriarchy, and oppression." She doesn't comprehend that she's being "targeted" because she's a dipshit. She learned how to be that in college.
"Because of the harassment and overwhelming stress from School Committee-related work, my mental and physical health has tanked, so I need to resign and recuperate," she said. Ummm... yeah. Just doing your job for everybody would have been even more trying.
The controversial texts were sent during a virtual school board hearing as it was considering a proposal to temporarily drop the entrance test requirement to the city’s exam schools, AP reported.
The meeting also resulted in the resignation of then-committee chairman Michael Loconto, who was overheard mocking the Asian names of people wishing to speak at the hearing, The Globe reported. How far beyond parody can you go before you meet the other end of yourself?
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] The Kataib Hezbollah armed faction in Iraq warned the Iraqi government against repeating the arrest of prominent commanders of the pro-Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).
It also called on the government to arrest whom it described as "aggressors" in wake of the detention and eventual release of prominent PMF commander Qassim Muslih.
Muslih was arrested in late May over his suspected involvement in the killing of prominent anti-government activist Ihab al-Wazni. He was released last week after much political pressure and escalation by the PMF. Head of Iran’s Quds Force commander Esmail Qaani had also visited Baghdad last week to ease the tensions.
A front man for Kataib Hezbollah, known as Abou Ali al-Askari, tweeted that Muslih’s arrest in the first place was a "spiteful" move by the government.
He warned "the traitor" — a reference to Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi — against repeating such a move "otherwise we will not return to our positions before the aggressors are behind bars."
Muslih was released after a settlement was reached between the factions and government in return to an end to the escalation. Political sources said he was freed after massive political pressure was exerted.
Notably, Askari seemed to snub Iran, when he warned the government that "friends, neither east nor west," will come to its aid should it repeat the arrest.
Informed sources said that the Kataib Hezbollah and other factions are gunning for General Ahmed Abou Ragheef, the officer who ordered Muslih’s arrest.
The armed factions have been wary of Abou Ragheef ever since Kadhimi tasked him in August 2020 with handling the "extraordinary crimes" committee that is in charge of investigating corruption cases.
Abou Ragheef had served as interior minister in 2008. He was relieved of his post by then PM Nouri al-Maliki after mounting suspicions that he was planning a military coup against the government. He was appointed as director of intelligence affairs in former PM Haidar al-Abadi’s government. Kadhimi then promoted him to become one of his most senior officers.
Months ago, Abou Ragheef launched a wave of arrests against corrupt politicians and government figures. Despite coming under fierce criticism from his opponents, Kadhimi continued to place his trust in Abou Ragheef.
The officer’s efforts have so far uncovered a vast network of suspicious alliances between Iraqi leaders, armed factions and organized crimes gangs.
The situation eventually came to a head with Muslih’s arrest.
Some armed factions want to eliminate Abou Ragheef "permanently" because of their growing conviction that he will not stop until he reaches the top Shiite positions of power.
A "significant" source from the PMF revealed that a new order of arrests will be made soon.
A PMF commander in Najaf city told Asharq al-Awsat that factions such as Kataib Hezbollah and Asaib Ahl al-Haq want to exploit the Muslih crisis to punish Abou Ragheef.
"These factions are not exactly pleased with the Iranian maneuvers and settlements in the Iraqi file. They want to make actual moves against Kadhimi," he revealed, adding however, that such a position is not shared by all Shiite groups.
[Red State] Joe Biden and his overly-ambitious wife have been in the United Kingdom the last week, pretending to be royalty and generally projecting how much the United States is now taking a backseat on the world stage. That’s led to several awkward moments, including President Biden seemingly getting confused and having to be ushered away by Jill Biden. Then there was just the general embarrassment of a bunch of out-of-touch, vaccinated world leaders, elbow bumping each other because they are afraid to shake hands.
Things are not fine, and the supposed leaders of the "free world" are projecting weakness at a level that is emboldening bad actors around the world.
Even still, none of that added up to the sheer train wreck that was Joe Biden’s G7 presser today. We are in trouble as a nation. Examples follow:

This is in fact one of the most aggressive administrations in recent memory, with massive efforts underway to alter major policy both domestically and overseas. Its just that many thing the face of Bidet and the cackling jackal is the actual administration. No, that is the puppet show/facade, the administration is over in Kalorama and its minions infesting the West Wing, State, DoJ, DoD, DHS, CIA, FBI and the damn Post Office apparently. They are aggressive and skilled, and are salting the civil service and military with deep levels of fellow believers. The efforts by Dr Jill to steal back some of the power are puny, clearly meant to enliven the theater and keep the power, ego, and graft flowing into the Biden coffers. Cackles has revealed a fatal flaw of character, witness the CNN attack show, that will help Kalorama choose to keep Bidet floating for a bit longer than planned, but he is in charge of little more than Air Force One and the travel to the basement in Delaware on weekends. Obama 3.0 and the fundamental transformation of the nation is well and truly underway, our own cultural revolution. oices in the wilderness are growing more angry and strident, and as the election fraud evidence unfolds. expect anger outbreaks and insurrection suppression emergencies...Casandra has new meaning it seems...
[SHAFAQ] A security source reported today that a logistics convoy of the Global Coalition had been targeted south of Iraq.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, "An bombwent kaboom! this evening, targeting a logistics convoy of the Global Coalition while crossing the Nasiriyah highway."
According to the source, three members of the team in charge of protecting the convoy, two Iraqis and a foreign man were maimed in the attack.
Recently, attacks targeting US forces and the Global Coalition forces are carried out almost daily in Iraq.
No party has grabbed credit for the earth-shattering kabooms, but Washington accuses pro-Iranian factions of being behind the attacks.
[NYPOST] The party promoter behind the raucous raves in Washington Square Park shrugged off resident complaints about the landmark’s descent into lawlessness, defiantly telling The Post this week that if "Karens and Kevins" don’t like it — they should move.
"This is my response to the residents," said David "Shaman" Ortiz, 28. "If you have an issue with amplified sound and you live in the downtown area, you live in the Washington Square Park area, then you should move.
"I’m not letting anybody steal our joy," declared Ortiz, who has a hand in coordinating the unlicensed boxing matches. that have also plagued the park, which has become ground zero for the city’s descent into crime and chaos under Mayor de Blasio, as The Post chronicled last month.
Loud music, brazen drug use, fireworks, motorized vehicles and the unlicensed sale of alcohol proliferate nightly as regulations have gone unenforced during the pandemic, forcing the city to recently enact a nighttime weekend curfew.
"Now there are zero rules. Even with the public drug use, there are zero rules. It’s all out in the open. It’s chaos," said longtime resident Adam Weprin.
But Ortiz, a Queens resident, dismissed those who complain as "Karens and Kevins" — a racially charged dig, typically referring to self-righteous white people.
And he referred to the NYPD as "the biggest gang in New York" in one recent Instagram story and claimed to be the person who got NYPD Chief Terence Monahan to kneel in the park last summer in support of Black Lives Matter.
Neighbors already outraged by conditions at the park vow to stand their ground, for now.
"We’re not going anywhere," said William Abramson, the director of brokerage for Buchbinder & Warren Realty Group, the landlord for hundreds of residential and retail properties near the park.
Many of those neighbors, he said, have awoken over the past year to find human waste in their doorways or addicts passed out on their stoops as problems in the park spill over onto neighboring streets.
Abramson’s firm hired a private security six months ago to patrol their properties around the Park — an effort he says is a response to the failure of local leaders to address complaints or enforce long-standing regulations.
One neighbor who lives on Fifth Avenue overlooking the park and its triumphal marble arch said "a bully boy group started taunting police" as soon as they got there to enforce the curfew Friday night. "It was a staged confrontation by the agitators, it was not some random event."

