Bennett: 'Our tolerance for the unvaccinated has run out'
[Arutz 7] - At a government discussion on Sunday on COVID-19, ministers unanimously approved the proposal to broaden the "Green Class" outline to the entire educational system, Channel 12 reported.

"Regarding the education system - we will adopt the model," added Bennett, adding that after the holidays mass tests would be carried out in the education system.

"This time the distribution will not be through the school but in an alternative logistical way and parents will write a note."

He added, however, that "Today, the Green Pass has a lot of holes. Most of the people don't come with a barcode but rather with a note, and this creates holes, and we will probably stick more tightly to barcodes. We are working on it and we will announce in advance."

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett also commented that "Our tolerance for people who do not get vaccinated has run out."

According to Walla, he announced that a genetic scanning mechanism is currently being developed for everyone who comes through the gates of Ben Gurion Airport.

"I call it 'the Omega'. We are working on a mechanism of genetic scanning for everyone who enters Israel. In this way, Israel will become a radar for the virus.

Bennett backed the Minister of Social Equality Meirav Cohen on her statement that "The next variant will come to Israel through Ben Gurion Airport" and said that the genetic mechanism will help deal with it.

Iraq
Iraqi PM becomes first foreign leader to meet Iran's Raisi
[Ynet] Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhemi became the first foreign leader on Sunday to visit and meet with Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi since the hardliner took office in August.

"I hope despite the aims of the enemies of the two countries, we will witness expansion of good relations between Iran and Iraq," Raisi said in a joint news conference in Tehran.

Raisi said Iraq had agreed to waive visas for Iranian pilgrims to Shi'ite holy sites in Iraq later this month on the occasion of Arbaeen marking the end of the 40-day mourning period for Imam Hussein, Prophet Mohammed's grandson.

"Decisions were also made about the two countries' financial issues that should be adopted," Raisi said, without elaborating.

Government Corruption
9/11 Was a Day of Unforgivable Government Failure
Lengthy, but well worth the read.
[MISES Wire] Perhaps more than anything else, the rationale given for the necessity of the state—and the necessity of supporting the regime at any given time—is that it "keeps us safe." This permeates thinking about government institutions at all levels, from "thin blue line" sloganeering at the local level, all the way up to jingoism surrounding the Pentagon.

Presumably, the hundreds of billions of dollars extracted from taxpayers, year after year after year, is all both necessary and laudable because without it, chaos would reign on our streets, and foreign invaders would slaughter Americans.

Yet this rationale for state power also presumes that the nation's alleged defenders are actually competent at their jobs.

Whether or not this is the case certainly remains debatable, as the recent military disasters in Afghanistan have made clear. The Pentagon brass pushed for continued war in Afghanistan for twenty years, and, ultimately, lost the entire country to the Taliban, the very people Pentagon generals assured us they would eliminate "soon."

[Read More: "The Pentagon and the Generals Wanted This Disastrous War" by Ryan McMaken]

Moreover, the so-called intelligence community in the United States has repeatedly failed in its mission at crucial times. This can be seen in the fact the CIA was asleep at the switch in the lead-ups to both the Iranian Revolution in 1979 and the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962—both of which constituted an immense blow to American "safety" by the American regime's metrics.

Needless to say, the terrorist attacks of 9/11 were made possible by an immense military and intelligence failure on the part of the United States government. Not only did the US government provide the motivation for the attacks—through endless meddling in Middle Eastern regimes—but the US regime failed to protect its own citizens when the blowback arrived.

Yet, as is so common following displays of incompetence by government bureaucrats, virtually no government agents were held accountable for this failure. The head of the CIA on 9/11, George Tenet, continued at his post for years afterward. There certainly was no "house cleaning" at the FBI either.

Add to Iran and Cuba the fall of the Soviet Union. They transitioned from intelligence agency to geo-political manipulators, regime changers, and global decision makers long ago.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
via Lara Logan: OSHA text on vaccines
Direct quote from OSHA "guidance" to businesses, from an article done by Lara Logan and referenced in this freep thread:
Note on recording adverse reactions to vaccines: OSHA, like many other federal agencies, is working diligently to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations. OSHA does not want to give any suggestion of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination or to disincentivize employers’ vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA will not enforce 29 CFR part 1904’s recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination at least through May 2022. OSHA will reevaluate the agency’s position at that time to determine the best course of action moving forward. Individuals may choose to submit adverse reactions to the federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System.
So they're not going to record side effects themselves but they're going to go ahead and tell us there aren't any side effects. right.

FBI releases newly declassified 9/11 document 20 years after attacks
[FoxNews] The FBI released a heavily redacted, 16-page declassified document Saturday night that sheds light on logistical support given to two Saudi hijackers before Sept. 11, 2001.

The document was released exactly 20 years after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and days after President Biden requested a declassification review from the FBI and other government agencies related to the tragedy.

The document summarizes an FBI interview conducted in 2015 with a Saudi man applying for U.S. citizenship who had frequent contact with other Saudi nationals in the U.S. who provided "significant logistical support" to the first hijackers arriving in the country.

Some of the 9/11 victims’ families have been hoping for years for documentation to help them in a potential lawsuit against the Saudi government, alleging it supported the hijackers. But while the document details the contacts the hijackers had with Saudi associates in the U.S., it doesn’t provide proof that senior Saudi government officials were complicit in the plot.

Saudia Arabia has consistently denied involvement in the attacks and the Saudi Embassy in Washington said it supports the full declassification of all records as a way to "end the baseless allegations against the Kingdom once and for all."

Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were Saudis and Usama bin Laden was born in the country.

Despite an investigation of Saudi officials after 9/11, the 9/11 Commission report found "no evidence that the Saudi government as an institution or senior Saudi officials individually funded" the hijackers. Money could have been funneled to al Qaeda through Saudi-linked charities, the 2004 report concluded.

Hack of Texas GOP website on 9/11 ‘made my day,' ex-Biden-Obama adviser says
[FoxNews] Jon Cooper previously mocked vaccine opponents, writing, 'I see soon-to-be-dead people'.

The website of the Texas Republican Party was hacked Saturday by a group that claimed to be protesting the state’s newly enacted abortion law, according to reports.

Among those reacting to the news was Jon Cooper, a former New York financial adviser to President Biden and former President Barack Obama.

Cooper served as national finance chairman for Draft Biden 2016, Long Island campaign chairman for Obama, and served as majority leader in the legislature of Suffolk County, New York.

Last month, Cooper tweeted a photoshopped mashup of real-life vaccine-mandate protesters and the child character from the 1999 movie "The Sixth Sense" and added his comment: "I see soon-to-be-dead people."

US shoots down Iranian drones attacking airport in Iraq: officials
[FoxNews] The U.S. counter-rocket, artillery and mortar system (C-RAM) engaged the two bomb-laden drones which were made in Iran, a separate U.S. official told Fox News.

The attack is the first following a two month lull in drone and rocket attacks to target the U.S. presence in Baghdad and military bases across Iraq. On July 8, rockets landed in and around the heavily fortified Green Zone in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, which houses the U.S. Embassy. It caused material damage but no casualties.

Until recently the attacks were a frequent occurrence. The U.S. has blamed Iran-backed militias for attacks. More recently, the attacks have become more sophisticated, with militants using drones instead of Katyusha rockets.

Roughly 2,500 U.S. troops remain in Iraq, with an additional 900 troops in neighboring Syria to make sure the remnants of ISIS stay underground.

She noted the trend on the same day the US Centers for Disease Control released new data showing that unvaccinated individuals are 11 times more likely to die of the virus.

“It is important to emphasize that the severely ill patients currently in hospitals are for the most part unvaccinated,” Alroy-Preis said in an interview with Israel’s Channel 12. She added that almost everyone on a ventilator is not vaccinated.

“Out of 175 ventilated patients, two-thirds are not vaccinated at all,” she said.

“It is a matter of saving lives and not a matter of how many of you catch the virus,” Alroy-Preis said, directing her comment at the roughly 850,000 Israelis who have chosen not to get vaccinated. “You are endangering yourself.”

Will There Be Another Meat Shortage In 2021?
[The List] - ...there's a chance we won't be seeing meat shortages of the kind that we saw in early-to mid-2020. Much of it has to do with the reason the meat shortages happened to begin with.

During the early days of the pandemic, many meat workers — who were unable to practice any form of social distancing — were falling ill with COVID-19. And even though they were sick, these workers soldiered on side by side while infecting others, decimating their ranks within the meatpacking industry as a result. This meant  leaving livestock that couldn't get slaughtered, because there weren't enough meatpackers working in plants (via Time). The labor slowdown also meant that it took a considerable amount of time for meat products to get to restaurants or supermarket shoppers (via CNBC).

