[NY Post] - A man who accused CNN’s Don Lemon of assaulting him in a Hamptons bar three years ago claimed that the alleged behavior could be part of a "pattern."
Accuser Dustin Hice made the comments on Monday’s "The Megyn Kelly Show" even as Lemon’s attorneys have fought back against Hice’s lawsuit in court filings, accusing the ex-bartender of withholding texts, deleting social media posts and hiding a witness who contradicted his claims.
Hice claimed in his suit that Lemon had put his hand down his own pants, rubbed his private parts and then shoved his fingers into Hice’s face.
"Anybody that acts like that in public without any fear of what it might do to somebody or the consequences it might have, that’s a pattern," Hice told host Megyn Kelly after she asked if it seemed that was something he had done before.
"I wouldn’t be surprised," Hice added. "He’s protected by the fact that he’s African American, gay man on television and I’m just some nobody."
Lemon is gay and married, while Hice said in the interview he is heterosexual.

[Guardian] Alec Baldwin has urged film and TV productions to hire police officers to monitor weapons and ensure guns used in filming are safe in the wake of the fatal shooting during filming of the western movie Rust.
Baldwin accidentally shot and killed the cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on 21 October after being told the gun he was rehearsing with on the film set in New Mexico was "cold", or safe to use, according to the Santa Fe county sheriff’s office.
"Every film/TV set that uses guns, fake or otherwise, should have a police officer on set, hired by the production, to specifically monitor weapons safety," the actor posted to Twitter on Monday. The account has since been made private, but the message was also placed on the actor’s Instagram account.

Lots of cops have worked as consultants on film shoots (oops, I didn't mean for a pun there) usually for the purpose of making sure police procedure details are accurate. Most of them are detectives. Many of them may have never fired their weapon anywhere but on the PC range at qualifying time (many of them hate having to qualify to keep their jobs) How many of them do you think want to be responsible for people like Alec Baldwin handling a gun?

Several gun blogs have pointed out that NRA's Eddie Eagle program to teach school kids gun safety could have given Alec the knowledge he needed to avoid this catastrophe. Of course, the "education mafia" wants nothing to do with gun safety being taught in "their schools."

Interesting glimpse into Baldwin and the elite mindset, no? Putting on the costume automatically gives that person all the necessary skills hollywood's stereotypes require of said costume. As we know when a person points and aims a firearm at a person, pulls the trigger and kills a person without intending to do so, that is called Negligent Homicide.
At a minimum, if convicted of negligent homicide in New Mexico, a person must be charged with a 4th degree felony (or more), spend up to 18 months in jail (or More) and fined up to $5,000 in penalties and fees.
The person can also be held liable in civil court for restitution by the victim's family.

At the risk of becoming the g(r)om of Alex Baldwin shooting threads, this happened on a movie set. A movie production is a fantasy factory. Factories can be dangerous if you are not careful.
Every year, movies involving guns get made and no one gets hurt or dead*. Actors point guns at each other and pull the trigger and no one dies... as long as everyone does their job. The critical point is that a live round ended up in what was supposed to be a movie prop. This is the armorer's area of responsibility. In Vermont, a man who says he works in construction told workers at the state election office and at Dominion Voting Systems that they were about to die.

The three had much in common. All described themselves as patriots fighting a conspiracy that robbed Donald Trump of the 2020 election. They are regular consumers of far-right websites that embrace Trump’s stolen-election falsehoods. And none have been charged with a crime by the law enforcement agencies alerted to their threats.

[The Federalist] State Street Global Advisors, one of the largest investment firms in the world, is forcing its executives to snub white men in favor of hiring black, Asian, and other minority candidates to the company.
The decision comes as the company, whose head Boston-located parent company State Street Corporation employs 40,000 staff worldwide, strives to meet its 2023 goal of tripling the amount of racial and ethnic minorities in senior management positions. The new policy reportedly states that white men may only be hired after a panel of four or five people made up of at least one woman and people who aren’t white have evaluated a myriad of job candidates of all different races and ethnicities first.
According to The Times, executives in middle and senior management who do not comply with the race quotas will receive cuts to their bonuses.
"This is now front and central for State Street — it’s on every senior executive’s scorecard," Jess McNicholas, the company’s head of inclusion, diversity and corporate citizenship in London told The Daily Mail. "All of our leaders have to demonstrate at their annual appraisals what they have done to improve female representation and the number of colleagues from ethnic-minority backgrounds."
State Street denied that hiring teams needed "special approval to hire white men" but reaffirmed the company’s goal of elevating certain races and ethnicities above others and "hold ourselves accountable for strengthening black and Latinx owned businesses."
"We work to ensure a level playing field for candidates of all backgrounds and ensure that our hiring decisions are well informed and not-biased in order to select the best candidate for every job," a spokesperson said in a statement. "...State Street is committed to inclusion diversity and equity, we believe it to be a critical component of our business success, as such; we expect our hiring managers to have the best possible slate of candidates for their open positions."