[BenarNews] A nephew of the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... leader in the Philippines and an Abu Sayyaf ...also known as al-Harakat al-Islamiyya, an Islamist terror group based in Jolo, Basilan and Zamboanga. Since its inception in the early 1990s, the group has carried out bombings, kidnappings, murders, head choppings, and extortion in their uniquely Islamic attempt to set up an independent Moslem province in the Philippines. Abu Sayyaf forces probably number less than 300 cadres. The group is closely allied with remnants of Indonesia's Jemaah Islamiya and has loose ties with MILF and MNLF who sometimes provide cannon fodder... commander accused of beheadings were among four holy warriors killed by security forces in a dawn raid Sunday in the southern island of Sulu, the military said.

Tell me how we lost the 2020 POTUS election, again? I estimate that elections for school board members, etc. are far harder to fix due to the vast number of them in the US every year. Perhaps even beyond the means of George Soros, who is able to fix local prosecutor elections so elegantly.

[KhaamaPress] According to the reports, Talibs have killed an Islamic holy man in Pul-e-Alam city of Pashtun-infested Logar province on Friday afternoon as he was attending a funeral ceremony. "We got a bargain here! A Two-fer!"
Mawlawi Samiullah Rashid, a known religious scholar in Pashtun-infested Logar province was first kidnapped by armed button men, then have been brutally shot to death, Hassibullah Stanikzai, the head of provincial council in Pashtun-infested Logar said.
"Mawlawi Samiullah Rashid had gone to Baboos area to attend a funeral ceremony, he was first kidnapped by Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... men and was taken to Sayed Mahmood Ghazi, an area in the central part of Pashtun-infested Logar where he was then brutally shot to death", Stanikzai said.

Eric Ross Weinstein (born October 26, 1965)[2] is an American cultural commentator. He is the managing director of Thiel Capital.[1][3]
Weinstein received his PhD in mathematical physics from Harvard University in 1992 under the supervision of Raoul Bott.[4][5][6] In his dissertation, Extension of Self-Dual Yang-Mills Equations Across the Eighth Dimension, Weinstein showed that the self-dual Yang–Mills equations were not really peculiar to dimension four and admitted generalizations to higher dimensions.[7]
Weinstein left academia after stints at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. More than 20 years later, in 2013, he announced a potential unified theory of physics. At the invitation of mathematician Marcus du Sautoy, Weinstein described the theory at a colloquium, Geometric Unity, in May 2013 at the University of Oxford's Clarendon Laboratory.[8] Physicists expressed skepticism about the theory.[8][9] Joseph Conlon of Oxford stated that some of the predicted particles would already have been detected in existing accelerators such as the Large Hadron Collider.[8] Science writer Jennifer Ouellette criticized the colloquium in a blog for Scientific American, arguing that experts could not properly evaluate Weinstein's ideas because there was no published paper.[10]
Eight years passed until Weinstein released a draft paper of Geometric Unity on April 1, 2021. The paper qualifies that the author "is not a physicist" but an "entertainer", and it has received strong criticism from the scientific community, including having "no visible impact" and having "gaps both mathematical and physical in origin that jeopardize Geometric Unity as a well-defined theory, much less one that is a candidate for a theory of everything."[11]
Incidentally, his younger brother is the Progressive evolutionary biologist who was driven out of Evergreen State College in 2017 for objecting to white students and faculty being requested to participate in off-campus anti-racism training during the annual Day of Absence protest, instead of continuing the tradition of carrying on as usual while minority members took the day off to highlight their contributions.

Here it is: link. Which has the following comment:
Bret (Eric's brother, biology PhD) had a 2h long conversation with Pierre Kory (MD) and it was taken down by YT. One of the things they talked was the recommendations of WHO and other organisations to focus on supportive care only (supporting the patient while their organism fights the disease by itself). They insist on not using other treatments outside clinical trials. The argument that running experiments would cost lives doesn't seem coherent. It's not like we have this 100+ yrs practice of dealing with SARS-CoV-2 epidemic with well established protocols. What if we're clinging to a suboptimal strategy?
Which I guess answers the question of who the Biologist was.

