[WIRE] Pentagon officials are considering plans to deploy members of the U.S. Special Forces to guard the nation’s reopened embassy in Kyiv as Russia continues its military invasion of Ukraine.
The report comes as the White House remains concerned over American diplomats in Ukraine, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal on Sunday.
"We are in close touch with our colleagues at the State Department about potential security requirements now that they have resumed operations at the embassy in Kyiv," Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said in a statement.
"But no decisions have been made, and no specific proposals have been debated at senior levels of the department about the return of U.S. military members to Ukraine for that or any other purpose," he added. The Pentagon is it ?
The U.S. embassy in Kyiv is currently protected by Diplomatic Security Services, according to the State Department. Oh huh, forgot to mention, many (corrected to a few) of our Foggy Bottom DIPSEC lads are SF or MARSOF veterans. Awaiting input and comment from our own deployed DIPSEC guy.
While the safety of the nation’s diplomats is important, some are concerned that sending Special Forces personnel to Kyiv could escalate America’s involvement in a direct conflict with Russia.
The Biden administration has clearly stated it does not intend to send American military forces into Ukraine. Instead, the U.S. is assisting by sending humanitarian and military support. In the past week, Congress approved an additional $40 billion in support for Ukraine.
The U.S. has also sent thousands of military troops into Poland and eastern Europe to assist with Ukrainian refugees.

Sending SOF and NCIS into the embassy is pretty common. They get there under a few scenarios. Training is the conventional driver and with all the weapons entering from the US it should be no surprise they are in country. Second is outside security. And even though defending the embassy is DSS, bringing in the contractors and building the teams takes time, the SF guys can fill the void.

My embassy comings and goings were very infrequent and now very dated. The only security people I ever encountered were Marines, DIPSEC pogs, and host-nation contract weenies.
With today's facial recognition technology, I suspect SOF people coming in and out of a USEMBASSY (that site in particular) would not be career enhancing.
Could be a Zelensky extraction team.
Just a wild guess.
Extraction like a diseased tooth, as in another US coup if Zelensky continues to be an obstacle to the emerging land for peace approach that's being pushed in various forms by by the Deep State, Macron, Scholz, Draghi

There are a handful of former SOF folks of all flavors in DS including 1 former Unit guy. Overall - out of 2000 - maybe 2%. Former military - prolly 25%.
Embassy reinforcement/security has long been in the SOF mission set. We routinely plan for DOD support in crisis or extreme scenarios. I have never seen NCIS take any active role is embassy security. But hey - I've only been doing this for 25 years...

Clearly there would be a deeper covert threat detection for the Embassy and its staff, certainly the ability to develop intel sources and back-channel confirmations, but I wonder if it isn't just eyes eyes and ears for determining ground truth amidst all the noise.

[IFLScience] For more than six decades, the Boknis Eck marine observatory has taken oceanic measurements in the Baltic Sea — until recently. Last month, transmissions suddenly and unexpectedly stopped. Now, researchers are looking for clues after they dispatched divers to the seafloor only to find the remote sensors responsible for taking data measurements have been "forcibly removed".
"On August 21 at 8.15pm it stopped the data transmission," said Boknis Eck coordinator Hermann Bange from GEOMAR in a statement, adding that at first his team suspected a "transmission error," but divers discovered a much more grim situation when they reached the seabed where the sensors were supposed to be.
"When the divers reached the bottom of the sea last week at the observatory's location, they found only the torn off land cable. It was completely shredded," said Bange.

Pretty old, indeed — the IFL Science article is datelined 06 SEP 2019.
And from WacoInMN’s link:
18 February 2020 / Kiel. Two racks equipped with environmental sensors and installations for a power supply disappeared without trace at the end of August 2019. This equipment was installed by the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel and the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht Centre for Materials and Coastal Research on the seafloor in a restricted area at the exit of Eckernförde Bay. Now, with the help of the survey, wreck search and research vessel (VWFS) DENEB of the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH), one of the racks was found and recovered. It was located north-northeast of its original location, upside down on the seabed at a depth of about 20 metres.
Good work finding the rest of the story, dear Waco. Thank you!