Today, the meat industry is facing a different set of circumstances from the ones it had to deal with for most of 2020, even though its outcomes might look the same. The industry is still facing some kind of labor crunch because while half of these workers are vaccinated, a great number are also vaccine-hesitant. "It's hard to find employees to work and to show up in this in this economy and so it's already an issue," meat owner John Federspiel tells WANE.

The already-fragile meat supply chain also received another shock when the industry's largest supplier, JBS foods, fell victim to a ransomware attack in June, which affected operations in the U.S., Canada, and Australia (via Vox).

But will all this be enough to send meat inventories plummeting like they did last year? Likely not, since groceries have gotten more savvy. David Smith of Associated Wholesale Grocers said in early-July, "We're buying a lot of everything. Our inventories are up significantly over the same period last year," he said (via The Wall Street Journal).

This combination of pandemic preparedness, along with the rising cost of food (Forbes says meat prices are up 6% from what they were last year — which means people may be less inclined to consume meat), could be a sign that our meat supplies might not end up being as they were last year. And this is good news that many of us probably need right now.

Uman pilgrims 'majority' of Ben Gurion Airport's newly diagnosed COVID cases
[YNet] - According to data obtained by Ynet, 1,500 out of 16,000 pilgrims tested positive for COVID on Thursday and Friday; pilgrims were allowed to travel to Ukraine for Rosh Hashanah despite warning from coronavirus czar of new infection wave.

...Every year, thousands of members of the Breslov Hasidic movement descend on Uman in time for the Jewish New Year for a three-day celebration at the gravesite of the movement's founder Rebbe Nachman of Breslov.

Most Jews making pilgrimage go to Jerusalem. These "Jews" make pilgrimage to the gravesite of their 18th century founder in Ukraine. Mind you, it's not just the miracle dispensing gravesite.

#2  In America we are familiar with the Chabad Hasids, Xyz — they’re the ones who do public Hannukah menorahs on Hannukah, and provide welcoming Jewish spaces around the world for any Jew who walks in. It was a Chabad rabbi and his family who were tortured to death in the Lashkar-e-Taiba attack on Bombay in 2008.

The Breslov Hasids are a different branch, not nearly as open to the outside world. In Israel they are parasitic on the State: aggressively demanding financial support while they study the Bible instead of working to support themselves, refusing to serve in the IDF, and rioting in the streets if there is even a hint that the government is considering reducing their special privileges. Plus they have many of the pathologies seen in cults of all sorts.

#3  tw, when we toured Israel, our tour guide mentioned the Breslov Hasids. Apparently they have just enough votes that they can swing the Knesset, so several of the parties try to curry their favor - giving in to demands for not serving in the IDF, support to study the scriptures, etc.

#4  There are all kinds of Breslovers. Not all are Hasid, some are Modern Orthodox looking for something they can't find in MODOX.

Once I was in Israel looking to park near a hotel and was surrounded by Breslovers dancing to cymbols. I drove on the sidewalk to get around them.

Othertimes I was in traffic jams caused by Breslover dancing parties.

The haredim generally consider the Brelovers are idol worshippers.

#5  Thank you for explaining better than I could, gentleman.

As far as I can tell, each branch of the Hasids has personality cults stuff going on around their particular founder, plus in some cases around the rabbinic descendants to the present day. Remember the Lubavitch (Chabad) waiting excitedly for their chief rabbi, Menachem Mendel Schneerson, to announce that he was the messiah?

KFC Bets On Vegan Nuggets Amid Nationwide Poultry Shortage
[ZERO] Kentucky Fried Chicken is serving up a new vegan future for its fast-food chain amid poultry shortages and the continued disruption caused by the virus pandemic.

KFC's president in the U.S., Kevin Hochman, has been preparing the Louisville-based fast-food restaurant chain, known for its "Finger-Lickin' Good" chicken, for a future of plant-based meat. The company has been testing plant-based nuggets from Beyond Meat in select locations but has yet to take it nationwide.

The poultry shortage, which has disrupted chicken supply chains across the UK and US, could be why Hochman brings a faux option that replicates chicken to market faster than anticipated to alleviate supply woes. The shortage is so dire in the US that the company cannot promote its breaded chicken tenders on US television.

Bloomberg's Leslie Patton said KFC is preparing for what looks like an inevitable future of fake chicken going mainstream. He sat down with the KFC executive to discuss more about faux nuggets.

Kurdish villagers fear for safety as Iran bombs Erbil's mountains for a third day
[Rudaw] Iranian forces bombed the mountains around a village in northeast Erbil province on Saturday, terrifying local residents, according to the head of the village. Kurdish forces say it was an Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
on the third day of attacks by Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
on Kurdish opposition groups based in the Kurdistan Region.

"Since 4am, Iran has been regularly bombarding the mountains in the vicinity of Barbzin, creating fear among the villagers. The lives of people who own livestock and farmers are in danger," Mohammed Majid, mukhtar (chieftain) of the village, told Rudaw.

The village has been under fire since Thursday when Iran launched attacks against Kurdish opposition groups located within Kurdistan Region borders, sending warplanes, drones, and suicide drones across the border. Areas around Choman, Sidakan, and Haji Omran in northeastern Erbil province are the focus of the attacks. Barbzin is located in the Sidakan area.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI), which has bases in the targeted area, confirmed the attack in a tweet, saying the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) "carried out aerial attacks for a third day in a row targeting civilian regions of Barbzin and Sidakan."

On Monday, an IRGC commander threatened to launch an assault on the groups after several recent deadly festivities and told civilians to stay out of harm’s way.

"Given the condition in the region and the possibility of a severe and decisive response by the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran against the terrorist groups... nested in the northern Iraqi region, we call on the people of these regions to stay away from the bases of these terrorist groups so they do not come to any harm," said IRGC commander Mohammed Pakpour.

On Friday, the IRGC used a Koranic verse to justify their attacks, quoting a verse that calls on the faithful to "fight the disbelievers."

Kurdish opposition parties have struggled for decades to secure the rights of Kurds within Iran. From the mid-1990s until 2015, the parties based in the Kurdistan Region generally stayed away from clashing with Iranian security forces, but since early 2015 these groups, namely KDPI, the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (KDP-I) and Komala, have deployed units to the mountainous areas close to Iranian borders. From there they have sent units inside Iran and clashed with IRGC and other security forces.

The Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK), affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and based in mountains out of the reach of Kurdistan Region security forces, has sporadically clashed with Iranian security forces over the last two decades. In recent years the number of festivities between Kurdish opposition parties and the IRGC has increased.

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), which has cordial relations with Tehran, has called on armed Iranian Kurdish opposition groups not to launch attacks against neighboring countries from Kurdistan Region territory.

Five Extremely Simple Reasons Why Biden Made the Right Call Mandating Vaccines
h/t HotAir
[Slate] - Conservatives have collectively gone wild with rage and indignation over President Joe Biden’s new vaccine mandate for private businesses, which will require large employers to make sure their workers have either been inoculated or get tested weekly. In the right’s telling, the coming rule is a paternalistic—even tyrannical—imposition on American freedoms, a step down the road to biomedical serfdom that calls for mass civil disobedience, and an offense that has some of Congress’ leading nutters bellowing on Twitter that "unvaccinated lives matter."

So it seems like a good moment to point out the very simple reasons why Biden’s move is in fact entirely sensible, especially since parts of the media seem intent on framing the whole thing as just another round in America’s culture war rather than an actual matter of life and death. (Here’s looking at you, Mike Allen.)
Though I'm not sure Americans - on either side of the ideological divide - can even consider the idea that the other side is not the Antichrist.

My Life, My Choice

So lets say you have had the VAX and it TEMPORARILY works for you.

So IF you are TEMPORARILY immune, then why the hell are you worried about those that have chosen not to be VAX'd yet?

Or, is this just another Government Oxymoron or Deflection?

We already have the CDC/NIH admitting, that the VAX only works so long. Then you will need a BOOSTER shot every 5 to 6 months or new more infectious and less deadly strain.

QUESTIONS

What about the Research by several respected medical groups, showing some VAX'd persons can be carriers (Thyroid Mary's)?

What if you already had the C-19/21 and recovered? Given you now have anti-bodies and some natural resistance to the C-19/21+ at least equal to the VAX? Then why the shot?

Why violate the civil rights of a 100++ million citizens by forcing a constant TEMPORARILY VAX solution, while denying viable / long proven alternative treatments and medications.

But then give the alternative medications denied to US Citizen to ILLEGALS entering the country and but not the VAX? Plus admit doing so during a WH New Brief? Something ain't right.....

Since according to CDC/WHO/NIH data.
This c-19/21+ mutates and infects like that other well known virus, called the FLU. We know it is up to 90x's more likely to kill older adults or those in lower age groups with pre-existing medical issues.

So why demand the VAX'ing of healthy kids, teens, and young adults under age 29?

Summary:
My wife and I are 60+ and part of the Wait and See group.
But Over the last 600+ days, we have been out just about everyday in public stores and places and never been infected. All we do is just practice common seasonal FLU safety measures.