[Red state] One week ago we reported that a man believed to be the highest-ranking Chinese defector ever was working with the Defense Intelligence Agency and that he had direct knowledge of special weapons programs in China, including bioweapons programs. We also reported that the defector provided an extensive, technically detailed debrief to US officials, that the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) was able to corroborate very technical details of the information provided, and that in DIA’s assessment, the information provided by the defector is legitimate.
RedState has now learned some details of the information provided by the defector, including that he provided data proving that SARS-CoV-2 was manmade and leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, in addition to evidence confirming that the People’s Liberation Army managed the Wuhan program (and others), as Chinese virologist Yan Li-Meng told the FBI last year.
Technical details provided by the defector, RedState is told, were given to scientists (who were not told how that information was given to the government) who then re-analyzed data from published sources in conjunction with the new data and concluded that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was engineered. And, the defector was able to confirm numerous non-public details Yan provided the US government.
Pause for a moment and consider this. Our government now has additional evidence that a virus that killed 600,000 Americans, sickened millions more, nearly destroyed our economy, and inflicted untold collateral damage, was a bioweapon created by the Chinese military and deliberately released.
I say "additional" evidence because the FBI has had some of this evidence for more than a year and the person who brought it forward has only been subjected to a thorough smear campaign for her efforts — which is highly relevant when attempting to understand the newest defector’s actions.

Where the CCP is concerned, I doubt nothing until they proven innocent.
How many odd new viruses have come from the Eur-Asia breeding ground?
How many just happened around critical US National Election times? eg. C-19/21 happened just as we were getting underway for real part of the 2020 Elections. Where President Trump who was playing hard ball with the CCP and making them toe a line for the 1st time since Nixon.
So I can see a scenario where the CCP would want to disrupt the World Economy, skew US Elections results, all while trimming a few million of its Elderly population in the process.

Agreed, G(r)om. Did they create it - about 95% sure. If they did an intentional release, why would they pick a place in China, next to the lab they developed it in? It would have been much more effective to have the original cases appear at Fort Riley.
#4
American labs don't work with that virus. It would be immediately obvious it was a biological attack. Wuhan is the only known lab to work with very similar viruses.
#5
Ulu__ I suggested Fort Riley because it was supposedly the center of the initial outbreak of the 1918 Flu epidemic. It was never a research center. You may be thinking of Fort Detrick.
#6
China created it, the release in Wuhan was accidental (maybe while preparing to release it elsewhere) and everything else is just 'danger opportunity'

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Iraqi President Barham Salih called on Saturday for establishing a capable state that can protect its citizens.
In a tweet on the anniversary of the Camp Speicher massacre, he said: "We must serve justice to the deaders and complete the victory against terrorism by consolidating a capable state that can protect its citizens and ensure that such tragedies are not repeated."
The Camp Speicher massacre took place on June 12, 2014, when ISIS Death Eaters killed at least 1,700 people in an attack on the camp in Tikrit ...birthplace of Saddam Hussein... Salih added that the 2019 law of Speicher Martyrs' Rights was the least the state could offer to the victims, vowing that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
The law states that the victims of the Speicher crime are considered deaders, whether their remains have been found or not.
Iraqi deputy Aras Habib Kareem told Asharq al-Awsat that the authorities must provide justice in the case given the scale of the massacre and that trauma it has had on the Iraqi people.
The massacre will remain a shameful mark against everyone who was complicit with terrorism and who helped perpetrate the crime, he added, demanding the death penalty for those involved.

[IsraelTimes] Police evacuated residents from several homes in the Jerusalem suburb of Mevaseret Zion on Sunday after a fire broke out in the area. An old age home in the nearby town of Motza was also evacuated as the flames spread Sunday afternoon.
The homes that were evacuated were those closest to the fire.
Numerous firefighting crews were working to gain control of the blaze, with six tanker planes assisting in the effort. The Israel Fire and Rescue Services suggested that the fire could have been started intentionally, according to Haaretz. Firefighters indicated that the hot, dry weather on Sunday and the low winds were aiding the flames to spread quickly.
Due to the fire, police closed the eastbound lane on part of the main highway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
Last week, several large wildfires erupted on the outskirts of Jerusalem and the West Bank, leading to the temporary evacuation of some residents and numerous road closures. Reports at the time said authorities suspected the fires may have been deliberate acts of arson.
[NYPOST] Mayoral hopeful Eric Adams on Sunday decried the "open disorder in our parks" after The Post reported on the recent violence and vandalism at Washington Square Park — but he proposed a less "heavy-handed" solution than cops in riot gear.
"Parks in our city are family places. They should not be about drugs and disorder, they should be about our sons and daughters," the Democratic frontrunner told The Post after a campaign stop at a church in Queens.
"We can’t have open disorder in our parks," said Adams, a former NYPD cop. "That is not acceptable.
"But we could do it without being heavy-handed in the process," he added.
Adams said the city needs to employ a "real, comprehensive approach" to stop the violence, raucous partying and open drug use — in lieu of the recent strategy of NYPD officers forcefully clearing the park while decked out in riot gear to enforce a since-lifted 10 p.m. curfew.
[NYPOST] At least two men were killed and 19 people maimed in shootings in the Big Apple this weekend, as gun violence continues to skyrocket with no end in sight, police said.
The weekend’s first fatal shooting came shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday in the South Bronx, where police responding to the scene found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the back lying on the ground.
The man was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He's dead, Jim! Hours later, another man was rubbed out in the borough after bullets rang out outside a church in Morrisania.
The 41-year-old man, identified by sources as Vaughn Flanders, was bumped off in broad daylight Saturday outside St. Anthony of Padua Church at East 166th Street and Prospect Ave., cops said.