[Breitbart] Whether Title 42 ends or not, migrants say they are tired of waiting and surged across the Rio Grande into the Eagle Pass, Texas, area of operations. As many as 3,600 crossed so far this weekend — eclipsing last weekend’s total of just over 2,800 migrant apprehensions in the Del Rio Sector — according to a source operating within U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Border Patrol officials called in all available agents in Eagle Pass on Sunday as increasing numbers of migrants crossed the border illegally from Mexico into Texas. Sunday evening, a large group of more than 250 migrants crossed near Normandy, Texas, while others streamed across into Eagle Pass.
Another group of approximately 300 migrants are crossing the border as this article published. And at a nearby hydro plant, agents found another large group of 100 migrants. That brings the total to more than 700 migrant apprehensions in a couple of hours on Sunday evening.
Agents identified most of the migrants crossing on Sunday evening as Honduran nationals. Some Colombian migrants also crossed.
Another source told Breitbart dozens of migrants have been waiting for hours for transportation as the Eagle Pass Station focuses its attention on large group crossings in more public areas. National Guard soldiers operating under Texas’ Operation Lone Star also are available to detain migrants until transportation eventually arrives.
On May 17, Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Jason D. Owens tweeted that agents under his command apprehended 2,849 migrants last weekend, Breitbart Texas reported. That number will be eclipsed as it appears the total could approach 4,000 this weekend.
The migrants did not appear to know or understand that the Title 42 will not end on Monday due to a federal court order. They expressed they were simply tired of waiting.
The source stated resources were not available to transport migrants from the border to the processing station. It also appears the NGOs who regularly shelter the migrants are overloaded as migrants are reportedly being dropped off at an Eagle Pass Stripes convenience store.
The crossings are not without danger. On Saturday, seven migrants were swept off their feet in the middle of the night forcing Border Patrol agents to jump into action to save their lives, Breitbart Texas reported.
BORSTAR agents utilized a throw bag, a water rescue board, and a personal flotation device to successfully all seven migrants in the darkness of night, Chief Owens stated.
Not all migrants are as lucky as these seven. Earlier this week, Breitbart Texas reported that Del Rio Sector agents recovered the bodies of three migrants. Two of the migrants drowned and agents found the third on a ranch near Uvalde, Texas.
Between April 1 and May 15 approximately 513,000 migrants illegally crossed the southwest border with Mexico. The number reflects apprehensions cited in the April Southwest Border Migration Report and unofficial numbers obtained from a law enforcement source within CBP.

Interesting photos at the link. I realize that I am decidedly upper middle class, but when the trailing daughters were still in the diaper/pre-school stage, I never went out without a large bag containing a full change of clothes, sweaters or jackets and hats, wipes, diapers and changing pad, a few cloth diapers — terribly useful things, cloth diapers — snacks and drinks, toys and books, crayons and paper, extra pacifier... I am shocked to see a mother carrying a child on a long road trip without even a backpack or plastic grocery bag holding a few necessities. It’s enough to make one wonder if that infant is really hers.

[Interfax] Ukraine has sown crops on 11.84 million hectares, or 82.2% of the 14.4-million-hectare area planned for this spring, including crops sown on 1,94 million hectares on May 12-19, the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food said on Friday.
Sunflower crops have been sown on 3.94 million hectares (80% of the 4.93 million hectares planned for 2022), corn on 4.17 million hectares (86% of 4.85 million hectares), spring barley on 927,500 hectares (92.6% of 1.02 million hectares), spring wheat on 188,600 hectares (99.4% of 189,600 hectares), oats on 156,800 hectares (95.8% of 163,600 hectares), and peas on 124,800 hectares (86% of 145,700 hectares) as of May 19, according to a statement published on the ministry website.
In addition, the areas sown with potatoes stand at 1.07 million hectares (90% of 1.19 million hectares), while soybeans are sown on 728,600 hectares (78.6% of 1.25 million hectares), sugar beet on 182,000 hectares (88% of 206,900 hectares), spring rapeseed on 28,400 hectares (95.3% of 29,800 hectares), millet on 32,100 hectares (51.5% of 62,300 hectares) and buckwheat on 37.400 hectares (46% of 81,600 hectares).
"The sowing is continuing in Ukraine. Spring wheat has been sown on almost 98% of the planned area," the ministry said.
Winter crops were sown on 7.7 million hectares in 2021, including 6.5 million hectares of wheat, one million hectares of barley, and 0.16 million hectares of rye.
As reported earlier, Ukraine will reduce the sowing of highly marginal crops (sunflower and corn) this year, while increasing the area under simpler crops that are more important for food security - peas, barley and oat.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on April 20 that Ukraine would sow crops on approximately 14.2 million hectares this year, which is 80% of 16.9 million hectares sown with crops last year.
Earlier, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food estimated the spring 2022 sowing at 13.44 million hectares, as against 16.92 million hectares in 2021.
Deputy chief of staff of the Ukrainian presidential office Rostyslav Shurma said that Ukraine was aiming at a 2022 harvest of at least 70% of the previous amounts. Little bit of good news.
Don't know how they plan to ship the excess since the winter wheat crop is still stuck in Odessa.

At least some of the current shortages are due to panic buying and hoarding in response to all the scare stories about coming shortages.
I own that my household is currently keeping our cars fully gassed up at all times instead of waiting until the last quarter tank, and for certain grocery items we grab a couple extra when we see them restocked on the shelves, just in case. If many are acting as I am, that would be enough to create the appearance of shortages, just as during rush hour one driver tapping on the breaks ripples into a traffic jam.
Add that to this link from February, courtesy of Thing From Snowy Mountain, and it’s easy to see how a complete lack of shortage in supply can be turned into a dramatic shortage in the shops and, yes, killing starvation for the poor in poorer countries:
It’s the job of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg (or however he spells it) to straighten out such little problems, but he’s been on parental leave with his new baby, and so hasn’t been working the problem. Not that him being in the office would have had better results, despite having reached the level of lieutenant in Naval Intelligence before going in for politics...