The Israeli military struck a number of sites in western Syria in a rare early evening attack on Monday, Syrian state media reported.
According to the Syrian military, the strikes hit targets in the area of Homs in Western Syria and around Tartus, along the Mediterranean coast. One of the targets was located at the Shayrat Airport near Homs.
Syrian state media outlet SANA reported that two Syrian soldiers were maimed in the strikes, which also caused "material losses."
The opposition-linked Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the targets were Iranian-controlled weapons caches.
There was no comment from the Israel Defense Forces, in line with its policy of ambiguity regarding its activities in Syria.
This was the third attack attributed to Israel in the past week and a half, and at least the sixth in the past month, marking a clear uptick in the number of strikes allegedly carried out by the Israeli military. According to the Syrian military, Monday’s attack was conducted at 7:16 p.m., an irregular time for an alleged Israeli strike, which are typically conducted in the early hours of the morning.

The council said this decision allows over 300,000 more girls to continue with their education.
"Previously, girl students frome grades 1 to 6 were going to school. Now girls from grades 7 to 12 also go to school. Before this decision, 250,000 to 300.000 girls were deprived of education," said Mohammad Sabir, head of the council.

The US Supreme Court ...the political football known as The Highest Court in the Land, home of penumbrae and emanations... is preparing to hear a case about the government’s ability to get lawsuits thrown out of court by claiming they would reveal secrets that threaten national security.
The case before the high court Monday involves a group of Moslem men from Southern California. They filed a class-action lawsuit claiming that the FBI spied on them and hundreds of others in a surveillance operation following 9/11. The group, represented by lawyers from the American Civil Liberties Union and others, claimed religious discrimination and violations of other rights, saying they were spied on solely because of their faith.
A lower court dismissed almost all their claims after the government said allowing the case to go forward could reveal "state secrets" — whom the government was investigating and why. But an appeals court reversed that decision, saying the lower court first should have privately examined the evidence the government said was state secrets to see if the alleged surveillance was unlawful.

The case involves a confidential informant, Craig Monteilh, the FBI used from 2006 to 2007. Monteilh pretended to be a new convert to Islam as a way to become part of Southern California’s Moslem community.
Monteilh told people he was a fitness consultant, but he was really working as part of a surveillance program known as Operation Flex. Monteilh regularly attended the Islamic Center of Irvine in Orange County and has said that he was told to collect as much information on as many people as possible. He gathered names and phone numbers and secretly recorded thousands of hours of conversations and hundreds of hours of video using a camera concealed in a shirt button.
Ultimately Monteilh’s handlers told him to ask about jihad and express a willingness to engage in violence. Those questions caused members of the community to report him to the FBI and other authorities and seek a restraining order against him.
The FBI has acknowledged Monteilh was an informant, and the story was covered in the news media including on the National Public Radio show "This American Life."
Three of the men Monteilh allegedly recorded sued seeking damages and asking the government to destroy or return the information it had gathered.
This is the second case the court has heard involving the state secrets privilege since beginning its new term in October. Last month the court heard a case involving a Guantanamo Bay detainee that also involved the state secrets privilege.

Videos of migrants colonists in Belarus making their way by foot towards the Polish border have been circulating on social media since early on Monday. The Polish Ministry of National Defence published a clip that shows hundreds of people sitting in yellow-dried grass near the village of Kuzinca, where the temperature is 7 degrees Celsius.
"More than 12,000 people [soldiers] are on duty at the border," the Polish minister of national defence Mariusz Błaszczak said in a tweet. "We are prepared to defend the Polish border."
Poland’s interior ministry said they prevented an attempt by the migrants colonists to cross the border.

Nonetheless, wait times for truck driver schools have tripled, a hopeful sign for the future.

They only want to drive. Someone else offloads.They claim shortages but they only want to hire perfections. Older truckers retire as soon as possible. Over regulation and fines companies make truck driver pay. One fine could be $10,000 dollars.I was in it for a while but in one day I was stopped three times. Why stopped again I asked, "they may have missed something". New tractor just purchased stopped and fined. They can always find something.