However, we have had a number of medical field and 1st Responder family members infected despite being VAX'd and recovered. With only 1really close call, he was VAX'd and age 50'ish.

So mine your own business and remember this simple RIGHT we all have.

#6  What about the Research by several respected medical groups, showing some VAX'd persons can be carriers (Thyroid Mary's)?

That's why unvaccinated should be kept away.
p.s. "Thyroid Mary's"???

What if you already had the C-19/21 and recovered? Given you now have anti-bodies and some natural resistance to the C-19/21+ at least equal to the VAX? Then why the shot?

Because natural immunity declines with time - just like vaccinated one (actually read the Israeli paper you're all misquoting!).

Why violate the civil rights of a 100++ million citizens by forcing a constant TEMPORARILY VAX solution, while denying viable / long proven alternative treatments and medications.
(i) "100++ million"???
From Our World in Data · Last updated: 2 days ago
United States
Doses given: 379M
Fully vaccinated: 178M
% of population fully vaccinated: 54.3%
(ii) Because your "viable / long proven alternative treatments" are such only in conservative press. In the real world they don't exist.

Face it NN2N1, the anti-vaxxer movement is deader than anti-guy-marriage movement. Two months from now 90% of adult Americans will be vaccinated. And, long before that, the orange Messiah will call upon the faithful to vaccinate - he can't afford to lose too many of them.

Depending on the Medical research institute, that addressed VAX'd being possible carriers. The data found, ran from 8% and little more depending variable like up to a
1 month window after final shot and a window 5+ months after final. Meaning people thinking they are immune still can get infected and be carriers.

I have no data yet of the timeframes for booster shots. But I'll be digging.

Regarding my millions of civil rights violated.
As of: September 12, 2021, 12:32 GMT
The USA had 1,144,333 claimed new infections 1.144 in about 322 over the LAST 7 DAYS. This is makes it about a 0.28300000000000003 of 1% chance of getting infected in USA in the last 7 days.

Over the last 7 days, the USA had 9,168 deaths claimed to be C-19 that is 28 deaths per million population. -6% decline from the previous week. So IF you were unlucky enough to be one of the 0.28300000000000003 infected your odds of dying were
0.8011653950379828 of 1% for those infected.

We are a population of 333+ Million (Not Counting ILLEGALS) and using your 54.7% are VAX'd number. That means that 150.81 Million are still UN-VAX'd. (millions)

BTW: The US Population has actually increased, not declined, since the C-19 started.

So if 178 million FULL VAX doses have been successfully applied, then why are a good handful of the VAX'd still dying from C-19?

#11  The story being sold in the media is that the reluctant/anti-vax crowd is conservatives/Trump supporters/white supremacists. As near as I can tell, the populations are:
something like 20-30% of health care workers
unionized groups like teachers and postal workers
minorities (meaning blacks)
and the educated elite.

Of course, not everyone in the above categories is anti-. It's not a binary world, people. Perhaps there would be less reluctance if the current advocates had not campaigned so hard against the vaccines when Trump was Prez.

#26  Covid Delta variant big in the south because that’s when people spend the most time inside with the windows closed and air conditioning cranked. With D burning itself out and people opening widows and staying outside as it becomes more temperate it will fade in the south. Right after the weather turns cold in the north, the windows stay shut and people stay indoors you’ll see the D variety start ripping through the north.

As for the flu, apparently the Covid virus causes the immune system and interferon reaction to the point where it prevents the flu virus from taking hold for a while. It worked a similar way for the rhinovirus that held off the pandemic H1N1 flu in 2009, at least temporarily. The theory is that by Covid outcompeting Flu, the flu never had a large enough pool of vulnerable people to spread widely, as well as people taking extraordinary precautions with distancing and hand washing, etc.

Iraq
Iraqi forces arrest ‘most-wanted’ ISIS suspect
[Rudaw] Iraqi forces arrested the "most-wanted" Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) suspect accused of plotting attacks in the Kurdistan Region, the military announced on Saturday.

The suspect nicknamed Abu Ibrahim Dabq is the "first" wanted man by the security forces in the Kurdistan Region, the Security Media Cell said in a statement published on its Telegram channel.

He is accused of being responsible for setting up "terrorist checkpoints" in Anbar, Kirkuk,
... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time...
and other governorates, it added.

Dabq’s wife has already been arrested, the statement added. She was suspected of smuggling weapons and explosives into Erbil for ISIS and was in-charge of distributing some funds to Death Eaters.

An ISIS official and coordinator between leaders was also arrested, according to the military statement.

ISIS holy warriors and sleeper cells remain active, particularly in parts of northern and western Iraq. Four people were killed in two villages near Makhmour in a suspected ISIS attack on Saturday morning.

Last week, Kurdish security forces arrested a group of ISIS suspects that were planning terror acts in Erbil. They are accused of plotting to plant bombs inside the city’s bazaar as well as targeting foreigners and security personnel.

Afghanistan
Afghan Evacuation Flight Leaves as U.N. Warns of Taliban 'Reprisals'
[AnNahar] A second charter flight left Afghanistan on Friday carrying foreigners and Afghans in a sign the country's main airport was close to resuming commercial operations, as the United Nations
...a formerly good idea gone bad...
warned of "credible allegations" of reprisal killings by the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
The plane departed for Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
the day after just over 100 passengers, including some Americans, left Kabul airport on the first flight carrying foreigners out of the Afghan capital since a US-led evacuation ended on August 30.

Another 32 U.S. citizens or permanent residents left Afghanistan with Washington's support on Friday, either on the Qatar Airways flight or by land, National Security Council spokeswoman Emily Horne said.

"Today's departures demonstrate how we are giving Americans clear and safe options to leave Afghanistan from different locations," Horne said in a statement.

"We will continue to provide proven options for leaving. It is up to Americans who remain whether they choose to take them."

Of the 158 passengers who arrived Friday evening in the Qatari capital Doha, 49 were Frenchies and their families, with a Qatari official adding there were also German, Canadian, Dutch, British, Belgian and Mauritanian citizens on board.

The official added that their safe transport to Kabul's airport in a Qatari convoy was also coordinated by the Gulf state, which was already the transit point for about half of the 123,000 people airlifted out of Afghanistan as the pro-Western government crumbled and the Taliban took over.

The White House said the Taliban had been "businesslike and professional" in allowing Thursday's flight to leave, but the United Nations envoy for Afghanistan warned the group may be targeting perceived enemies.

"We are also concerned that despite the many statements granting general amnesties... there have been credible allegations of reprisal killings," envoy Deborah Lyons said in New York.

She said Afghan security officials and people who worked for the previous administration were at risk.

Unconfirmed reports in the capital, meanwhile, suggested the Taliban may hold a ceremony to swear in the new government on Saturday -- the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks that triggered the end of their first stint in power.

- 'JUST KILL ME' -
As news of a resumption in evacuation flights spread, some people gathered at the airport gates, pleading with Taliban guards to get in.

"If I can't go just kill me!" said one woman, among a group of women and kiddies each carrying backpacks.

Many Afghans in the capital are fearful of a repeat of the hardline Islamist group's brutal and repressive rule from 1996-2001.

The Taliban have already begun to segregate men and women students and medical staff, suggested women will be banned from playing sports, and unveiled an all-male government drawn exclusively from loyalist ranks.

The U.N. education agency UNESCO on Friday warned in a report that Afghanistan risks backsliding on nearly two decades of schooling gains for children, especially girls, due to a projected rise in the number of internally displaced people, new Taliban-imposed restrictions on women's education and the withdrawal of international aid, which makes up half of the country's education expenditures.

Afghanistan's economy also risks a likely sharp contraction, said former central bank chief Ajmal Ahmady, who fled the country just after Kabul fell to the Taliban in mid-August.

"I don't want to say economic collapse, but I think it's going to be (an) extremely challenging or difficult economic situation," he said in a discussion hosted by The Atlantic Council, predicting GDP would shrink by 10 to 20 percent.

He said international sanctions that block aid funding and restrict access to $9 billion in reserves also could create a shortage of domestic currency.

More than 100 passengers were on the Qatar Airways flight that landed in Doha on Thursday evening, 10 days after the chaotic airlift came to a dramatic close with the U.S. pullout.

Government Corruption
Biden Crime Family Vaccine Mandate: Unconstitutional, Unscientific, Underhanded
[American Thinker] "Tonight, I'm announcing that the Department of Labor is developing an emergency rule to require all employers with 100 or more employees that together employee[sic] over 80 million workers to ensure their workforces are fully vaccinated or show a negative test at least once a week," Biden pontificated on Thursday.

The edict hasn't actually been issued yet; it is only in the making. The White House has given itself several weeks — even months, possibly — for OSHA to bring it into force.

After cratering his own approval rating down to an unprecedented 39% — the lowest ever for a Democrat president at this point in his term — Biden seems to have retreated from his imbecilic "Ready, Fire, Aim" Afghanistan withdrawal strategy, which he boastfully executed under an immovable August 31 deadline.