Given its a city of 18 million, the 2/19 record is normal for any Left Leaning city where Citizens are disarmed, but criminals are not by Gun Control Laws.
BTW:
FBI (2019) *
Data Avg. Murders per day 3.4 per 100,000 / 365 days
18M /100k x 3.4 /365 =1.676 per day x 2 = 3.2+ murders per weekend average .
* Hey DOJ/FBI 6+ months and still waiting on 2020 crime data
Interesting to data note: There are less 12k Police Officers on the NYC streets at any time (3 shifts and weekends = 36K police force total). So with a criminal element number of say 1% (180K)and only 8,200 serious arrests made in 2020.
Using a National average of 1 arrest per every 8 serious crimes committed.
"F--- all this white noise! Break the silence

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Before signing a final deal on the Israeli government, which is set to be sworn in Sunday, leader of the Kahol Lavan party, Benny Gantz, and New Hope head Gideon Sa'ar agreed on the formation of a new body to oversee Paleostinian constructions in the West Bank’s Area C, Ynet news reported.
It said the agreement was part of the deal when New Hope party joined the new government.
The construction by Paleostinians in the West Bank’s Area C constitutes some 60 percent of the territory and is under full Israeli security and civil control.
The news website said that the agreement came after the two parties had disagreed on the issue, particularly when New Hope MK Ze’ev Elkin demanded that the body to oversee Paleostinian constructions in Area C be formed under the Ministry of Construction and Housing.
Elkin is nominated as housing minister in the proposed government.
However, today is that tomorrow you were thinking about yesterday... Gantz had objected to this demand, saying the matter is traditionally under his ministry’s Civil Administration.
Elkin is known for his hardline positions against Paleostinians. He believes Israel should extend illusory sovereignty throughout the West Bank.
Israel occasionally demolishes Paleostinian structures in Area C. It claims that such constructions lack the necessary permits. The Israeli demolitions frequently draw international condemnation.
The Oslo II Accord signed between the Paleostinians and Israel divided the West Bank into three administrative divisions: Areas A, B, and C.
On Saturday, the PLO’s National Bureau for Defending Land said that the parties forming the new coalition government agreed on the need to "strengthen settlement in Jerusalem and turn it into a dynamic and modern capital [of Israel], as well as to tighten control over Area C of the West Bank."

[NYPOST] A 9-year-old Houston boy is at death's door after he was mistakenly shot in the chest by his father who had pulled out his gun during a road-rage incident, authorities said.
The boy was in a car being driven by his dad around 11 p.m. Friday in the Fifth Ward when the man believed he was being followed by another vehicle and brandished the weapon, ABC News reported. Meth paranoia? Happy Father's Day!
Once they arrived home, the father tried to put his gun back into its holster, but it accidentally went off and struck the child in the chest, authorities said.
The child was rushed by his father to the hospital, where he was at death's door but expected to survive, police said.
No charges are expected to be filed against the father, who is cooperating with the investigation, the outlet reported.

[KhaamaPress] Local officials said that Aliabad district in Kunduz province had fallen to the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... on Saturday night.
Haji Mohammad Omar Khan, a parliamentarian from Kunduz province, confirmed to Khaama Press that the Taliban carried offensive attacks in the center of Aliabad district of Kunduz Province on Saturday.
He also added that the Taliban captured the center of Aliabad district and a military base after hours of fighting with government forces.
Omar Khan stated that security forces abandoned their bases days before and yet it is not clear whether the withdrawal was a tactical retreat or defeat.
So far, the Security forces have not yet commented on the matter.
Aliabad was the third district to fall to the Taliban since Friday night, two districts in Ghor and Balkh provinces were seized by the Taliban late on Friday.
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Shelling of the opposition-held city of Afrin in northern Syria killed at least 18 people on Saturday, many of them when a hospital was hit, a war monitor said.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said a doctor, three hospital staff, two women and two children died at Al-Shifaa hospital in the city which is held by Turkish-backed opposition.
An opposition commander also died at the hospital, the Observatory said, adding that 23 people were injured.
An AFP correspondent shot footage of white-helmeted aid workers in the hospital courtyard strewn with bodies.
"The shelling targeted several areas of the town and hit the hospital", Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahmane told AFP.
"Most of the victims died in shelling on the hospital," the monitoring group said in a statement, warning the casualty toll could rise further with some of the wounded in a critical condition.
The artillery fire originated from northern Aleppo province "where militia faithful to Iran and the (Syrian) regime are deployed, near the zones run by Kurdish forces", the Britain-based group said.
The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) issued a statement denying any involvement in the shelling.
The region, like all areas held by pro-Turkish opposition fighters, regularly witnesses targeted killings, bombings and shootings.
Syrian regime shelling on the opposition-held Idlib enclave killed 12 people Thursday, one of the deadliest violations of a 15-month-old ceasefire, the war monitor said.

[EN.ALGHADEERTV.NET] America watched as hordes of rioters broke into the U.S. Capitol on January 6 — crushing through windows, pressing up stairways, and sending politicians and law enforcement running for their lives. The flood of protesters who streamed into the Capitol that day left federal authorities with an equally immense task: finding and charging those responsible.
The Department of Justice said that as of Friday, approximately 465 defendants had been arrested in connection with the attack. The government also indicated in a Friday court filing they expect to charge at least 550 people total.
Prosecutors have called the case "unprecedented" in scale, and the government said in a March court filing that the Capitol attack "is likely the most complex investigation ever prosecuted by the Department of Justice."