When an injury sidelined me to a desk job I had an experience with some visitors to our small installation at the time. They were from a large trucking company in the region and looking for truckers. They had no idea about transportation and personnel management in the service, but they had the time to learn. There weren't many transportation people at our installation but they left with the means and skills to identify who, what, where, and how to take their search for employees. Given the 'jab or out', the trucking companies could be picking up a good number of trained personnel if they knew what they were doing. As 'challenging' trucking can be for drivers, they certainly don't deal with a lot of stuff the military piles on top of one's experience.

WHO’s fresh shipment carrying medical aid arrives in Kabul
[KhaamaPress] World Health Organization confirmed on Monday, November 8 that an aircraft carrying nearly seven metric tons of medicines and medical supplies had landed in Kabul last week.
The supplies include medicines for the treatment of 5,000 Afghan children suffering from acute malnutrition and other diseases.
It is WHO the fourth consignment of medical supplies is since August 30 that it arrived in Afghanistan in collaboration with logistic teams of Qatar Airways and the Qatari government.
New US Envoy for Afghanistan Starts Trip to Europe, Asia

[OneIndia] A team of the National Investigation Agency will press for the execution of the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty for faster sharing of information relating to anti-India activities by the pro Khalistan outfits.
A team of the NIA reached Canada on Friday to probe the funding routes for pro-Khalistan groups which have been instrumental in creating unrest in India. The NIA team also discussed with Canadian authorities the findings of the probe against terror groups such as the Babbar Khalsa International, Khalistan Zindabad Force, Sikhs for Justice and Khalistan Tiger Force.
Earlier this year the NIA widened the ambit of its probe in connection with the Sikhs for Justice (SJF). Sources tell OneIndia that there have been a lot of funds that have been channelised in the past couple of months. Over USD 1 lakh has been collected in the name of the farmer protests, the official cited above said.
The source further added that the agencies are looking into the source of funding. While there is no harm in collecting funds in the name of the protests, the NIA is looking to find if money is being collected in the name of the protests, but is being diverted to fund separatist activities of the SJF.
The probe was ordered after the SJF, a proscribed organization arranged protests in front of Indian missions abroad. After the financial trail was found the ambit of the probe was widened.
The probe was handed over the NIA after the foreign nations where the protests were organised did not take action. The NIA after a recent amendment has foreign jurisdiction and hence was handed over the probe. Investigations have found that funds have been coming in from Canada, US and UK. The official cited above said that this money is being collected by the SJF in the name of the protests. However not all is going towards the protests. A good part of it is being diverted towards subversive and propaganda activities of the SJF.
While the farmer unions have decried this action, an Ministry of Home Affairs official said that if funds are coming from abroad, then the agencies have every right to known the source of the same.
The NIA had on December 15 filed a fresh FIR. In it the agency said that the SJF was sending foreign funds through NGOs to pro-Khalistani elements for on ground campaign and propaganda against the Government of India.
An NIA officer said that so far they had summoned 40 persons as witnesses in connection with the SJF case. The NIA is also examining the role of the Khalsa Aid, which had recently provided foot massagers to the farmers who are sitting in protest against the three farm laws.
[JPost] The IDF Manpower Directorate’s "Titkadmu" program is opening the military's doors to teens on the autistic spectrum with a unique approach pioneered by Cpt. Udi Heller.
After years of exempting them from serving in the Israeli military, the IDF is aiming to recruit some 500 soldiers on the autism spectrum by the end of next year.
The future soldiers will join the army as part of the IDF’s Manpower Directorate’s TITKADMU program which recruits autistics into the military.
“Today there are 52 soldiers with autism in the program, and by the end of December, we will have 70. By the end of 2022 there will be over 500,” said Capt. Udi Heller.
Heller, the highest-ranking soldier with autism in the IDF, initiated the program which he says gives hope to the thousands of autistics in Israel.
According to Heller, there’s been an 18% increase year-by-year of those diagnosed with autism in Israel’s education system; 19,500 diagnosed in 2019, 27,300 in 2020, and some 32,000 this year.
That sounds more like evaluators getting better at recognizing the symptoms than an actual increase of sufferers year over year.
And with all those young people diagnosed with autism in the education system, “there’s no reason why there can’t be 10,000-15,000 with autism in the army. We want thousands of recruits with autism to serve in the IDF, it’s not a military of only geniuses,” Heller said.
Israel didn’t recognize autism as a medical disorder for years and the first diagnosed soldier with autism volunteered in 2006. Other than TITKADMU, there are currently some 200 other people with autism volunteering through other organizations and programs like Ro’im Rachok (Hebrew for “seeing into the future”) that helps students on the spectrum prepare for military service.
TIKTAKDMU builds a special track for volunteers with autism who spend six weeks along with specialized mentors who help them integrate into military life and who accompany them throughout their service. During the six weeks, the mentors also meet with the families of the cadets in order to learn more about them.