Instead, he's given himself a flexible timeframe if needed and even an escape route from the mandate if the pushback proves too damaging optically. This as hundreds, if not thousands, of U.S. citizens, U.S. visa holders, and Western allies still have no escape route from the new Texas-sized Democrat-created terror state of Talibanistan.

The administration may also be looking for a way to turn the conversation from what may become (and some are arguing already is) the greatest hostage crisis in U.S. history. Could Biden be angling to get the GOP to stop talking about Afghanistan by infuriating them with a king-like edict that tramples the Constitution? Time will tell.

But if he's genuinely planning to chain America with an unprecedented mandate, it will almost certainly be found unconstitutional, as were his other recent Constitution-usurping efforts to extend the CDC's renter eviction moratorium and illegally suspend Trump's "Remain in Mexico" policy. The Supreme Court torpedoed both of these Democrat power-enhancing schemes.

With two SCOTUS rebukes after less than eight months in office, it's become crystal-clear that Biden doesn't give much credence to the constitutional limits of government — especially if they get in his way of expanding the Democrat power base.

One can imagine Biden reclining in the White House (possibly in a special room in the basement) and dreaming of a Biden-ista Revolution that creates an unstoppable permanent Democrat-controlled federal government, similar to what Democrats have done in California.

This brings us back to Biden's mandate. Like the CDC mandate and Biden's border betrayal, Biden's handlers have assured and reassured the country that they are on solid legal ground. The precedent, they say for the mandate, is the 1905 Jacobson v. Massachusetts decision, which states:

Abimael Guzman, head of Peruvian rebel group Shining Path, Tango Uniform
[Aljazeera] Abimael Guzman, leader of the Sendero Luminoso, or Shining Path, rebels who nearly overthrew the Peruvian state in a bloody Maoist revolution, has died while in prison, the government said. He was 86.

Guzman was captured in 1992 in Peru’s capital, Lima, and jailed for the rest of his life after being convicted as a "terrorist".

Susana Silva, head of Peru’s prison system, told RPP radio on Saturday that Guzman had been ill in recent months and had been released from a hospital in early August.

She said his health condition worsened in the past two days, without elaborating further, adding Guzman was set to receive more medical attention on Saturday but died in his cell at about 6:40am local time (11:40 GMT).

A former philosophy professor, Guzman was a lifelong communist who travelled to China in the late 1960s and was awed by Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution. He resolved to bring Mao’s brand of communism to Peru through a class war that he launched in 1980.

Guzman founded the Shining Path, transforming it from a ragtag band of peasants and radical students into a potent rebel group. An estimated 69,000 people, mostly in Peru’s poor interior, were killed between 1980 and 2000 in the internal conflict launched by the Shining Path.

Bill Maher Slams NFL for Playing Black National Anthem, Says Its 'Segregation' but 'Under a Different Name'
[Townhall] HBO's Bill Maher called out the NFL Friday for its inclusion of the black national anthem ahead of Thursday's season opening game, a move that the "Real Time" host blasted as a form of segregation.

"I saw last night on the football game, Alicia Keys sang ’Lift Every Voice and Sing,' which now I hear is called the Black national anthem," Maher said on his show. "Now, maybe we should get rid of our national anthem, but I think we should have one national anthem."

"I think when you go down a road where you're having two different national anthems, colleges sometimes now have ... many of them have different graduation ceremonies for Black and White, separate dorms -- this is what I mean! Segregation! You've inverted the idea. We're going back to that under a different name," he continued.

Maher also slammed American colleges and universities for becoming a "social justice factory," referencing several instances where educators have resigned over pressure to be more of "political activists" than teachers.

The most recent example of this was a Portland State University philosophy professor stepping down earlier this week after he was informed that he could no longer offer his opinion to students on the topic of protected classes.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
27 Minutes at Son Tay - Operation Kingpin movie fund raiser
[GoFundMe] Operation Kingpin lasted for just 27 heart-stopping minutes. 61 American prisoners of war were being held at the Son Tay Prison Camp just outside of Hanoi. For months, U.S. Special Forces gathered intelligence, made plans for rescuing the prisoners and trained meticulously for every contingency.

On November 21, 1970, U.S. Special Forces soldiers and airmen executed a swift and stunning raid of the Son Tay prison camp with zero American casualties, while three Navy carriers executed the largest night carrier operation of the entire conflict to suppress the enemy air defenses. Not a single prisoner was found. Despite this, the raid stands as one of the most significant operations in modern military history.

Kingpin: 27 Minutes at Son Tay is the true story of the Raiders the way the Raiders want it told; a thoughtful, compelling first-person account of the planning and execution of a never before attempted rescue mission into the heart of enemy territory.

In Kashmirfight blog case, cops collect incriminating evidence after questioning 4 journalists
[OneIndia] The Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
police have found credible evidence with regard the criminal mastermind who is behind the blog kashmirfight.wordpress.com.

In a note the police said Mir Hilal, resident of Bemina (Journalist- TRTworld), Md Shah Abbas, (Freelance journalist), Azhar Qadri, (Journalist-The Tribune) and Showkat Motta(was editor-in-chief of The Narrator and currently working at a wholesale shop) were called in for questioning.

On the basis of the evidence, four different places were searched after obtaining proper warrants the police said. During the searches, mobile phones, laptops and other gadgets were seized the police said.

For the purpose of investigation, all the above four persons were called for questioning and were allowed to go in the evening and have been directed to present themselves today again, the police said.

The investigation is in progress and the scrutiny of electronic gadgets is also going on. So far various numbers of Pakistain, The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
, Saudi have been found, besides they are also found have been in contact of various virtual numbers, the note also added.

IGP Kashmir denied it to be an issue of harassing journalists but a due process of law is being followed while investigating a sensitive case. He advised media fraternity not to spread false news or narrative which may amount to unnecessary interference in investigation of case. The involved persons would be arrested in this case as and when the evidences are collected, the police also said.

Hamas threatens to escalate West Bank clashes after capture of fugitives
[JPost]"Oooooooh you're SO gonna get it!"
Palestinian factions have vowed to end all talks of a ceasefire with Israel following the re-capture of the Gilboa Prison fugitives.

Hamas released a statement on Saturday morning, stating that the capture of four of the escaped Gilboa fugitives is "yet another round of confrontation with Israel."

"The escape revived the Palestinian people's hopes that it is only a matter of time until the West Bank 'blows up' in Israel's face," the terrorist organization said.

Palestinian factions have vowed to end all talks of a ceasefire with Israel following the re-capture of the Gilboa Prison fugitives they called "heroic," according to Palestinian media.

In reaction to the re-arrests of Yakoub Mohammed Qadri and Mohammed Ardah late on Friday night, Hamas launched a rocket towards the Eshkol Regional Council in southern Israel. The IDF responded by carrying out an airstrike in the Gaza Strip.

Protesters condemned the recent so-called violence carried out by women protestors and expressed their full support to IEA.

The women also welcomed the scheme of separate classes for boys and girls in all universities and institutes and pledged that they will be working for strengthening Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan.

Earlier, hundreds of women had gathered in Kunduz province and protested for support of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

Many of America's children will likely grow up ignorant of 9/11
[NYPOST] Once, the people of our traumatized nation cried out, in unison — "Never forget!" Now, 20 years after 9/11, we’re suffering from a case of willful, mass amnesia.

Never forget?

Pretty soon, we’ll be lucky if there’s anyone left to remember the day Islamic butchers crashed four planes into the heart of our country, leaving a trail of chaos, murder and so many tears. Because in large swaths of this nation, the woke folks in charge have chosen to discard memories of the darkest day in American history. And it frightens me.

Only 14 states — 14! — have mandated classroom instruction about the terror attacks of 9/11. On the honor roll is a jumble of places, only some scorched by terror: Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and New York.

But in most of this country, including big states like Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, and small ones down to Rhode Island, there exists no requirement that instructors say one word about 9/11. Even governments in New Jersey and Connecticut, two states that lost a large number of people who came to work in New York’s fallen World Trade Center, have not seen fit to require that all school kids learn why some parents or grandparents failed to come home one day in September. Nor are there mandated 9/11 lessons in Pennsylvania, where a downed jet crashed into a field, killing everyone aboard.

The result is that kids not yet born on that day are likely to stare blankly at any mention of the date. Given the opportunity to impart lessons on terrorism in the classrooms, many schools, school districts or individual teachers choose to opt out, or simply gloss over the subject each year as 9/11 rolls around.

What Mullah Baradar's passport says about Taliban ties with Pakistan
[ONEINDIA] Pakistan on Friday categorically denied links to the Taliban and rejected media reports that it had helped the group take control of the Panjshir Valley.

While Islamabad denies any meddling in the affairs of Afghanistan, a year ago, much before the Taliban had taken control over the country, Twitter was abuzz with details of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar's passport.