They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... jihadists had been removed from a mass grave in a bid to identify them.
The Badush prison massacre was one of the worst crimes IS carried out after it seized control of a third of Iraq in a lightning offensive in 2014.
In June that year, IS fighters attacked the northwestern prison, freeing Sunni Moslem inmates and forcing 583 mainly Shiite prisoners into a truck, before driving them to a ravine and shooting them.
In recent weeks, dozens of family members of the victims have given blood samples, which will be compared to the DNA of the remains, which were found in the mass graves in 2017.
"Thousands of families are waiting to know what happened to their relatives," Najm al-Jubburi, governor of the Nineveh province where the prison is located, told AFP.
The mass grave, discovered after Iraqi forces took control of the area in March 2017, is one of more than 200 the murderous Moslem group left behind in its rampage of brutality, according to the United Nations ...where theory meets practice and practice loses... The remains of up to 12,000 people are believed to be buried in these graves, the UN says, which has accused IS of having committed genocide in Iraq.
One of those waiting for closure in Iraq is Abbas Mohammed, whose son was tossed in the calaboose Yez got nuttin' on me, coppers! Nuttin'! at Badush following his arrest by US forces in 2005.
"After 17 years of not knowing whether my son is alive or dead, I need an answer," he told AFP.
Iraq has been struggling to identify remains of people from several violent mostly peaceful episodes in its recent history, and is still discovering mass graves from the regime of executed dictator Saddam Hussein.
The task has been challenging, as remains have often been burned or exposed to the elements over the years.
"Work conditions are difficult," Saleh Ahmed, a member of government commission tasked with identifying the "deaders," said at the site of the Badush mass grave.
"The heat is overwhelming. Some remains are entangled, and there are snakes and scorpions everywhere," he said, as 30 workers carried out the grim task of removing bodies from the grave.

Rasoul added, "between June 5 and 11, a group of wanted persons was arrested, including persons wanted for Terrorism charges.

Elsewhere, the "Agency for Intelligence and Federal investigations" announced the apprehension of an ISIS operative in the Saladin Governorate.
The arrestee served in the Sharia enforcement groups, the mosques diwan in Hawija, and "the phantom regiments" of the terrorist organization.
The terrorist, who is wanted by the Judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4/Terrorism, confessed to participating in several operations against citizens who refused to pledge allegiance for ISIS.
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] A fleet of 60 drones has been deployed in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou to keep people indoors and remind those going out to wear masks.
China has largely stamped out cases of local COVID-19 transmission, but Guangzhou has seen a flare-up of the more infectious delta variant of the virus, initially discovered in India.
China reported 34 new COVID-19 cases on June 12, down from 35 cases a day earlier, the country's national health authority said on Sunday.
Of the new cases, six were local transmissions, versus eight the previous day, the National Health Commission said. All of the local cases were in southern Guangdong province.
The six new cases reported in Guangzhou brought the number in the city’s outbreak to more than 100.
The police-operated drones carry cameras and broadcast messages to people venturing outdoors that they and others are best protected by staying inside.
The flying unmanned vehicles add to an already dense layer of monitoring including cellphone health confirmations, temperature checks and quarantines for those living in or travelling to areas where the risk of infection is considered high.
Gungzhou has isolated several neighborhoods, restricted travel out of the city and the surrounding province and shuttered cinemas and other indoor entertainment venues.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in mainland China now stands at 91,428, while the corpse count remains unchanged at 4,636.