Just stopped at the grocery store on the way back from other errands and I have to say, compared to the empty shelves and "two per customer" signs that were everywhere during COVID, I'm just not seeing it now. Prices are up, though, for sure.

That first shipment is a specialized variety for non-standard needs. That won’t impact the rest of the bottle-fed population, and those babies weren’t competing for the regular stuff anyway.
#5
According to the article, these shipments are for babies with cow’s milk protein allergies, and will supply 15% of that specific need — normal babies are out of luck. Abbott said they’ll be restarting production at the Michigan factory at the beginning of June, and in the meantime have been shipping in product from their facilities in Ireland, which were already FDA approved.
I imagine lots of babies are being started on solid food earlier than originally intended.
[FoxNews] A Florida sheriff is applauding his deputies after they saved a 9-year-old boy from a house fire, saving his life in the nick of time.
Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister and his deputies Alexander Maldonado and Kevin Reich joined "Fox & Friends First" recalling the heroic act that saved the child's life.
"It's their quick actions, their bravery, the fact that they never gave up on that child, trying to give them every opportunity to survive," Sheriff Chronister told co-host Todd Piro. "It's their heroic actions is the reason that this child is alive today."
"You can talk about all the training, the tools, the equipment, but it's their big hearts, the fact they never gave up, that's why we're celebrating a win today," he continued.
The house fire took place in Seffner, Florida, on Thursday night. When the deputies arrived on the scene, they were told a child was still inside the home, already engulfed in flames.
Maldonado and Reich were able to break a window, entering the home and rescuing the young boy.
"Alex was the one that located the boy just inside the bedroom," Reich said. "I was able to hear him from the other side of the residence that he had located the boy, and at that time, we went to work and made sure that we got him out of there safely."
"That room was completely full of smoke," he continued. "So every minute counts at that point. Every second counts."
[LI] The treatment of University of Central Florida professor Charles Negy was one of, if not the, most egregious abuses of power in the dozens of ’cancel culture’ cases we’ve seen. The short version is that shortly after the George Floyd death and in the midst of nationwide protests and riots, Negy made tweets from his personal Twitter account
One tweet, which no longer is available, said:
"If Afr. Americans as a group, had the same behavioral profile as Asian Americans (on average, performing the best academically, having the highest income, committing the lowest crime, etc.), would we still be proclaiming ’systematic racism’ exists?"
A second tweet, also no longer available, said:
"Black privilege is real: Besides affirm. action, special scholarships and other set asides, being shielded from legitimate criticism is a privilege. But as a group, they’re missing out on much needed feedback."
The tweets caused student protests, threats, and administrative retribution. There was a Change.org petition with over 30,000 signatures, a Twitter hashtag was launched (#UCFFireHim) that trended, the student Senate passed a resolution, and there were protests on campus in which the President participated.

Speaking the truth frequently upsets the people involved.
The Fed started the much needed and overdue Affirmative Action policies using Civil Rights Act of 1964.
That was 58 years ago or 3+ generations ago to right a great wrong.
In doing so like any "We from the gov and here to help..." disasters in the making. It found the usual solution, throw $$$$ at it, for votes.
So after 58 years and all the open doors, grants, and freebies handed out, what has it accomplished?
Many say look at the 2022 Black Community status:
High abortion rates,
High drug addiction rates,
High crimes rates,
High poverty rates,
High unwed mother rates,
Low educational accomplishment rates
and etc.
Is this the results of Government helping or a hidden form of Alternative RACISM.
The Black American Community needs another MLK jr. and NOT a bunch of race pimping for $$$$ reverends and politicians for votes.
[Breitbart] Answers were split to the question of whether respondents were "pro-life" or "pro-choice," as 27 percent identified as "pro-life," while 35 percent said "pro-choice," and 23 percent said "both."
Similarly, respondents were split on when they believe abortion should be illegal, as 11 percent said it should "never be allowed," and 29 percent said it should only be legal in special circumstances such as preserving the life of the mother. Another 31 percent said abortion should be legal with some restrictions, such as late term abortion, and 29 percent said it should be legal with no restrictions whatsoever.
However, when it comes to what people believe abortion is, specifically, a plurality — 45 percent — acknowledge that abortion is the "same as murdering a child." Of those, 30 percent "strongly agree" and 15 percent "somewhat agree." Forty-three percent feel otherwise, including 30 percent who "strongly" disagree and 13 percent who "somewhat" disagree.
Most Democrats, 61 percent, do not agree that abortion is the same as murdering a child, and 43 percent of independents hold the same sentiment. The majority of Republicans, 67 percent, believe that abortion is the same as murdering a child, and 44 percent of independents agree.
The survey was taken May 15-17, 2022, among 1,500 U.S. adult citizens, and comes as pro-abortion activists continue to protest in reaction to the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade, which, if it becomes final, would give the power to determine abortion laws back to the states.
A Convention of States Action/Trafalgar Group poll released this week also found that a plurality of likely voters say they trust their governor and state legislature to decide abortion laws, rather than the federal government.