He could barely speak their names. Just before his third birthday he began to read and type in searches for Dr. Seuss. That was when he began to speak. Shortly after he found that he could search History and Science and everything. The other day he told me it was Guy Fawkes day. I did not know that. He read it in a dictionary. He is a voracious reader. At five he began to learn Calculus from a graphing calculator located at desmos.com. He is nine now and in Third grade. It is no longer "calculator Calculus". He knows the chain rule and can prove it. Ditto the product rule. He knows and can prove the elementary properties of the exponential function, trig functions, and so on. He loves de Moirve's Theorem, aka he knows about Complex numbers. We are now working on the proof of the Quadradic Formula. You be the judge. Does he sound mentally retarded?
Autism is a different dimension than cognitive ability. Some are very smart and some not so much.

My nephew's almost non-verbal 19-YO autistic son is extremely good at minutia, crosswords, Sudoku and complicated puzzles. He can read and write in 6 languages. He just doesn't interact well with people in general.
Maybe one of the reasons the IDF is seeking these folks out.

It isn't that Autistic people are any dumber or 'retarded' but they just process things a little differently. And as a result they aren't that good at socialisation - not picking up the hundreds of clues and hints which make up interactions. OTOH they may view things differently and might see things others miss.
And I would take any claim that 'more people are autistic' with a huge grain of salt. The 'Spectrum' didn't even exist then - only the hardest cases were diagnosed with Authsm while others, more high-functioning, weren't even diagnosed. now they are so of course you have higher numbers.

Correct. You have described ASD exactly. Also, in the past they missed a lot of it and it really wasn't in the DSM. Looking back at my childhood, I never fit in with the other kids. They made fun of me when I started talking about the newly invented LASER. I spent my days in my little Chem Lab in the basement, making pyrotechnic devices. My father encouraged this insanely. Do you really provide concentrated Nitric and Sulfuric acids to a ten YO who has announced that he is trying to make Nitroglycerine? Thank God I failed at that one. Similar activities today would warrant a visit from ATF.
Looking back I can see that I displayed the symptoms and today I would have gotten a diagnosis.
I don't fit in anywhere and have only four friends. One is an Electrical Engineer. The other three have PhDs in Math(Stanford), Physics, and Geochemistry. I have a PhD in Math and was a doctoral candidate in Physics.
I can connect to people, actually. Just special people and one at a time. I am married for 40 years and have children and grandchildren who are my total focus.

I can relate Helmut. I still can't connect easily and when I look at my 2 autistic boys, and how I was back in my childhood I really think I 'fit the profile' myself. Oh well I'm over 60 now - well accustomed to it - still get a little anxious about stupid things but I recognise it and work it out. Good thing my wife is understanding :).
[Rudaw] The Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) representative in Poland said on Monday that their office in Poland will help any migrant stuck on the Polish-Belarus border to return home if they want to, calling on the Polish authorities to treat migrants colonists according to international law.

Commenting on the situation, Russia’s Foreign Affairs spokeswoman Maria Zakharova encouraged Poland to open its borders. "Warsaw took an active part in destroying Iraq. More than 2,000 Polish soldiers invaded the sovereign state to establish democracy. Why not accept at least as many grateful Iraqis today", Zakharova said in her Telegram channel on Monday.

[AlAhram] A cabinet committee tasked with legalising the status of unlicensed churches in Egypt approved on Sunday the legalisation of 63 churches and Christian service buildings that had been operating without a permit, the cabinet announced in a statement.
According to the Egyptian cabinet’s statement on the decision, this brings the total number of churches and service buildings that have been granted legal status so far to 2,021 since 2017.
In 2016, Egypt’s parliament approved a long-awaited law regulating the building and renovation of churches.
The committee to legalise the status of unlicensed churches was established in 2017 by Sherif Ismail, the prime minister at the time.

Loved the perjury party yesterday with the prosecution's "star" witness. He lied about his own behavior, contradicted his earlier statements, agreed with the defense attorneys' every point during cross-examination, and ended up justifying everything Kyle did. Grosskreutz turned out to be the best witness for the defense imaginable.
If Kyle is not acquitted after this ridiculous affair, then we're all screwed. It never should have even come to trial.
By far the most destructive of Grosskreutz testimony to the State narrative of guilt was when he recounted before the jury that at the moment that he was shot in the bicep by Kyle—the moment that his bicep was “vaporized,” to use his own language—his Glock 27 .40-caliber pistol with a round in the chamber was pointed directly at Kyle from a distance of perhaps 3 feet.
All this while he insisted on direct examination that he would never be able to shoot another human being, because “that’s not the kind of person I am.”