Baradar who is today number two in the Afghanistan government holds a Pakistan passport. He holds a Pakistani passport with different identification details. The passport which was circulated on Twitter identifies Baradar as Muhammad Arif and a Pakistani national.

Aurang Khan Zalmay, a Twitter user pointed out in 2020 that Baradar, head of the Taliban's political office in Qatar holds Pakistani nationality and travels with a Pakistani passport on the condition of anonymity.

Afghanistan
Taliban’s caretaker cabinet is most ideal in past 50 years: Hekmatyar
Pakistan approves.
[KhaamaPress] Head of Hezb-e-Islami Gulbadin Hekmatyar said that the interim cabinet of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is the most ideal one he has seen in the past five decades in Afghanistan as it does not include dual passport holders.
Hek throws em a bone. As usual, he misses
Though he himself is not part of the cabinet, he has praised the cabinet as it is free of seculars and what he called agents of other countries.

Gulbadin Hekmatyar said that the announcement of the interim cabinet was an urgent requirement since there was a complete political vacuum.

He also suggested the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
be cautious in reopening those embassies that were part of the 20 years’ war and killed over one million people in Afghanistan.

The Head of Afghanistan’s largest political party also accused the defense minister of the previous government Bismullah Muhammadi of stealing 17 helicopters and other military equipment.

He said that Muhammadi was appointed as defense minister before the US’s full withdrawal and he stole hundreds of Humvees, rangers, artilleries, and other military equipment to fight the Taliban.

On the cabinet, Hekmatyar said that it includes those who have been in Bagram and Guantanamo and have fought NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Originally it was a mutual defense pact directed against an expansionist Soviet Union. In later years it evolved into a mechanism for picking the American pocket while criticizing the cut of the American pants...
He said that the Taliban has said the cabinet to be flexible and added that they have to be given time.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
ISIS militants mass on central Asian republics' border
[TASS] Tens of thousands of Islamic State militants (IS, outlawed in Russia) are located in Afghanistan, including the provinces on the border with Central Asian countries, according to intelligence, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said in an op-ed published by the Gazeta.Ru news website on Saturday.

"According to the intelligence services, now the region numbers tens of thousands of the IS militants and their followers, with the significant part of them concentrated in the northern and eastern provinces bordering the Central Asian countries. The leadership of the Islamic State openly announced plans to spread its influence to the entire region," the article dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks said.

According to Medvedev, the US during its almost 20-year-long operation in Afghanistan "could not offer anything against the Islamic State militants who massively relocated from Syria to Afghanistan." "The US pulling out of Afghanistan is only heating the activity of the terrorist organization which remains an enormous threat to Asia, Africa, Middle East and Europe," he thinks.

Medvedev pointed out that the Americans did not attain the main goal which was expressed by the country’s then-President George Bush after the September 11 attacks - the victory over terrorism in Afghanistan. "Due to many US’ miscalculations, including in the Middle Eastern policy, the terrorists continue to operate in the country’s territory," he thinks.

He also named drug production among unresolved problems in Afghanistan. Medvedev noted that Afghanistan’s drug industry reached peak production figures during the presence of US and its NATO allies in the country. According to data cited, over the past 20 years the volume of the illegal production of opiates increased from 17 to 40 times compared to the 2001 level. The share of Afghanistan in the global production of these drugs makes up about 85%.

"All these examples once again confirm the idea that it is impossible to create a democratic miracle from the outside while simultaneously ridding the world of terrorism and drugs. Washington hasn’t managed to stabilize the situation in a poor country tortured by wars, transform it into a modern state," he concluded.

#1  I look forward to Russia and China having to spend blood and treasure trying to stop these fanatics. I can't see them backing off. Islam says gambling with cash is a sin. Staking your life to subjugate the infidel, however, is a commandment, the reward for which, upon death, is an eternity in paradise. Both the Taliban and the foreign Islamist warriors they shelter are degenerate gamblers. We've not heard the last of them outside their borders.

Extraordinary measures were required after Bloody Sunday
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The new St. Petersburg Governor-General D.F. Trepov began with decisive action. He introduced martial law in the capital, demanded to resume work, and recommended that entrepreneurs make partial concessions. On January 13 (26), 1905, the strike at the factories began to decline. The issue of newspapers was resumed two days later.

"After a terrible week," noted on January 15 (28), "St. Petersburg Vedomosti", “having tortured everyone and driven to despair, with hope for the future, the Russian capital's press began to work."

University of Kansas student body president shares ‘Death to America' tweet
[TheCollegeFix]
Che is dead. Get over it.
The University of Kansas student body president has no plans to apologize for sharing a "Death to America" tweet.
Death to the University of Kansas student body!
The student senate Twitter account and the @KUPresident account both retweeted a September 3 post that said "happy friday everybody. death to america" with a laughing emoji. She shared a different tweet after that that said "The more you read American history, the more the whole "Death to America" line sounds less like a terrifying, chaotic sentiment, and more like a perfectly rational, if anything remarkably reserved, statement."
Ever read any source data, sweetie? Ever read contemporary journals and literature? Ever read anything but Howard Zinn and his many imitators?
The student senate did not respond to a September 8 request for comment.
Did you really expect them to?
President Niya McAdoo told The College Fix that there will be a meeting next week about the social media posts.
Good idea. Form a committee while you're at it.

Government Corruption
Members of Congress and Their Staff Are Exempt From Biden's Vaccine Mandate
[NEWSWEEK] President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. An incredibly corrupt version of Jar-Jar Binks, only well into his dotage. The dumbass who abandoned Afghanistan....
's new vaccine mandates for federal employees don't apply to members of Congress or those who work for Congress or the federal court system.

Biden issued two executive orders on Thursday requiring vaccination against COVID for federal workers and contractors who work for the federal government. He also asked the Department of Labor to issue an emergency order requiring businesses with more than 100 employees to ensure their workers are vaccinated or tested on a weekly basis.

However,
a person who gets all wrapped up in himself makes a mighty small package...
Biden's order on federal workers applies to employees of the executive branch. The House of Representatives and the Senate belong to the separate legislative branch, and the courts to the judicial branch of the federal government.

Trans woman fighter beats woman to submission in MMA match
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Veteran turned trans woman Alana McLaughlin beat a woman into submission in an MMA fight on Friday night at the Combate Global prelims in Miami, Fla.

McLaughlin, 38, used a rear-naked choke hold on Celine Provost, 32, bringing the fight against the biological female fighter to an end after 3 minutes, which was a mere 32 seconds into round two of the match.

McLaughlin, a biological male who was a member of the US Army Special Forces until 2010, wore a t-shirt which read "end trans genocide" as she was named the victor after choking Provost on the mat, according to the New York Post.

For her part, Provost was able to land some punches in the first round before being bested by the biological male, who believes her fighting against biological women is part of a social justice campaign.

McLaughlin praised the efforts of Fallon Fox, a biological male who identifies as transgender and has also made a career beating up women in front of an audience. Fox, who twice broke a woman's skull in the ring, was once named the "bravest athlete in history."

It is Fox that McLaughlin seeks to emulate. McLaughlin said "I want to pick up the mantle that Fallon put down."

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
IDF strikes Gaza targets following rockets launched into Israel's South
[JPost] Mayor of Sderot Alon Davidi gave a statement regarding the incident, reacting by saying that "when there was no response to rocket fire directed at Sderot several weeks ago, when a terrorist who murdered heroic soldier Barel Shmueli roams free in the Gaza Strip, and when terrorists escape prison in Israel - the meaning is one: Hamas and the PIJ do not take over the events, they run them, and decide on the temperature in the area."

"The State of Israel must not allow a situation in which terrorists who try to harm the children of Sderot and the border communities stand on their feet and are not afraid of their fate," Davidi concluded.

"Bennett and Gantz - return the peace and feeling of security to the residents of Sderot and the Gaza border communities. "

The red alert was the second in two days after a rocket was fired into Israel on Friday night in response to the capture of two Gilboa Prison fugitives. An additional two were then caught later that same night.

Shortly before the red alert sirens were sounded, Abu Obadiah, spokesperson for Hamas's military wing, the Qassam Brigade, gave a speech in the Gaza Strip, praising the six fugitives and saying that "Jenin and its revolutionaries and heroes are not alone."

"We will not allow the enemy to overpower our people in the camp, and we will carry out our national duty towards them," he continued.

Earlier on Saturday, Hamas released a statement stating that the escape of the prisoners "revived the Palestinian people's hopes that it is only a matter of time until the West Bank 'blows up' in Israel's face."

Clashes also broke out between IDF soldiers and Palestinian youth near Huwara Checkpoint, south of Nablus, Palestinian news outlet Shehab Agency reported on Saturday evening. Clashes were also reported near the town of Beita, south of Nablus.