[Breitbart] White House COVID-19 response coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha said Sunday on ABC’s "This Week" that Americans should be wearing a mask in crowded indoor spaces to combat the current coronavirus surge.
Anchor Martha Raddatz said, "We have the daily case number more than 100,000, I know you think the number is actually higher because of home testing, so what is your advice in these high transmission areas?"
Jha said, "First and foremost, my advice is, if you have not gotten vaccinated in the last five months, if you have not gotten boosted, now is a good time to do it. What we know is vaccines continue to provide a high level of protection against people getting seriously ill. That’s advice number one. Advice number two, I agree with Mayor Adams that when you’re in an indoor space, you should be wearing a mask. Crowded indoor places, high transmissions, people should be doing that. People have access to masks, vaccines, and therapeutics and testing."
He added, "We have a lot of infections out there because it’s still quite disruptive, and 300 people a day are still dying of this disease. That’s way too much. What I would say is we’ve certainly started really breaking that link between infections and deaths through two mechanisms, one, by getting people vaccinated and boosted, and secondly, by making therapies widely available. Those therapies really help a lot. Despite how many infections there are, death numbers are still relatively low. We’ve got to keep working on it."

[Breitbart] A mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter stopped a man apparently fighting with a Porter County Sheriff’s Office patrolman but said the incident did not faze him.
The moment Valparaiso, Indiana, resident William Cassoday rushed over to assist patrolman Jamison Smith, his experience as a fighter and skills from earning a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu came in handy, Lake Geneva Regional News reported Wednesday.
MMA is described as a full-contact combat sport involving different techniques and skills from other combat sports that are used in competitions, according to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) website.
"Stuff like that doesn’t bother me," Cassoday recalled of what happened. He was in the car with his wife when he saw the officer parked on Swanson Road, conversing with someone.
He saw the man "swinging at the cop," Cassoday explained, adding he immediately pulled over and ran to the scene but was careful not to surprise the officer.
[Unlimited Hangout] Two corrupt companies were in rocky financial territory just a few weeks ago. Now, with concerns over a global monkeypox outbreak being hyped by media and global health organizations alike, the worries — and sins — of these two firms are quickly being forgotten.
In recent days, concern over a global outbreak of monkeypox, a mild disease related to smallpox and chickenpox, has been hyped in the media and health ministries around the world, even prompting an emergency meeting at the World Health Organization (WHO). For some, fears have centered around monkeypox being the potential "next pandemic" after Covid-19. For others, the fear is that monkeypox will be used as the latest excuse to further advance draconian biosecurity policies and global power grabs.
Regardless of how the monkeypox situation plays out, two companies are already cashing in. As concern over monkeypox has risen, so too have the shares of Emergent Biosolutions and SIGA Technologies. Both companies essentially have monopolies in the US market, and other markets as well, on smallpox vaccines and treatments. Their main smallpox-focused products are, conveniently, also used to protect against or treat monkeypox as well. As a result, the shares of Emergent Biosolutions climbed 12% on Thursday, while those of SIGA soared 17.1%.
For these companies, the monkeypox fears are a godsend, specifically for SIGA, which produces a smallpox treatment, known by its brand name TPOXX. It is SIGA’s only product. While some outlets have noted that the rise in the valuation of SIGA Technologies has coincided with recent concerns about monkeypox, essentially no attention has been given to the fact that the company is apparently the only piece of a powerful billionaire’s empire that isn’t currently crumbling.
That billionaire, "corporate raider" Ron Perelman, has deep and controversial ties to the Clinton family and the Democratic party as well as troubling ties to Jeffery Epstein. Aside from his controlling stake in SIGA, Perelman has recently made headlines for rapidly liquidating many of his assets in a desperate bid for cash.