The son of Libyan warlord Khalifa Haftar ...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy, so it's kind of hard to describe him as a Qadaffy holdover. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all. Actually, he is, but slowly... reportedly visited Israel last week for a secret meeting with Israeli officials in which he offered to establish diplomatic relations between the two countries in return for Israeli support.

[DW] Investigators from four European countries have made arrests in raids targeting groups behind ransomware attacks, Europol says. The suspects are accused of carrying out some 7,000 cyberattacks.
Seven people suspected of carrying out global cyberattacks on businesses and institutions have been arrested since February in an international operation, European Sherlocks said on Monday.
Officials said two people were arrested in Romania last Thursday, while five others were detained in other countries earlier. The two Romanians alone are alleged to have carried out 5,000 cyberattacks from a total of 7,000 under investigation in Europe.
The alleged attacks used ransomware, a type of software that locks up the contents of targeted computers until the owners pay money. The suspects are said to have procured millions of euros through their crimes.
WHAT IS THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATION?
Eurojust, an EU agency dealing with judicial cooperation, said German, French, Romanian and Swiss teams took part in the recent European raids, which formed part of an international investigation called GoldDust. The US and 16 other countries are involved in the probe.
The groups targeted include the Russian-based gang REvil, also known as Sodinokibi, and the ransomware group GandCrab, according to Europol, the EU's police agency.
WHAT ARE THE GANGS ACCUSED OF?
"Suspected of about 7,000 infections, the arrested affiliates asked for more than €200 million ($232 million) in ransom," the statement from Europol said.
It said the two Romanians took in around half a million euros.
Eurojust said companies, local administrations, hospitals, schools, universities and courts were among the bodies targeted by the hackers.
REvil, with which the Romanian hackers were associated, has been linked among other things to cyberattacks on the world's largest meat processor, JBS SA.
Two other suspected REvil members indicted by US authorities
Monday saw two other suspected REvil members, one Ukrainian and one Russian, indicted on cybercrime charges in the US in connection with a wave of ransomware attacks.
Officials said the Ukrainian man was recently arrested in Poland, while the US government had recovered $6.1 million (€5.3 million) in criminal earnings from the Russian suspect.

Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe says he provided Special Counsel John Durham more than 1,000 documents that show among other things that Hillary Clinton‘s campaign colluded with Russia to build the Steele dossier, and he expects many more indictments in the case.
“When I became the director of national intelligence, I said, ‘Listen, I want to see all of the intelligence about this supposed Russian collusion,’ Ratcliffe Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday.
“What I found was, and as you’re finding out, is there was, of course, no Russian collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, but what I did see in intelligence documents, some of which I’ve now declassified, that there was collusion involving the Clinton campaign and Russians to create a dossier,” he added.
While Ratcliffe declassified many documents exposing problems with Christopher Steele’s dossier and the FBI handling of it, he said he provided a tranche of still classified evidence to Durham.
“I declassified the documents that we’ve talked about, but I gave John Durham over 1,000 other documents that have not yet been declassified that I know, including intelligence that goes specifically to this criminal activity that would be the basis for further indictments,” Ratcliffe explained.
The effort to promote the Clinton campaign-funded Dossier after officials knew it was false “goes to the highest levels of our government and government agencies involved,” Ratcliffe said.
“I continue to think there will be many indictments based on the intelligence that I gave to John Durham and that I have seen,” he added.