[NYPOST] Maya Wiley again proved what a disaster she’d be as mayor last week, by refusing to commit to not disarming cops.
At the debate, WCBS’s Marcia Kramer pushed Mayor Comrade Bill de Blasio ...cryptocommie mayor of New York and for some reason a Dem candidate for president in 2020. Corrupt and incompetent, his qualifications for office seem to consist of being married to a black woman, with whom he honeymooned in Cuba. He has a preppy-looking son named Dante, whose Divine Comedy involved getting his back hair up when a police car drove past him slowly. New Yorkers voted for him, so they deserve him... ’s former legal adviser on what she thought of state Attorney General Letitia James’ suggestion to mandate that law-enforcers use force only as a last resort. Wiley dodged: "Safety is job one, and I’m going to keep New Yorkers safe when I’m mayor."
So Kramer asked if she’d take guns away from the NYPD, and Wiley dropped her bomb: "I am not prepared to make that decision in a debate."
Huh? What decision is there to make? It’d be absurd to disarm the city’s cops at any time, let alone one when the bad guys are firing their weapons at an ever-higher rate. Yet Wiley’s refusal to commit is an announcement that she finds the idea attractive.
Not that it’s a real surprise: Wiley is a police-hater who demonized NYPD officers in a campaign ad in which she claimed cops don’t think she and other black New Yorkers "deserve to breathe."
In reality, the NYPD’s work has saved tens of thousands of black lives in recent decades, by bringing the murder rate to historic lows — though it’s now starting to inch back up because Wiley and her fans imagine that police violence is now the greater threat. Literally: She’s vowed to slash the NYPD’s budget because "trauma" from dealing with cops is a bigger problem than crime.
In reality, most minority New Yorkers want more cops in their neighborhoods, though of course they want the police to do their jobs as politely as possible. Then too, the force itself is now majority-minority.
All of which is why Eric Adams wisely made fighting crime the signature issue of his campaign and why he leads in the polls. But a large and fractured field plus the advent of ranked-choice voting could let a loon like Wiley sneak into the Democratic nomination and likely victory in the fall — unless all sane New Yorkers make sure to leave her entirely off their ballots and choose only pro-public-safety candidates.
[NYPOST] Mayoral hopeful Maya Wiley has been endorsed by Rep. Alexandria Boom Boom Ocasio-Cortez Dem Congressgirl from da Bronx in Noo Yawk and leader of the Mean Girl Caucus in Congress. One of the Great Minds of the 21st Century, she is known as much for her innaleck as for her dance moves. She is all in favor of socialism, even though she's fuzzy on the details. She was the inventor of the Green New Deal, though she doesn't talk about it much anymore... , Public Advocate Jumaane Williams and other fellow Democrats who regularly decry the power of special interests and big money in politics — even though she has for decades been bankrolled by hedge-fund billionaire George Soros ...either Ernst Stavro Blofeld or Auric Goldfinger come true... Soros, the 90-year-old liberal kingmaker often criticized by Republicans and others for his outsize political influence, has ties to Wiley dating back to the 1990s, and recently pumped $500,000 into an independent expenditure group backing Wiley’s City Hall campaign, on top of direct donations.
"If we don’t come together as a movement, we will get a New York City built by and for billionaires, and we need a city for and by working people," said Ocasio-Cortez, a self-described democratic socialist representing parts of Queens and the Bronx, in endorsing Wiley earlier this month. "So we will vote for Maya #1."
Wiley, a former MSNBC contributor and legal counsel to Mayor Comrade Bill de Blasio, tweeted the quote last week in soliciting campaign donations — to further stock a war chest already directly and indirectly aided by Soros.
A front man for Soros confirmed to The Post that the deep-pocketed investor has contributed $500,000 to the independent expenditure group 1199 for Maya, a joint venture with 1199SEIU, an influential healthcare workers union that has endorsed Wiley.
Last week, the union announced a $1.2 million ad-buy backing Wiley, paid for by "1199 for Maya."
As of Sunday afternoon, the lofty sums were not yet reflected on the web site of the New York City Campaign Finance Board, an independent agency dedicated to helping New Yorkers track the flow of money in local politics.
[The Last Refuge] My headline is what happened, the New York Times headline is massive spin: "Apple Is Said to Have Turned Over Data on Trump’s White House Counsel in 2018".
Notice what the New York Times is doing here. Everything about their article is written to hide, obfuscate and ignore the reality of what their article actually is revealing. Look closely:
"tactics by the Trump Justice Department"? This is far beyond spin, it is an intentional effort at cognitive dissonance. Perhaps this article is written now because the Durham investigation is going to reveal how Mueller and Weissmann conducted investigative surveillance over the Trump White House... Likely, but rather than supposition let’s just go to the reality of the details.
The headline positions Apple as the center, but the real nub of the revelation is that Weissmann and Mueller used the Special Counsel and FBI to conduct surveillance on the White House legal counsel, and his family, while President Donald Trump was in office. Think about that for a moment. Think about it carefully.
Imagine if Donald Trump allies in the DOJ and FBI were conducting surveillance on Joe Biden’s White House legal counsel? The media would go absolutely bonkers... rightfully so; yet, that is exactly what happened when Trump was in office. The intelligence apparatus was weaponized to conduct political surveillance of President Trump, through the White House legal counsel, while he was in office.
THIS IS A MASSIVE issue. Yet the media are downplaying what took place because, well, the stunning abuse of DOJ power is in alignment with their political objectives.
From the article (emphasis mine):
WASHINGTON — Apple told Donald F. McGahn II, the White House counsel to former President Donald J. Trump, last month that the Justice Department had subpoenaed information about an account that belonged to him in February 2018, and that the government barred the company from telling him at the time, according to two people briefed on the matter.
Mr. McGahn’s wife received a similar notice from Apple, said one of the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter.
It is not clear what F.B.I. agents were scrutinizing, nor whether Mr. McGahn was their specific focus. In investigations, agents sometimes compile a large list of phone numbers and email addresses that were in contact with a subject, and seek to identify all those people by using subpoenas to communications companies for any account information like names, computer addresses and credit card numbers associated with them.
Still, the disclosure that agents secretly collected data of a sitting White House counsel is striking as it comes amid a political backlash to revelations about Trump-era seizures of data of reporters and Democrats in Congress for leak investigations. The president’s top lawyer is also a chief point of contact between the White House and the Justice Department.
Notice what the NYT is doing here? They are attempting to blame Trump for a subpoena against his own White House counsel. Crazy level of spin to cloud the real story of what was going on.
What the special counsel was doing in February 2018 was: (1) covering the tracks of the Obama-era political surveillance; (2) trying to retain their own investigative credibility by hiding prior abuses by the DOJ and FBI during that surveillance; (3) continue surveillance of the Trump administration under the auspices of a "Trump-Russia Collusion/Conspiracy" investigation; and (3) build a fraudulent obstruction case against President Trump in order to remove him from office.

I doubt that Mueller was fully aware of what went on in this witch hunt. The other guy (lefty hitman)should have been disbarred long ago for his shenigans.
[ToloNews] Elders--or others--who act as mediators to negotiate between government forces and the Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... -- causing security force members to abandon their posts--have been arrested, the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI) said on Sunday. The ministry reiterated that cooperation with "terrorists" is unacceptable.
Many districts have recently fallen to the Taliban or have been evacuated after being under siege. Sources confirmed the fall of at least 20 distrits' centers to the Taliban in the last two months.
Over the last 24 hours, security forces evacuated Saghar district in Ghor, Arghandab district in Zabul and Posht Rod and Lash districts in Farah, bringing the total to 23.
Security agencies said that government forces have either shifted the centers of the districts or they have made tactical retreats. The Taliban has claimed to have captured these districts.
"There were festivities in Posht Rod district last night during which the police headquarters fell to bad boys," said Dadullah Qane, head of the Farah provincial council.
"We lost our security forces and youth, and the maimed are at death's door," said Anisa Ghayur, a member of Ghor's provincial council.
The Taliban claimed on Sunday to have captured the center of Arghandab district in Zabul and two markets in Ali Abad district in Kunduz.
However, if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning... security forces said the Khashrod district in Nimroz was retaken hours after it fell to the Taliban.
"Security outposts were attacked by the enemy in Khan Abad and Ali Abad districts. So far, the security and defense forces have responded strongly," said Inamuddin Rahmani, front man for the Kunduz police.
The Ministry of Interior Affairs said that security forces have been directed to arrest those who attempt to mediate between government forces and the Taliban to hand over security forces outposts.
"The reason that soldiers leave their outposts is that they are faced with the lack of facilities, equipment and personnel," said Shogufa Nawrozi, an MP from Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... Clashes have been reported in at least 20 provinces over 70 districts, according to sources and officials.
Footage obtained by TOLOnews shows some soldiers in Lash wa Joyan district in Farah province, apparently pleading for help.
The Ministry of Defense responded by pledging that the security forces will receive support when they need it.
"The enemy has suffered its highest casualties in Nimroz, Badghis and Helmand provinces," Defense Ministry front man Rohullah Ahmadzai said.
Local security officials in Ghazni and Takhar on Sunday said security forces had progressed in the two provinces and that the Taliban suffered "heavy casualties" during their operations.