ATLANTA (AP) — A man stabbed and killed a pastor who was ministering to him in his Georgia home, then put her body in a van and set it on fire, police said.
The Rev. Marita Harrell, 57, was a wife and mother of two and went into the ministry later in life. She was a senior pastor at Connections at Metropolitan United Methodist Church.
Christopher Devonta Griggs, 27, is charged with murder. Griggs attacked Harrell on Wednesday in his DeKalb County home, police told media outlets. It wasn't known if he had a lawyer.
Harrell's body was found in the burned van several miles from her home the day after she was killed.
The senior pastor of Rivertown United Methodist Church , where Harrell served from 2016 to 2018, wrote on Facebook his hearts and the hearts of his congregation were broken.
[Bloomberg] The world’s richest nation is waking up to an unpleasant and unfamiliar sensation: It’s getting poorer.
Americans’ collective net worth had been climbing at a dizzying rate for the past two years, even as families and businesses contended with the ravages of Covid-19. Households piled up an extra $38.5 trillion from early 2020 to the end of last year, bringing their collective net worth to a record $142 trillion, the Federal Reserve estimates.
Just as the US is learning to live with the virus and spending shifts back toward pre-pandemic normal, it faces a new scary threat: A plunge in wealth since the start of 2022 that JPMorgan Chase & Co. estimates totals at least $5 trillion -- and could reach $9 trillion by year-end.
So far, the richest Americans have borne the brunt, with US billionaire fortunes down almost $800 billion since their peak amid the sharp losses in stocks, crypto and other financial assets. But surging interest rates are also starting to rattle the housing market, where middle- and working-class families have the bulk of their wealth.
It all adds up to the sudden removal of a major prop to confidence: ever-bigger nest eggs. And it’s by design. To stamp out the highest inflation in decades, the Fed needs Americans to curb their spending, even if it requires an economic slowdown to get there.

[Sydney Herald] London: The World Health Organisation said it expects to identify more cases of monkeypox as it expands surveillance in countries where the disease is not typically found.
As of Sunday, 92 confirmed cases and 28 suspected cases of monkeypox have been reported from 12 member states that are not endemic for the virus, the UN agency said, adding it will provide further guidance and recommendations in coming days for countries on how to mitigate the spread of monkeypox.
"Available information suggests that human-to-human transmission is occurring among people in close physical contact with cases who are symptomatic", the agency added.

There are some good reads on Monkey Pox, where its from, and how it transmits. We did have 50 plus folks in the US get it a few years ago. Transmitted from monkeys, to animals in pet stores, to prairie dogs, and on to hunters in the mid West. While it is related to small pox and chicken pox, it is not as deadly as we are being led to believe. This is why they tout infection rates not death rates. The transmissibility rate on this virus is very low, I think the term is RA (?), but it sits at a 1 on their scale. To compare with COVID, which sits at a 7 to 10 on the scale. So it does not scale to be pandemic in quality of transmission. That also explains the initial groups getting it. Close proximity, fluid sharing, etc... Its not a gay mans disease BL, and knowledge, not finger pointing is what we need here. The shot for this is again, experimental because it was not tested on humans, only animals. This because there were not enough people willing to do the test groups. The vaccine is a but more dangerous with side effects than acceptable. All in all this is not a great problem.

“Apparently this strain of Monkeypox is a pain in the ass”. That comment “stinks”. LOL
Bertie Lumumba1577, since it was reported yesterday that some of those contracting the disease were bisexual, from my perspective it appears more a disease of promiscuous men behaving carelessly... and as no doubt women are already being caught up in it, a straightforward disease of promiscuity, like body lice or things no longer cured by penicillin.
TOKYO (AP) — President Joe Biden said Monday that the U.S. would intervene militarily if China were to invade Taiwan, in one of the most forceful and overt statements in support of Taiwan in decades.
Biden said the burden to protect the self-ruled island was "even stronger" after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Speaking at a news conference in Tokyo, Biden said, "That’s the commitment we made." He said an effort by China to use force against Taiwan would "just not be appropriate," saying it "will dislocate the entire region and be another action similar to what happened in Ukraine."
Under the "One China" policy, the U.S. recognizes Beijing as the government of China and doesn’t have diplomatic relations with Taiwan. However, it maintains unofficial contacts with Taiwan, including a de facto embassy in Taipei, the capital. The U.S. also supplies military equipment for the island’s defense.

How will he fight the Communist China with 3,134,000+ soldiers and is less than 100 miles away from their goal target. Vs. US 1,832,000 8,000 miles away?
Logistically right now the Biden Coup/LSD's has overspent the USA by $34 Trillion. The LSD's can't even feed its own population, let alone fight WW-III?
100 miles of a very rough strait. The Chinese would need nearly all of their 2 million man army to fully conquer Taiwan. They only have the transport capability to put 30,000 on the island. That is just men, no tanks, APCs, supplies, SAMs, etc. So with everything they need they can only dump maybe a mechanized battalion per trip.
Not to mention that the buildup would be noticed 60 days before the invasion, Taiwan would call its reserves, more weapons would be sent, the few beaches that can be landed on would be fortified to hell and back and the ports mined. Not to mention the invasion has to happen in April or October. Only really times that the weather and sea is guaranteed to be cooperative.
I think China uses Taiwan as a quick way to boost popularity, but would only seriously consider an invasion if they had no other choice to keep face, aka the US recognize Taiwan as independent and put soldiers on it.