This is an excerpt from the Nov 7 2021 article in The Conservative Treehouse that explains this perfectly.
"Deep political followers will remember well the 2008 Democrat primary between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. It was a brutal battle within the Democrat Party between radical ideologues (Team Obama) and the entrenched establishment old guard (Team Clinton).
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton hated each other.
Team Obama were radical progressives with idealistic objectives to fundamentally change America. Team Clinton were power hungry politicians from a traditional Democrat perspective. The Clintons focused on power for the benefit of their own affluence and gain. In essence, team Obama were true believers (communists). Team Clinton were following their traditional path looking for power and wealth (crony capitalists). This underpinned the primary battle.
As an outcome of the battle, Team Obama won, but the PUMAS were born (ie. Party Unity My Ass).
To heal the DNC scars, although they still hated each other, Obama essentially gave Clinton the Secretary of State job so she could get what was always important, money. Giving her the SoS position allowed Hillary to keep making money for the Clinton Global Initiative, an international money laundering operation selling influence. Hillary accepted and did exactly that, selling influence to gain affluence throughout her tenure as Secretary.
The Clinton-Obama détente also came with an agreement. When Obama was done, he wouldn’t do anything to interfere with Hillary’s quest for the White House. But keep in mind, the underlying difference between Hillary and Obama (graft/power -vs- true believer/fundamental change) was always present in the two camps as they worked deep within the institutions of government.
Hillary used the State Dept as her own little fiat system. The State Dept was filled with like-minded Hillary supporters. When Hillary left the Obama administration at the end of the first term, Obama agreed to accept a personal liaison, Clinton acolyte John Podesta, implanted into the White House to protect her future interests.
Few people have paid attention to the importance of that personnel move.
In the lead up to what would be the 2016 election, John Podesta was inside the White House as an advisor of sorts. However, John Podesta was not advising Team Obama. Instead Podesta’s job was to relay information to Clinton about what was going on inside the White House in 2014 and 2015.
Podesta was there because Clinton and Obama did not trust each other. Podesta, Clinton’s personal fixer, was in the White House to keep an eye on things. I have often reminded people of that dynamic with pictures of Podesta sitting in the wings:
Fast forward into 2016… Inside the executive branch, as the 2016 election primaries were taking place, you still had this Team Obama -vs- Team Clinton dynamic in place. Now however, the Clinton camp looked at their responsibility with an operational objective to get Hillary elected as the next administration.
Team Clinton included the continued majority of administration officials within the State Department. Inside the other institutions of the executive there were also Clinton team members, as well as officials looking to curry favor and advancement for the Clinton administration if she were to win the 2016 election.
In addition to almost all the State Dept officials, team Clinton included: Leon Panetta, Mike Morrell, Deputy AG Sally Yates, Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, and a host of other key workers/opportunists within the institutions like: Lisa Page, Peter Strzok, David Laufman and the entire DOJ/FBI crew who worked on the Clinton email and Huma Abedin laptop investigation specifically motivated to clear Clinton including FBI Director James Comey.
Team Obama always consisted of entrenched loyalists to the bigger cause, and Valerie Jarret ensured everyone stayed focused on the Obama team priority of fundamental and structural change. Obama loyalists included: Lisa Monaco, Susan Rice, Samantha Powers, Kathryn Reummler, John Brennan, Denis McDonough, Jack Lew, Eric Holder/Loretta Lynch etc.
Team Clinton was using the machinery inside government to position Hillary for victory in November 2016.
When it became clear that Donald Trump was going to be her opponent (after Super Tuesday, March 2016), the political weaponization of that machinery now had a target – Donald J. Trump.
Clinton hired Fusion GPS in April 2016 for the purpose of targeting her opponent Donald Trump. The Clinton State Dept officials, Clinton Intelligence officials, Clinton DOJ and FBI officials and Clinton-allied federal contractors now had a target. The “I’m With Her” media were awaiting information to receive and deploy against her opponent. All of the various Clinton aligned internal and external operatives in government began executing the larger plan to assist, protect and advance Hillary.
♦ However, there was a problem – Through the summer of 2016, the Clinton activity was too intense and too transparent as conducted by participants inside government. The aggressive use of the intelligence community was creating a risk. After all, many of the operations being run to benefit Hillary politically were being done under the umbrella of the Obama administration.
If Hillary Clinton’s crew went too far… which they did…. they could be putting President Obama in a position of compromise. That was a problem for Team Obama loyalists and the people who had worked too hard on the fundamental change.
Team Obama did not want to see their successful accomplishments and ongoing objectives put into a spotlight of illegality because Team Clinton was using the machinery of Obama’s administration to target her political opposition. THAT background was the topic of the August 2016 meeting Ratcliffe is drawing attention to today.
CIA Director John Brennan meeting with President Obama in the Oval Office in August 2016 is informing him of the visible nature of the weaponization of government that Team Clinton was executing.
Team Obama then gave Team Clinton a serious slap across the knuckles, telling them they better come up with a legal justification for their use of the intelligence community against Donald Trump…. THAT is AUGUST 2016… THAT is why the Clinton crew inside the DOJ and FBI operation needed to come up with a legal justification for their prior intelligence deployments…. THAT is why the DOJ/FBI needed the FISA warrant.
Following the warning provided by Team Obama, the Clinton team then put together a plan to use Carter Page as a vessel for a Title-1 search warrant that could be used as justification for their pre-existing use of the intelligence apparatus against Donald Trump. The FISA application was put together to justify the Clinton operations; however, the FISA application was weak-sauce…. thus, they needed the Christopher Steele dossier to take the place of a valid ‘woods file’ in the application.
Carter Page was selected because he was a known commodity to both the CIA and the FBI going back to his collaborative work in the Evgeny Buryakov case, and Carter Page was close enough tangentially to the Trump campaign to be valuable.
The ‘Trump is a Russian asset‘ narrative was already in place. Team Clinton had been grooming this false narrative for several months. Carter Page was a part of that narrative, and the DOJ/FBI using Page to get a Title-1 surveillance warrant eliminated the legal issues Team Obama was warning about.
The rest, as they say, is history.
The totality of all of that unethical and illegal activity is why defenses had to be activated in the aftermath of the 2016 election. Getting Robert Mueller and Andrew Weissmann into place was part of that urgently needed coverup and defense strategy. Andrew Weissmann and crew took control of the DOJ and targeted the White House to stop Donald Trump from exposing all the 2016 corrupt activity....
The final accountability you are being provided by the Durham probe is your ability to snark and yell “I toldyaso” at the leftists and political media. That is why John Durham is providing “speaking indictments“.