Slavery in the North Caucasus Cases in Dagestan in 2016-2021
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Heavily Edited.
[KavkazUzel] Kidnapping of people in Russian cities for the purpose of their further export to Dagestan has become a fairly common practice in recent years. "Recruiters" are looking for potential employees at train stations in Moscow, Saratov and other large cities. Most often, the victims of slave traders are people from the provinces who come to large cities to work. In addition to Dagestan slavery, it is worth remembering that in the 1990s, there was a practice of kidnapping people in Chechnya for the purpose of ransom. The abducted were then also used as forced laborers. If you look into the more distant past, you can see that the use of slave labor was a typical phenomenon in the history of the Caucasus.

A Different View of the European reaction to 9/11
[From the blog No Pasarán] 9-11 Remembered by a Young Frenchman

I also and especially remember September 12, 2001, when all my colleagues mocked me during the coffee break, laughing at my dismay, shouting at the "arrogance" of the Yankees and the "imperialism" of their leader Bush. What is worse is that ... at the time I was not working in an artistic or intellectual environment which is traditionally anti-capitalist, therefore anti-American. No, I was working in a Parisian police department.

Yet a migrant couple in Pennsylvania illustrated Thursday that there is ample reason to temper our enthusiasm over Old Joe’s welcome mat: Shahidul Gaffar, a naturalized citizen, and his wife, Nabila Khan, a legal permanent resident, both from Bangladesh, were sentenced to federal prison for sending nearly $5,600 to Khan’s brothers, who happen to be Islamic State

Counter terrorism ops canceled in Buinaksk region in Dagestan
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] The operational headquarters decided to cancel the counter-terrorist operation in the Buinaksky district of Dagestan, where two militants were killed.

The "Caucasian Knot" previously reported that on the morning of September 10, a counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in the Buinaksk region.

The special operation took place in the forest near the village of Talgi, where a lot of military men appeared in the village itself, local residents said. The National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) has reported the killing of two militants by security forces who opened fire in response to a demand to surrender.

According to sources, those killed in a special operation in the Buinaksky district of Dagestan were identified as Uruj Ramazanov and Eiruz Abdulaev.

The counter-terrorist operation in the Buinaksk region has been lifted, with reference to the republic's FSB department reported to RIA Novosti.

"The head of the FSB of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan, the head of the operational headquarters in the republic, made a decision to lift the counter-terrorist operation from 1745 hrs in certain areas in the Buinaksk region of the republic," he was quoted by TASS agency as saying.

The official version of the reasons for the CTO raised doubts among Instagram users, who indicated that the state of the items shown in the video about the special operation, which, according to the security officials, belonged to the killed militants, does not correspond to the conditions in the forest.

The special operation in the Buinaksky region became the second in Dagestan since the beginning of the year. Previously, CTO was held on March 11 in Makhachkala.

A statement released by the UN reads that UN agencies and non-governmental partners have launched a Flash Appeal seeking US$606 million for the remainder of the year to bring vital relief to 11 million people in Afghanistan.

The statement reads that people in Afghanistan urgently need food, medicine, health services, safe water, sanitation, and protection.

"International and Afghan humanitarian organizations are on the ground and can deliver in a rapidly changed context." Reads the statement.

The statement also added that the aid envoys should be provided with the fund and full access to around Afghanistan and their safety should be ensured.

Earlier, UN secretary-General’s special representative to Afghanistan Deborah Lyons had called on the international community to leave politics aside and provide the people of Afghanistan with relief assistance and withhold humanitarian crisis.

Dem Rx is bad medicine — and Joe Biden knows it
[NYPOST] President Joe Biden
...... 46th president of the U.S. Sleazy Dem machine politician, paterfamilias of the Biden Crime Family, the guy who bungled Afghanistan......
’s chief of staff, Ron Klain, gave up the administration’s game by endorsing a tweet from MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle:
"OSHA doing this vaxx mandate as an emergency workplace safety rule is the ultimate work-around for the Federal govt to require vaccinations."

So as with other things — such as the federal eviction moratorium — Biden knows his actions are unconstitutional. He’ll just try to do it anyway with loopholes and gambles that by the time the case winds its way through the courts, it won’t matter.

It’s all so performative and cynical.

Biden isn’t playing to the unvaccinated, who are even less likely to get the shot after being lectured to and insulted by the president.

It’s for smug Democrats who appreciate him lecturing and insulting those people, dividing the nation even more.

Biden could have tried compassion and empathy instead of anger and hectoring. Instead, after his mismanagement of everything from the border to the economy, Biden is trying to lay claim to some moral high ground. Look at those GOP governors, they are "cavalier" with life, he claimed Friday.

NYC jails boss admits 'serious problems' at Rikers Island
[NYPOST] The head of the city’s jails on Thursday acknowledged "serious problems" at Rikers Island, just hours after The Post exclusively revealed video clips of three inmates attacking another and a group of inmates partying inside a cell. Correction Commissioner Vincent Schiraldi said he hadn’t seen the disturbing cellphone recordings that were posted on TikTok but didn’t dispute their authenticity during an afternoon news conference.

"The level of disorder here is deeply, deeply troubling," Schiraldi said after being told what the videos show. "I’m not going to deny that there are serious problems here."

Schiraldi said work was underway to repair an unspecified number of broken cell doors in Rikers’ Robert N. Davoren Complex for young males, where the video that shows inmates dancing to music, smoking and drinking from large bottles is believed to have been shot.

Iraq
Four dead in north Iraq attack near Mosul blamed on ISIS
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Four people, including members of Iraq’s security forces, were killed on Saturday in an attack by ISIS bully boyz near the northern city of djinn-infested Mosul
... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn...
, officials said.

The attack occurred at night in the Makhmur region south of Mosul, the former stronghold of ISIS, a security official said on condition of anonymity.

It left dead four people, including the mayor of the hamlet, at least one police officer and a member of the pro-Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites.
Popular Mobilization Unit (PMU) militia, the official added.

ISIS bully boyz had targeted a PMU position at around 2:00 am (2300 GMT), Salih al-Jiburi, an official from a nearby village, said.

They shelled and fired small arms during the attack, said Jiburi, who put the toll at four dead, including the mayor and militia fighter.

The attack comes less than a week after an ISIS assault near the northern city of Kirkuk killed 13 members of the Iraqi federal police.

The bully boy group also grabbed credit for a major attack in July that killed more than 30 people at a market in Baghdad’s Shia district of Sadr City.

Afghanistan
Yesterday Marks the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 Attacks
[ToloNews] Yesterday marks the 20th anniversary of the attacks on the United States by Al Qaeda, which consequently brought the United States and NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A cautionary tale of cost-benefit analysis....
countries into Afghanistan.

In the early morning on the 11th of September 2001, four commercial airliners were hijacked by 19 Al Qaeda members.

The first plane crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center, and minutes later the south tower of the center was hit by a second plane. The towers were demolished.

The third plane hit the west side of the Pentagon and the fourth one, which was heading toward Washington DC, was diverted and crashed into a field in the state of Pennsylvania.

Nine days after the attacks, the then US President George W. Bush called on the US military to be ready. He also called on the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
to deliver the leader of Al Qaeda. "The Taliban must act and act immediately. They will hand over the terrorists, or they will share in their fate," he said.

When the Al Qaeda leader was not handed over, Bush called for other countries to join with the United States in the war on terror. "Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists," he said.

The United States with the UK launched Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan in October 2001. Troops were sent in and later various NATO and other allied countries joined.

Over the past 20 years, Afghanistan experienced a massive international presence, both military and civilian.

During these 20 years, the war cost thousands of lives.

According to AP, as of April 2021, 2,448 American service members were killed in Afghanistan and over 3,846 US contractors. The casualties of Afghan military and police reached 66,000, and other allied soldiers, including those of NATO countries, reached 1,144.

The civilians in Afghanistan have also paid a high price. During the last 20 years, 47,245 Afghan civilians have bit the dust, and 51,191 Taliban and other opposition fighters have been killed, AP reported.

Civilian casualties, however, were counted only from 2009, because before that year fatalities were not recorded systematically by the United Nations
...where theory meets practice and practice loses...
Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA).

According to the AP report, 444 aid workers and 72 journalists were killed.

Different sources, however, give slightly different numbers.

These figures do not include the attacks on Kabul airport in August in which over 170 Afghans bit the dust as they were trying to leave the country during the evacuation process, as did 13 US soldiers.

The last US soldiers left Afghanistan on August 30, only 12 days before the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

Although the US and NATO ousted the former Taliban government, the Taliban retook control of Kabul on August 15, after 20 years of war.

forces and civilians.

According to a report by the AP, over 150,000 lives, including foreign troops, the Afghan cops, Taliban forces and civilians have been lost.

The report highlights that 3,592 foreign soldiers, including 2,448 US and 1,144 NATO soldiers, were killed in the last 20 years. Also, 3,846 US contractors were killed.