"You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you" - Leon Trotsky
Just remember all the crap of the last twenty years, unlike other places Taiwan is a long established democracy. Probably far more of a democracy than we are.
[Red State] Joe Biden is in South Korea to talk about strengthening economic ties. But Joe being Joe, the visit has had its confusing moments. Indeed, the confusion started from the moment Joe touched down. He got off Air Force One wearing a mask, walking down the steps by himself with it on. But then, just as he got close to another person to greet him, he ripped it off. Someone is going to have to explain this to me because I look at it and all I think is his brain is no longer there. Either that or someone told him you can catch COVID from walking down airplane steps by yourself outside. Peak absurdity.

Joe's foreign policy is in flames. By the way, what happened to Ukraine? It's almost completely disappeared from US and British news coverage.
Looks like the combined weight of ceasefire calls by the Democrats (via the New York Times Editorial Board), Lloyd Austin, Macron, Schulz and Draghi are having their effect on the press.
Poor Ukrainians... the Telegraph editors quote the Times editors and write, "'a decisive military victory for Ukraine over Russia, in which Ukraine regains all the territory Russia has seized since 2014, is not a realistic goal,' the newspaper wrote.
"Ultimately, it said: 'It will be Ukrainian leaders who will have to make the painful territorial decisions that any compromise will demand.' Officials in Kyiv reacted with unconcealed fury.
What's prompting the 180 degree turnaround? The stock market crash?

Politicians in the West are seeing that this pointless war is putting everything at risk. Not just the nuclear threat but the entire economic stability of the Western world. France, Italy and Germany see the U.K. suffocating from high fuel and food costs and want to prevent the same thing happening in their countries.
Also, Macron and Scholz are alarmed at the possibility that two large East European countries in the EU (Poland and Ukraine) could shift the EU Center of gravity away from Paris and Berlin. Macron and Scholz want to stifle any kind of Warsaw-Kyiv axis before it is born.
Everyone except Zelensky wants the war to end quickly, with a pragmatic trade of land for peace.

They figured that out long ago. Lloyd Raytheon Austin & Co. waited until the MIC porkfest bill was passed, and then they promptly pivoted and shafted Biden (and Ukraine). The goal was never to "win." The goal is to line their pockets while they can, then bug out.

Come November, the Republicans will look at the electoral success of JD ("I don't really care what happens to Ukraine") Vance -- and recognize that, as Americans' wealth dissipates and gas reaches $10 for unleaded, the winning platform is to cut Ukraine loose and stop shoveling our shrinking resources into that money pit.

Exactly so. Beltway and MSM reactions prior to Vamce's decisive victory in the primary election:
"JD Vance's repulsive spin"
"JD Vance is as vile as it gets..."
"General McCaffery Calls Vance 'Russian Stooge'"
"Vance Scrambles to Prove He's Not a Russian Stooge"
"JD Vance's Apathy toward Ukraine is Backfiring"
'Backfiring,' LOL. He just won the primary by more than a ten-point margin in a crowded field. (No, Trump didn't help him much -- Trump botched his name and called him "JD Mandel.")

Make hay while the sun shines. And the sun is always shining somewhere for the MIC and Raytheon-Austin.
When the sun sets on Iraq, it shines on Syria, Libya and Afghanistan. When it sets on Syria-Libya, it keeps shining on Afghanistan. When it sets on Afghanistan, it shines on Ukraine. When it sets on Ukraine, it shines on Somalia...

October 2021: Biden says US will come to Taiwan's aid if Taiwan's attacked. A 'senior Biden administration official' immediately clarifies that US “policy with regard to Chinese-claimed Taiwan has not changed.”

NEW YORK (AP) — Health officials remain perplexed by mysterious cases of severe liver damage in hundreds of young children around the world.
The best available evidence points to a fairly common stomach bug that isn’t known to cause liver problems in otherwise healthy kids. That virus was detected in the the blood of stricken children but — oddly — it has not been found in their diseased livers.
"There’s a lot of things that don’t make sense," said Eric Kremer, a virus researcher at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of Montpellier, in France.
As health officials in more than a dozen countries look into the mystery, they are asking:

[CNBC] Automakers from Tesla to Rivian to Cadillac are hiking prices on their electric vehicles amid changing market conditions and rising commodity costs, specifically for key materials needed for EV batteries.
Battery prices have been declining for years, but that may be about to change. One firm projects a sharp increase in demand for battery minerals over the next four years that could push the price of EV battery cells up by more than 20%. That’s on top of already-rising prices for battery-related raw materials, a result of supply-chain disruptions related to Covid and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The higher costs have some electric vehicle makers boosting their prices, making the already-expensive vehicles even less affordable for average Americans and begging the question, will surging commodity prices slow the electric-vehicle revolution.

House-to-house searches recommenced in Herat. Additional checkpoints have been established, and sources report that commuters are receiving extra scrutiny. Citizens are primarily being asked about their work history and which is their “home” province. It is believed they are continuing to look for former military members and northerners. Afghans from northern provinces are encouraged to conceal where they are from, if possible.