[KhaamaPress] As I am writing this Op-Ed as a 28-year-old Afghan man, I am focused on the real issues affecting political reality both in Afghanistan and elsewhere as the time for military pull-out nears. I am based in Canada while writing this article and have personally talked with political and tribal leaders to hear their concerns. I share some of their views in this op-ed article.
Once the Afghan people were living in fear, but now, more and more young people in Afghanistan around my age and even younger are using technology since the invention of Facebook and Google came about. They don’t want to return to the dark days. These youths are quick learners as well than most Western thinks about their culture and society values. Yes, even under the democratic government, some women are still beaten, and girls are still married at a young age.
To keep up with the current situation in Afghanistan, these young people use technology on daily basis. They like to watch the news, talk with friends and family, and now study online too as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. The good thing is that technology and telecom businesses are booming in major parts of the country such as Kabul, Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... , Kandahar, and Jalalabad cities. Afghan people are willing to spend money on the internet and phone instead of paying for expensive food or clothes, even though electricity is still scarce.
Afghanistan people may further benefit from real peace after 44 years of war and some achievements on the peace front. The world would also benefit because more regions would be connected to Afghanistan which is the main route to China, Pakistain, Iran, India, and Russia.
The majority of people in Afghanistan are dependent on each other — the same way the US is dependent on China for cheaper goods, and Canada on the US. But for Afghanistan, the only problem is Pakistain for example when the border is closed, food prices rise.
Fighting continues in many parts of the country to this day since 2001 between the forces of Evil and Afghan army. Despite Coronavirus’s third wave spreading, fighting has not stopped.
The US and the government have promised peace to the Afghan people, and they are currently working on delivering this promise. Canada pulled out from the war many years ago after realizing there would be no gains. Canada took the right step at the time to leave the conflict behind. But during the last few conferences held on Afghanistan’s grinding of the peace processor, we did not see any positive change on the battleground. The Afghan government is clearly lacking a real plan for the durable and lasting grinding of the peace processor.
Meanwhile, ...back at the pond, the radioactive tadpoles grown into frogs. Really big frogs, in fact... the President of America, Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Sleazy Dem mschine politician, paterfamilias of the Biden Crime Family... has called for all troops to withdraw from the war-torn country by the end of this year, a deal that enforces between the insurgency and US administration.
While Afghanistan started to be part of and accept the Western vision, for example, the current president is more Western enthusiast, however, this vision will not be fully achieved. This is because American forces are leaving the Afghan people this year to very little. They are taking out all their airplanes and vehicles, and weapons only to station them in Pakistain. President Joe Biden ...... 46th president of the U.S. Former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body....... has called for American forces to pull out by the end of September of this year.
On the ground, progress has already been made like the Afghan government trying to create a better life for the civilians, but this is all now at stake. Billions of US dollars spent on development efforts such as schools, hospitals and other infrastructure will be wasted when the troops pull out.
A clear plan for durable peace is needed right now to save Afghanistan from collapsing and safeguard all the gains.

Sometimes the plain wisdom of the past should be heeded and respected. The human experience and sophistication is not negated by the lack of modern technology. I blame Bush for his stupidity in deciding to not just slaughter Al-Qaida and leave a wasteland as a cautionary tale, but instead to moronically presume America could fix the graveyard of Empires. Twenty years and two trillion dollars later, we are leaving and pretending some illusions make it all ok.
Kipling said it best GW,
Now it is not good for the Christian's health to hustle the Aryan brown,
For the Christian riles, and the Aryan smiles and he weareth the Christian down;
And the end of the fight is a tombstone white with the name of the late deceased,
And the epitaph drear: "A Fool lies here who tried to hustle the East."

The 'government' are half educated pansies who want to ride that ever giving gravy train called constitutional democracy , but lack the wherewithal to enforce it on pashtuns. The taliban are trained and rugged fighters with no fear and unlimited hate for interlopers and well intentioned idiots. There was never any contest, it's only a matter of delaying the inevitable.
Most importantly, both sides are horribly, irretrievably radical sunni moslems, so no one can really do anything much for Afghanistan, unless giving well-equipped moslem militaries to the world is your thing.

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Morocco’s minister of state for human rights ...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you... published a post on his official Facebook page on Saturday in response to rumors about his resignation from the ruling Justice and Development Party (PJD).
El Mustapha Ramid addressed his party members and expressed gratitude for their trust in him over the past years.
He said he has been absent from the recent party meetings and activities due to health reasons and "other reasons that do not need to be mentioned."
His post has been interpreted as a resignation from the party.
"I appreciate the importance of what we have all accomplished to serve the society and the state," Ramid added, hoping the party would succeed in achieving reform.
His post was published after Alyaoum24 news website reported his resignation on Friday, a few months before upcoming legislative elections, scheduled for September. Ramid neither confirmed nor denied the news.

It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... Mohammed bin Saeed al-Jaber reaffirmed on Saturday that the Kingdom, leading the Arab coalition backing the official government in the war-torn country, continues to work with each party of the Riyadh Agreement.
The Riyadh Agreement is a Saudi-sponsored conflict settlement that was cosigned by the internationally recognized government of Yemen and the Southern Transitional Council (STC).
"We are counting on everyone to put the interest of our fellow Yemeni people above all else," said al-Jaber in a tweet that urged expediting the return of elected Yemeni government officials to the interim capital, Aden.
According to al-Jaber, the return of ministers to the battle-weary country would better enable the government to perform its duties, especially on alleviating the suffering of Yemenis and completing the implementation of all aspects of the agreement.
Today, many Yemenis are raising their voices in demand for breaking the silence on who is standing in the way of realizing the Riyadh Agreement and exposing the parties blocking government efforts on ending the war, economic crisis and the Iran-backed Iran's Houthi sock puppets ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him... coup in Yemen.
Inked in August 2019, the deal offers a political umbrella for bridging the gap between the government and the STC. It includes political, security, military, economic and development agreements.
As the result of extensive shuttle diplomacy by Saudi Arabia, the agreement was signed and followed by a mechanism for speeding up its implementation.
The deal was deemed a success after producing a technocratic government that represents all parties to the Yemeni political spectrum involved in the Riyadh Agreement.
However, some people cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go... implementing the military and security aspects of the understanding has fallen short of expectations. Some provisions were met, while others remain pending.
"There are some parties who insist on obstruction to achieve personal goals that do not serve Yemeni citizens, the government, or the political spectrum," Yemeni activists who requested anonymity told Asharq al-Awsat.
They warned of what they labeled as a "gamble" taken by those blocking the full application of the agreement at a time when living conditions are hitting new lows in Yemen.
The activists explained that Houthis stand to gain the most from the stalled implementation.
As for al-Jaber’s remark on the need for state officials returning to Aden, activists noted that "shuffling the cards only serves enemies, and that those inhibiting the execution of the Riyadh Agreement must be exposed."