The report also says that 66,000 Afghan soldiers, 51,191 Taliban fighters and 47,245 non-combatants were killed during the war in the country.

Additionally, 444 aid workers and 72 journalists were also among those killed, AP reported.

Reporters Without Borders told TOLOnews that nearly 100 journalists, including 16 foreign news hounds, bit the dust in Afghanistan since 2001.

"In the past 20 years, we saw heavy casualties and even the 'Mother of All Bombs' was used in Afghanistan. Suicide attacks also had casualties. The Afghans were killed on both sides," said Sayed Ishaq Gailani, head of the National Solidarity Movement of Afghanistan.

Although the Taliban government was ousted in 2001, the war did not end. The Taliban become the opposition group and continued fighting the new government formed at the Bonn Conference. The war continued for 20 years.

"The Americans bombed weddings, funerals, meetings, mosques, villages and different places. During the war, Taliban were killed, non-combatants were killed, Afghan army members and babus government employees were killed and also Americans were killed," said Sayed Akbar Agha, head of Shura-e-Aali Rah-e-Nejat.

The war, in addition to taking thousands of lives, also destroyed infrastructure and caused massive economic costs.

"The American soldiers and others came here and some were killed in this 20-year war and the rest went back. The biggest damage was sustained by the Afghan army, civilians and the Taliban and they are all Afghans. They were all brothers, but it was a conspiracy of the United States and United Kingdom, who created the disagreement among them," said Mohammad Akbar Niazai, a Kabul resident.

"The Afghans sustained extensive damage. If the government forces were killed or the Taliban, they all were Afghans," said Mohammad Haroon, a Kabul resident.

The 20-year war ended in August after the US and NATO soldiers pulled out of Afghanistan and the Taliban retook power.

Government Corruption
Travis County DA Garza, Austin Acting Police Chief Accused of Retaliation in High-Profile Shooting Case
[PJMEDIA] Retaliation. Witness tampering. Felony criminal conduct.

These charges are being aimed at the man Travis County, Texas, voters elected to prosecute criminals in November 2020. And the charges stem from one of José Garza’s highest-profile and most controversial cases.
Garza was installed with a hefty lift from Soros money. If you've been following Portland and Seattle, that's why this looks so familiar. Otherwise it's just déjà vu.
On the night of July 25, 2020, a group of protesters
That'd be antifa/BLM.
illegally took over an intersection in downtown Austin. They approached a car as it was trying to make its way past the crowd through the intersection.
Here's the version we saw.
One of the protesters, Garrett Foster, was carrying a loaded AK-47 rifle.
He had every right to do that in Texas.
As Foster approached the car in the darkness that night, apparently pointing the rifle at the driver, the driver,
That's what he didn't have a right to do. Carry, yes. Threaten, no. Simple, huh?
Army Sgt. Daniel Perry, fired his handgun in Foster’s direction from his car.
The right direction, I guess.
Foster was killed. At least one other protester fired at Perry as he drove away.
Evidence the threat was real, matched by video.
Perry was later stopped by Austin police and questioned about the shooting. He reportedly told the officers he fired in self-defense as Foster approached with his rifle pointed at him, as photos taken at the scene indicate. Texas castle law extends to one’s car and allows the use of deadly force in self-defense if the driver believes his or her life is in danger. Perry is a concealed handgun permit carrier, indicating a clean criminal record. He was driving for Uber on the night of the shooting and was released after questioning.

Austin Police Detective David Fugitt investigated the shooting and, according to the affidavit, found that Perry shot Foster self-defense and should not face charges.

According to new court documents filed in the case this week, Garza ordered Det. Fugitt to change his testimony before the grand jury, so that Perry would not be exonerated. This led to retaliation against the detective.
Since he didn't change his testimony.
When Fugitt refused and stood by his finding of justified homicide, Garza retaliated. That retaliation implicates Austin PD acting Police Chief Joseph Chacon and Assistant Chief Ricardo Guajardo, according to the filing and several others in the case which PJ Media has obtained.
Threatened with an internal affairs investigation. Look long enough and you can find something on anyone.
Det. Fugitt is a very experienced investigator with decades of service who has solved dozens of cases. He took copious notes of everything that transpired, according to the filing, including the specific details of the retaliation against him within APD, which came in the form of a threat to his career.
"Detective Fugitt, you're accused of not putting a new roll up when you used the last of the toilet paper! That's a mighty serious offense against your fellow officers!"
An Internal Affairs complaint can lead to disciplinary action against a police officer or detective up to and including termination.

The documents call for an evidentiary hearing to determine the facts surrounding Det. Fugitt’s direct accusations against Garza, which include new evidence and also implicate the two leaders of APD. The documents also note that Garza opposes such a hearing, which Sgt. Perry’s defense attorneys interpret as evidence of Garza’s guilt.
"Naturally, I oppose such a sordid activity! It is beneath my dignity, sir!"
The document accuses District Attorney Garza of felony criminal conduct under the Texas Penal Code 36.06(a)(1)(A), unethical conduct, and violation of Sgt. Perry’s right to a fair trial under the law as a defendant.

Det. Fugitt’s notes, included in the filing, make clear what the lead detective in the case found based on the evidence.

Other documents filed this week indicate that Perry intends to call Garza, the district attorney whose office is prosecuting him, to the witness stand due to the allegations of misconduct. The highly unusual move would likely disqualify Garza from participating in the prosecution of the case.

The 9/11 Attacks Ultimately Proved A Lesser Threat To America Than The Totalitarian Left
[THESEATONPOST] I was in college when the planes hit the towers, studying that Tuesday morning before class in the student union. The woman who ran the student snack bar and I were the only people there that morning, and together we watched the second plane hit on live TV. At that moment, my stomach dropped. After the first plane hit, no one really knew what was going on, whether a small aircraft had accidentally crashed into the tower or if it had been a kaboom or something else. But when that second plane hit, we knew. This wasn’t an accident. Someone had planned this. It was an attack. Suddenly, we were at war.

In the months and years that followed, my classmates and I tried to wrap our minds around what we thought was coming: a generational struggle against jihadist networks that seemed to span the globe, that had even infiltrated the United States. We all read Samuel P. Huntington’s "The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of the World Order." We all scoffed at Francis Fukuyama’s notion of the "end of history." We thought the United States was the only power capable of stamping out Islamic terrorism. We assumed there would be many more attacks on the homeland.

Twenty years after the attacks of September 11, 2001, it’s safe to say they did not herald the defining, all-consuming civilizational struggle we had anticipated. The thing we most feared, Islamic terrorism, did not prove to be our worst enemy or the greatest threat to our republic. The greatest threat, we now know, has come from within — from an enemy who hates America and ordinary Americans at least as much as the 9/11 hijackers did, and for some of the same reasons.

#1  harboring as much hatred for our heritage of freedom and chaotic way of life as Sayyid Qtub and his intellectual heir, the late Osama bin Laden

Not necessarily correct. Our guys/gals interviewed hundreds of AQ and Taliban...and they would state to us that they hated what could be paraphrased as our hollywood perversion...drug dealers...deviancy...that they saw in the movies.

And I am familiar with the writings (Milestones) of Sayyid Qtub and of his travels in the US. Qtub most closely related to the Southern Baptists...didn't hate them...rather enjoyed the Southern Baptist's joy in worship and especially enjoyed the Black Baptist Churches.

They hated the deviant lifestyle the US fronts to the world via TV and movies...and hated our support of Israel.

That said...only Bin Laden, amongst the AQ leadership, was interested in attacking the US in our own backyard...Zawahiri cautioned against it and has left us alone for the past 10 years...9/11 was the brainchild of one man, not a larger movement...initially...not sure now after the most recent disasters.

And what a load of bull this statement lays on the table. While g has a certain perspective...and I understand how g formed that perspective...I have found that I have more in common with the main line Shia (that does not hate me) than I do with the pagan left or the radical leftist NY Jew that absolutely hates me as a Southern Christian. Funny how that works...Israel has no greater friend than the conservative US Christian, yet Israel's cowardly cousins in NY city and Hollywood are our greatest foe.

I guess I concur with the article...our enemies are the ISIS ideologues that infiltrate the Sunni mosques with the literature of Wahab and Taymiyyah and the left that infiltrates the media with their deviancy and hatred of conservatives. It is a strange dangerous world that we live in.

ISKP may scout for Indian Mujahideen leftovers to further terror in India: Intel
[OneIndia] The Intelligence agencies have warned that the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
could scout for leftover Indian Mujahideen
A locally recruited auxilliary of Pakistain's Lashkar-e-Taiba, designed to give a domestic patina to Pakistain's terror war against its bigger neighbor...
operatives to further terror activities in India. The ISIS which has a strong base in the souther states are scouting for Indian Mujahideen operatives who may have got away from the security agencies during the crackdown following the arrest of its top commanders.

An official tells OneIndia that the operations in India are being controlled by the Islamic State Khorasan Province, which recently grabbed credit for the Kabul Airport attacks that left over a 100 dead.