.[OneIndia] Loudspeakers at mosques in Uttar Pradesh have either turned down their volume or been removed, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Sunday and added the uninstalled public address systems are being donated to schools and hospitals, PTI reported.
The chief minister further said there were no riots in the BJP-ruled state during and after the recent assembly polls.
Virtually addressing a media conclave organised by RSS-linked weeklies 'Panchjanya' and 'Organiser', Yogi Adityanath said, "In many states there were riots after the elections were over. There were no riots in UP during or after the elections. After the formation of the government, Ram Navami was celebrated with fervour. Hanuman Jayanti celebrations passed off peacefully. This is the same UP where small issues led to riots earlier," he said.
"Now, you must have seen for the first time that Eid namaz was not performed on roads. Now, you must have heard that either the volume of the mosque loudspeaker has gone down or the loudspeaker has been removed completely. Now these loudspeakers are being donated to schools and hospitals for their use," Yogi Adityanath said.
Talking about the issue of stray cattle in the state, he listed several steps taken by the government to deal with it.
"...when our government came to power in the state, it shut down all illegal slaughterhouses. And then stray cattle were roaming on roads and in the fields. Earlier they were smuggled into illegal slaughterhouses. To meet this challenge, we set up over 5,600 stray cattle shelters," he said.
He said a new system is being set up for producing CNG from cow dung, which will be bought from people at Re 1 per kg, Adityanath said, adding that all necessary steps will be taken to protect cows.
He also talked about the grand Ram temple being built in Ayodhya and the renovated Kashi Vishwanath temple complex.
In every assembly constituency in the state, the government is developing a pilgrimage site, he said.
He also spoke about the economic progress of Uttar Pradesh under the "double engine" government -- same party rule at the Centre and in the state.

Good lord, Frank G — you’re an engineer, so you know that everyone has some value, if only as a machine to turn oxygen into carbon dioxide, giving plants the substance they need to reverse the process.
Not really news to our readers, but it’s nice that the report is finally issued less than a year later.
[Dawn] Many soldiers of the former Afghan government fled to Pakistain after the fall of Kabul, says an official US report while pointing out that the fall of border crossings into Pakistain and Iran ...Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979... also contributed to the collapse of the former Afghan government.
The office of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction reported this week that in July 2021, the Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... "started seizing border crossings with Pakistain and Iran, depriving the Afghan government of critical customs revenues".
The report noted that Afghan soldiers started crossing into Pakistain weeks before Kabul fell to the Taliban in August 2021.
"Many Afghan soldiers reportedly escaped to Pakistain as the Taliban attacks on districts and scenic provincial capitals intensified weeks before the Afghan government’s collapse," the report added.
The UN refugee agency UNHCR reported early this year that more than 300,000 Afghans had fled to Pakistain between August 2021 and January 2022. But it did not say how many of those were from the military.
On July 26, 2021, the News Agency that Dare Not be Named news agency reported that 46 members of the Afghan forces, including five officers, crossed into Chitral.
[NYPOST] Proving that what’s old is new again, here is how the late William Safire began his New York Times
...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... column of Jan. 8, 1996:
"Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that our First Lady — a woman of undoubted talents who was a role model for many in her generation — is a congenital liar.
"Drip by drip, like Whitewater torture, the case is being made that she is compelled to mislead, and to ensnare her subordinates and friends in a web of deceit."
Safire detailed a series of situations where Crooked Hillary Clinton ...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away. Politix is not one of her talents, but it's something she keeps trying to do... was caught in obvious lies, and there is a straight line to the Hillary Clinton whose shadow hangs over the Michael Sussmann trial in Washington. Once again, Clinton is being exposed as "compelled to mislead" and ensnaring "her subordinates and friends in a web of deceit."
And to think she almost got away with stealing the presidency.
It is in keeping with her history that she is portrayed as the off-stage chief conniver at a trial that is, like her, something of a throwback. Coming six years after the 2016 presidential campaign, the Sussmann trial inevitably carries an air of anti-climax.
After all, we have known since the Robert Mueller report in 2019 that the charge that Donald Trump ...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party... colluded with Russia was fake news. And we have known for almost as long that Clinton’s campaign secretly funded the smear merchants at Fusion GPS who hired Remington Christopher Steele who fabricated a "dossier" that was long on lies and gossip and short on facts.

It is said that men use power to get sex, and women use sex to get power. In Hillary's case, I'm having lots of trouble figuring out which men thought she was really worth banging, despite Safire's claim of her possessing 'undoubted talent'. It might mean code for 'chrome off a trailer hitch', but I'm just a half redneck; what do I know?