Three ISIS hideouts were raided in Anbar’s Rutba desert, Yehia Rasool said in a tweet.
ISIS leader Abu al-Baraa was killed during the operation, he added. No information was given about Baraa’s role within the bad boy group.
ISIS seized control of swaths of land in Iraq in 2014. The group was declared territorially defeated in 2017, but it continues to carry out bombings, hit-and-run attacks, and abductions across several provinces, particularly in remote border areas of Anbar, and provinces disputed between Erbil and Baghdad where turbans have taken shelter in a security vacuum.
On Saturday, Iraqi and Peshmerga forces conducted a joint operation to clear out ISIS remnants in Nineveh province. The Ministry of Peshmerga said the operation ended "successfully."
ISIS attacked the Peshmerga forces on the Erbil-Kirkuk border three times in the past week. The forces repelled two of the attacks but two Kurdish soldiers were killed in one incident.
ISIS also grabbed credit for a bloody attack in Diyala province where it killed at least 15 people and injured a dozen more.
Last month, Iraqi forces arrested top ISIS financier and deputy to former leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
In the latest edition of its weekly propaganda magazine al-Naba, ISIS claimed it carried out 16 attacks in Iraq, killing and injuring 25 people.

A few days ago, four button men claiming to be ISIS visited Liheban.
"They entered the house and immediately took the phone. I was very ill at the time," recalled villager Haji Mohammed Hassan. "They tried hard to convince me to go with them, but I said, ’I can't go with you. I feel drained.’ I had a fever and chills."
One of the men spoke Kurdish and the other three were Arabs.
"ISIS button men have attacked us," said farmer Asaad Fayaq. "They have infiltrated the village. They have been patrolling the village and entering some homes."
In the first 10 months of this year, ISIS has carried out 206 attacks, most of them in the disputed areas, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Peshmerga Jabar Yawar told Rudaw last week. In the disputed areas, ISIS has conducted at least 2,412 attacks since 2018. The group was declared territorially defeated in Iraq in December 2017, but remains a serious threat.
Last week, the holy warriors killed two Peshmerga in Pirde (Altun Kupri), Kirkuk. And the group grabbed credit for killing 15 villagers in Diyala province last month.
At a Peshmerga base within an area of Kurdish control, a commander said they don’t have coordination with Iraqi forces to protect the villages. "The Iraqi army is present in this area but no Peshmerga forces are there. The villages under Iraqi army control have been evacuated. We have no coordination with them," said Major Muzafar Fetah.
Patrolling the troubled disputed areas is a "chief concern" of the US-led coalition against ISIS, according to a recent Pentagon report.
Baghdad and Erbil are working to increase their collaboration. Joint coordination centres were set up in the disputed regions early this summer, though both sides recognize these are "not functioning optimally due to a lack of clarity of the roles and responsibilities of the officers assigned to them," the Pentagon stated.
Talks for joint Iraqi-Peshmerga brigades have stalled.
At the foot of Mount Qarachogh, many families are choosing to leave. Just four families remain in the village of Sleiman Pakhshan that was once home to 40 households.
During the night, those who have stayed behind keep close watch over their houses. And in the day, farmers take their guns with them into the fields, just in case they need to defend themselves.
"If the situation continues like that, it will be inevitable that it [the village] will be completely evacuated. Why? If your life is in danger, would you live here?" said villager Sharif Majeed.