It was the ISKP that recruited over 25 operatives from Kerala. One of them was even involved in the Kabul Gurdwara attack in which 25 were killed. While some of the operatives have died in Afghanistan, Riyaz Ahmed, Mohammad Manshad, Shihas Abdul Rahiman and Mohammad Sajid are still believed to be alive and active in Afghanistan.

The top leaders of the Indian Mujahideen such as Yasin Bhatkal are in jail and facing trial. The founders of the outfit, Riyaz and Iqbal Bhatkal are in Pakistain and have been instructed to lie low. While inputs suggest that the ISI may use the ISKP as a proxy in India, there is a likelihood of the Bhatkal brothers being activated yet again.

The IM could try and revive its modules in Darbanga, Rajasthan, Hyderabad and Delhi and its members back the ISKP plans in India. Moreover the ISKP with the help of the ISI could provide funds, arms and ammunition to the operatives in India, the agencies say.

The fact that the the ISKP could scout for Indian Mujahideen leftovers in India became evident when the Voice of Hind module was busted in Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
and Karnataka. The probe indicated that the ISKP operatives could be in touch with these IM operatives. The arrested operatives had also said that they had planned on carrying out attacks in India. Their targets would be Hindu leaders, places of religious worship, security forces and railway stations.

With the situation changing rapidly in Afghanistan and the ISKP displaying its capabilities of attacking a highly secure airport, Indian agencies say that a close watch needs to be kept both online and offline.

The ISIS has its sleeper cells largely in he northern districts of Kerala. Moreover the intelligence has picked up plenty of chatter and data from the social media regarding the plans of the outfit. It has been relatively highly since August after the Taliban

takeover and the Kabul blast, an official says.

China-Japan-Koreas
Angry Evergrande Homebuyers Protest Against Construction Halt
[Bloomberg] Disgruntled China Evergrande Group customers staged a protest in Guangzhou demanding that the cash-strapped developer restart stalled construction work and urging the local government to intervene.

More than 100 homebuyers in white T-shirts emblazoned with the phrase "Resume construction, Evergrande" lined up before the housing bureau of the city’s Nansha district on Thursday, according to people who attended the protest and asked not to be named because of fear of retribution. They said building of units they purchased in Evergrande Peninsula, a project of almost 5,000 apartments, has been halted since May.

The tension signals that the struggles of the world’s most indebted developer may be igniting social unrest -- an outcome that China’s government will be keen to avoid. Last month, Evergrande said it had suspended work on projects due to overdue payables and is negotiating with suppliers and contractors to resume construction.

Representatives for Evergrande didn’t immediately reply to a request for comment. Calls to the Nansha district housing bureau went unanswered.

Evergrande owed a record 951.1 billion yuan ($148 billion) in trade and other payables to suppliers as of June, an earnings report showed last month. It had received down payments on yet-to-be-completed properties from more than 1.5 million home buyers as of December.

In July, Shaoyang city in central China halted sales at two of Evergrande’s residential projects, saying the developer didn’t deposit enough presale funds into escrow accounts and intentionally evaded supervision. The city removed the ban the next day.

After a rare public rebuke from regulators, Evergrande’s billionaire founder Hui Ka Yan doubled down on his commitment to complete projects, issuing what he called a "military order" to ensure property construction and delivery.

So they can determine the motivation of this (apparent theft) without a suspect, but if he'd said "Allahu Akhbar!" the motivation would be undetermined, amirite?

Afghan refugees in Greece still stuck in limbo
[DW] Afghan refugees in Greece are increasingly worried about their status. The EU's differing and uncertain asylum policies are making it even harder for them to cope.

Evangelical Lutheran church installs 1st transgender bishop
How exciting.
[APNEWS] The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America installed its first openly transgender bishop in a service held in the Socialist paradise of San Francisco
...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964...
’s Grace Cathedral on Saturday. The Rev. Megan Rohrer will lead one of the church’s 65 synods, overseeing nearly 200 congregations in Northern Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, and northern Nevada.

Rohrer was elected in May to serve a six-year term as bishop of the Sierra Pacific Synod after its current bishop announced his retirement.

"I step into this role because a diverse community of Lutherans in Northern California and Nevada prayerfully and thoughtfully voted to do a historic thing," Rohrer said in a statement. "My installation will celebrate all that is possible when we trust God to shepherd us forward."

Rohrer, who uses the pronoun "they," previously served as pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in San Francisco and a chaplain coordinator for the city’s police department, and also helped minister to the city’s homeless and LGTBQ community. They studied religion at Augustana University in their hometown of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, before moving to California to pursue master and doctoral degrees at the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley.

Rohrer became one of seven LGBTQ pastors accepted by the progressive Evangelical Lutheran church in 2010 after it allowed ordination of pastors in same-sex relationships. Rohrer is married and has two children.

The church is one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States with about 3.3 million members.

Trump slams Afghan withdrawal on anniversary of 9/11 attacks
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Former US president Donald Trump
...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons......
used the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks to slam the "inept administration" of Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass. Don't say he didn't warn us...
for its "incompetence" over the Afghan withdrawal in a video message on Saturday."This is a very sad day," Trump said in the message, adding that September 11 "represents great sorrow for our country."

"It is also a sad time for the way our war on those that did such harm to our country ended last week," he continued.

Trump was referring to the end of the US war in Afghanistan, launched in the wake of al-Qaeda’s attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington DC.

Al-Qaeda had been sheltering in Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
-held Afghanistan, and the US invasion toppled the Islamist regime in a bid to find the group’s leaders.

But the Taliban soon launched an insurgency and, after two decades of war in which Afghan civilians paid an outsized price, stormed back to power last month as the US withdrew all its troops.

"The leader of our country was made to look like a fool and that can never be allowed to happen," he said.

He blamed "bad planning, incredible weakness and leaders who truly didn’t understand what was happening."

Trump also lamented the deaths of 13 US troops in a kaboom in Kabul last month during the frenzied evacuation from Afghanistan, and the billions of dollars in US military equipment that was left behind and seized by the Taliban "without a shot being fired."

"Joe Biden and his inept administration surrendered in defeat," Trump continued.

"We will struggle to recover from the embarrassment this incompetence has caused."

Joe Biden Marks 20th Anniversary of 9/11 Criticizing 'Dark Forces' in America Against 'Peaceful Religion' of Islam
[BREITBART] President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier...
marked the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by criticizing Americans for the anti-Moslem anger that occurred in the United States after the attacks took place.

"We also witnessed the dark forces of human nature. Fear and anger. Resentment and violence against Moslem-Americans — true and faithful followers of a peaceful religion," Biden said in a prerecorded video published for the occasion.

The president said that the principle of "unity" in the country was endangered by the attacks but ultimately prevailed.

"We also saw something all too rare, a true sense of national unity," he recalled. "Unity and resilience — the capacity to recover and repair in the face of trauma, unity in service."

Biden released his pre-recorded video, as the White House confirmed Friday he had no plans to address the nation on the 20th anniversary of the attacks.

He began by recalling a friend of his who lost their son in the attacks in New York City and sympathized with the families who lost loved ones in the attacks.

"America and the world commemorate you and your loved ones, the pieces of your soul," he said.

Biden also recognized the fallen first responders and members of the military who bit the dust in subsequent years.

"It’s so hard, whether it’s the first year or the 20th," he said.

Biden concluded by citing one of his favorite poets, Earnest Hemingway.

"We find strength in its broken places, as Hemingway wrote. We find light in the darkness, we find purpose to repair, renew, and rebuild," he said.

Biden, Obama, Clinton mark 9/11 in NYC with display of unity

[IsraelTimes] Three presidents and their wives stood somberly side by side earlier at the National September 11 Memorial, sharing a moment of silence to mark the anniversary of the nation’s worst terror attack with a display of unity.

US Presidents Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. S I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass....
, Barack Obama
My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it...
and Bill Clinton
...former Democratic president of the U.S. Bill was the second U.S. president to be impeached, the first to deny that oral sex was sex, the first to have difficulty with the definition of the word is...
all gathered at the site where the World Trade Center towers fell two decades ago. They each wore blue ribbons and held their hands over their hearts as a procession marched a flag through the memorial, watched by hundreds of Americans gathered for the remembrance, some carrying photos of loved ones lost in the attacks.
Note that the two Republican presidents, George W. Bush and Donald Trump, seem to be missing — the cut direct.
Before the event began, a jet flew overhead in an eerie echo of the attacks, drawing a glance from Biden toward the sky. For much of the ceremony, he stood with his arms crossed and head bowed, listening while the names of the victims were read. At one point, the president wiped a tear from his eye.

Biden was a senator when hijackers commandeered four planes and executed the attack. Now he marks the 9/11 anniversary for the first time as commander in chief.

The president was spending Saturday paying his respects at the trio of sites where the planes crashed.