[LIBYAREVIEW] Libyan political analyst, Ayoub al-Awjali, said that the Ottoman Turkish delegation’s visit to Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... was surprising but at the same time, it was expected. He noted that The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire... has no intention to leave Libya as it did not take a single step towards implementing the outcomes of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) in Geneva.
In press statements, al-Awjali, explained that the Ottoman Turkish delegation’s visit was focused on assessing the current situation, and gaining the support of some Libyan parties, especially with the approach of the parliament session to approve the interim Government of National Unity’s (GNU) budget and name the heads of sovereign positions in the country.
He pointed out that Turkey is seeking to prove its presence in Libya, stressing that the successive visits of many Ottoman Turkish officials to Libya aim to back its affiliated militia and the Moslem Brüderbund group. It is doing this in addition to legalizing the presence of its forces in Libya, despite the illegality of the maritime agreement signed between Turkey and the former Government of National Accord (GNA).
The Libyan analyst stressed that Turkey wants to send a message to the whole world that it is present in Libya upon a legitimate agreement, and that the Geneva Agreement, which stipulated the exit of all mercenaries and foreign forces from Libya, does not include the Ottoman Turkish forces.
To conclude, al-Awjali said the recent visit of the Ottoman Turkish Defence Minister to Tripoli sent negative messages to the Libyan people when the latter was received only by Ottoman Turkish soldiers on Libyan territory.

[LIBYAREVIEW] A court declined to grant the older brother of the Manchester Arena bomber immunity from prosecution if he testifies in front of a public inquiry, according to The Independent.
Ismail Abedi denies knowing about or being involved in the attack on May 22nd, 2017, but has so far refused to participate with the investigation, citing legal privilege against self-incrimination.
He may not have been directly involved in that attack, but he raised enough eyebrows in the local Muslim community that they reported him to the counter-terrorism unit even before Middle Bro went kaboom. And of course the entire English branch of the family were known wolves, including both Abedi parents, uncle and cousins, not to mention relatives back in the olde countrie. Anything he says could get him and them all in a great deal of trouble.
Salman Abedi,
...one of the more notable members of the Manchester Libyan jihadi crowd. The parental generation ties back to the al-Qaeda-aligned Libyan Islamic Fighting Group in the 1990s, while the kids pledged to the even more romantic ISIS. Not that it makes much difference in the end — the networks overlap personnel-wise, it’s just a matter of the name on the checking account paying their expenses...
his brother, went kaboom! a suicide bomb amid a crowd of Ariana Grande fans and relatives waiting to pick them up, killing 22 people and injuring hundreds more. Hashem Abedi,
... on occasion spelt Hashim al-Obeidi, Salman Abedi’s baby bro and bomb assistant was arrested in Tripoli while pretending to have nothing to do with that messy nonsense back home. And then, after he snubbed the sentencing hearing, the unbelievers went and sentenced him anyway...
another brother, was sentenced to life in prison for his role in the ISIS-claimed attack.
Ismail Abedi requested that the public inquiry obtain assurance from the attorney general that any evidence he provides will not be used against him in future criminal cases.
In his ruling, Sir John said allowing immunity to get Abedi to co-operate did not outweigh the potential effects on the administration of justice.
"If as a result of an undertaking from the Attorney General, the applicant was to disclose material to the inquiry which provided evidence to justify charges of murder or conspiracy to murder, then he could avoid trial for 22 murders and causing serious injury to many more," he said.
"While less serious, if he were to disclose material... which evidenced a failure by him to disclose information to the authorities which could have prevented the bombing happening, a failure to prosecute would be considered by many to be a considerable affront to justice."
Abedi is expected to be served with a legal notice soon which will "require" his attendance in person at the inquiry and while he will be entitled not to answer questions on the grounds of self-incrimination, he will have to justify why and on what grounds he is refusing to answer.
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi met Saturday with representatives of the protest movement and some of the families of the victims of protest violence during a visit to the southern Dhi Qar governorate. He also visited the family of a slain member of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) and vowed to bring the murderers to justice.
Saturday’s visit was marked the second in less than a year, which reflects the federal government’s keenness to bring calm and stability to the governorate.
People have been taking to the streets of Dhi Qar for two years now to demand basic services, job opportunities and holding killers of protesters accountable.
During his visit, the premier met with representatives of the protesters and "listened to their demands and views regarding the situation in the governorate, as well as the overall political situation in the country," according to a statement by Kadhimi’s office.
"The government aims to achieve economic development that would provide job opportunities, decent living and social justice," Kadhimi stressed, noting that it is keen on holding early elections, which are set for October.
The PM met with the mother of protestor Omar Saadoun, one of dozens who were killed by a crackdown by security forces against rallies in the central Nasiriyah city in November 2019.
He also met with the father of a prominent Nasiriyah activist, Sajjad al-Iraqi, who was kidnapped by unknown button men in September and whose fate is still unknown.
He stressed that the state is determined to achieve justice according to the law.