The last defendant involved in a fatal crash that took the lives of nine undocumented immigrants involved in a human smuggling ring near the Texas-Mexico border was recently arrested, authorities said.
Veronica Torres-Mendez, 34, was taken into custody on Nov. 3 at a home in Austin. Authorities allege she participated in a smuggling operation that took the lives of undocumented immigrants on March 15 near the border city of Del Rio.
Torres-Mendez has been charged with conspiracy to transport undocumented noncitizens. Authorities said Sebastian Tovar, 25, of Toledo, Ohio, was driving a Dodge Ram when a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper attempted to stop him.
When Tovar tried fleeing, he crashed into a vehicle in oncoming traffic. Eight people in the truck were killed and another suffered serious injuries. All were non-U.S. citizens, authorities said.
In addition, two American citizens were seriously injured in the head-on collision when Tovar struck their vehicle, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said.
After the incident, a Border Patrol vehicle came into contact with a Ford F-150 stopped in traffic near where the deadly collision occurred.
When Border Patrol agents directed the driver to turn around, the occupants inside the truck fled into nearby brush. Agents eventually found 12 non-U.S. citizens who ran.
After interviews, authorities determined the Dodge and Ford were part of a human smuggling ring that illegally took 20 undocumented immigrants into the U.S.
Those charged in the alleged scheme include Tovar; Torres-Mendez; Nicolas Mondragon-Gonzalez, 33, and Jose Eli Rodriguez, 21, both of Austin; Jennifer Oralia Davis, 40, of San Antonio; Ruben Junior Rodriguez-Jaimes, 19, and Eduardo Rivera Benitez, both residents of Bastrop, Texas; Lauren Michelle Malmquist, 32, of Round Rock, Texas; and Marco Antonio Hernandez, of Paige, Texas.
Tovar, Mondragon, Torres, Davis, Rodriguez-Jaimes, Malmquist, and Benitez are also charged with one count of transporting noncitizens resulting in death, among other charges.
The suspects face sentences ranging from 10 years to life in prison.
[Breitbart] Sandinista dictator Daniel Ortega declared victory on Monday in a presidential race the head of the Organization of American States (OAS) decried as the “worst election possible – marred by the arrest of all other viable candidates, ban on reputable election observers, and widespread reports of violence.
Ortega’s socialist Sandinista Front of National Liberation (FSLN) has been in power for nearly the entirety of the last 40 years, staging a “revolution” against President Anastasio Somoza Debayle in 1979. He took an official break from power after losing a free election in 1990, but returned to power in 2007 and has refused to yield to free and fair elections since.
Prior to the current election, Nicaraguan state security arrested seven presidential candidates on dubious charges of “treason,” leaving Ortega to compete only against small, friendly left-wing opposition parties. The Sandinista regime prevented legitimate international actors from observing the election, opting instead for far-left “companion” individuals and entities who lauded Sunday’s election as a success for global leftism.
While the free world condemned the elections as a “sham,” fellow authoritarians like Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro and the Communist Party of Cuba applauded the event.
Ortega’s rubber-stamp Supreme Electoral Council (CSE), the government agency tasked with overseeing elections, announced that Ortega had defeated his hand-picked opposition with 75 percent of the vote as of early morning Monday. The closest contender, a candidate representing the small Liberal Constitutionalist Party (PLC), allegedly received 14.4 percent of the vote. The margin is so wide despite it representing a fraction of the alleged total vote that the CSE essentially declared Ortega the winner without counting all the votes, stating it would move on to tally the results of regional races later on Monday.
The CSE claimed that 65.3 percent of eligible voters participated in the election, a number hotly contested by human rights groups and eyewitnesses in the country. Open Ballots, an independent organization that deployed anonymous observers to illicitly monitor the vote on Sunday, estimated based on its operations in Nicaragua that only about 18 percent of voters participated, leaving an overwhelming majority of over 80 percent disenfranchised, likely abstaining in response to the widespread indices of fraud, candidate intimidation, and repression.
The organization reported witnessing 200 “acts of violence in the electoral context” on Sunday – including beatings of independent journalists – as well as several fraudulent activities such as surrounding voting areas with Sandinista propaganda and Ortega using government vehicles to bus voters to the ballot box. In events where it did not document violence, it noted evidence of violent intimidation, such as the presence of armed socialists, both civilians and state security agents, at voting areas.
Ortega’s regime flooded the streets of major Nicaraguan cities with socialists celebrating their “victory” preemptively late on Sunday night.
Nicaragua remains a member of the OAS despite the organization’s charter requiring member states to have democratic governments.