The power structure does not work as it should," said the British intelligence officer. According to him, Putin is constantly accompanied by a team of doctors, and meetings with senior officials, many of which are broadcast on television, are actually intermittent because Putin needs to be distracted by treatment, "and this has a very serious impact on the management of Russia. 09:46 British intelligence suggests that the same group of Russian troops that failed near Kiev is now trying to take Severodonetsk. According to them, the only company of BPMT Terminator support vehicles operating in Russia has most likely been deployed to the Severodonetsk direction.
The presence of this equipment indicates that the Central Group of Forces, which is the only formation that fielded these vehicles, was involved in this attack. Earlier, this grouping suffered heavy losses, failing to break through the defenses east of Kyiv in the first stage of the invasion.
Terminators were developed by the Russians after they realized the need for special protection for main battle tanks during the Afghan and Chechen wars. The Severodonetsk area remains one of Russia's immediate tactical priorities. However, the Terminators are unlikely to have a significant impact on the campaign, since no more than ten of them are deployed in this direction, British analysts specify.
09:29 The main goal of the Russian occupiers in Ukraine in the coming days will be Severodonetsk, analysts at the American Institute for the Study of War say. They note that attempts to advance in other directions, including Izyum, have faltered, so the Russians are likely to try to build on their limited success in the Luhansk region on the Rubizhne-Severodonetsk-Lugansk-Popasna arc to besiege the region's last stronghold.
The Russians are carrying out an operation to block the land lines of communications of Ukrainians between Severodonetsk and Lisichansk across the Seversky Donets River. Also, Russian troops are likely to strengthen their grouping around Kharkov in order to prevent further Ukrainian counteroffensive to the state border.
09:12 The occupiers tried to break into Severodonetsk from four directions at once, but received a fitting rebuff and retreated to their previous positions, said the head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai. He clarified that as a result of an unsuccessful attempt by the Russians to advance near Oskolonovka, Purdovka, Shchedrishchevo and Smolyaninovo, almost every controlled settlement was damaged.
Between Severodonetsk and Lisichansk, the span of the bridge near the railway station was destroyed. In addition, several people who were taking pictures of military equipment were detained yesterday. The SBU will deal with them, Gaidai added.

According to him, 700 thousand people - "these are all the defense forces of Ukraine, including the police, border detachments, the Security Service of Ukraine, the terrorist defense and others."
07:59 Russian troops deployed launchers of the Iskander-M missile system in the Belgorod region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports in the morning report . The deployment of additional means of electronic intelligence in the regions of the Gomel region of Belarus bordering with Ukraine was also noted.
Near Bakhmut, the enemy has entrenched himself in the areas of Trypillya, Lipovoe and Vasilievka, and is trying to improve his position.
06:36 The Russians are gathering troops in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions and are preparing for an offensive, according to the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW). Analysts noted a high concentration of Russian troops in Inzhenerny, south of Gulyai-Polye, which may indicate that Russian troops are potentially preparing to continue the offensive towards Gulyai-Polye.
ISW also writes that the appearance in the occupied Melitopol of banners for the 220th anniversary of the creation of the Taurida province may indicate the intention of the Russians to turn the occupied territories in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into a quasi-republic like the so-called "LDNR".
04:12 In Ukraine, Alexander Kharchenko, who was appointed by the Russian military during the occupation as the "mayor" of the village of Dymer, Kiev region, was arrested, writes The Wall Street Journal. According to the publication, Kharchenko is a 39-year-old businessman whom the SBU suspects of having passed information to the occupiers about war veterans in Donbass and members of the TRO.
During the occupation, Kharchenko participated in recording videos in which he urged local residents to come out of the basements and not be afraid of the Russian military. Then these videos were published by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. When the invaders left Dymer, Kharchenko remained in the village. According to the WSJ, he barely survived the shelling of his car by Ukrainian troops, and is now on trial in a case of cooperation with the Russian military.
03:10 Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived in Ukraine. According to the press service of the Polish President, on Sunday, May 22, he will address the Verkhovna Rada with a message as the first head of a foreign state since the beginning of the war.
01:37 In Vasilyevka, Zaporozhye region, the invaders threaten entrepreneurs who refuse to sell goods for rubles with "preventive conversations," the OVA reported. The occupation administration of Vasilievka approved the exchange rate at the level of 10 hryvnia for 25 rubles.
In Melitopol, collaborator Evgeny Balitsky ordered from May 20 to use both hryvnia and rubles for settlements, and to carry out non-cash payments only in rubles, the rate is 2 rubles for 1 hryvnia.
01:23 Zelensky called on Ukrainians who are in the rear and who "allow themselves to be carefree or careless" to help the army and not forget that the war continues. In his video message, he called the situation in Donbas "extremely difficult." According to the president, the enemy is trying to attack Slavyansk and Severodonetsk, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are repulsing the attacks.
01:15 The "authorities" of the "DPR" will set the exchange rate, according to which from May 23, 1 hryvnia will be equivalent to 2 rubles (according to the decree of March 26, the hryvnia was equivalent to 2.5 rubles). Earlier, a similar resolution was adopted in the "LNR".

[JPost] IRGC Colonel Hassan Sayyad Khodayari was shot and killed near his home by unknown assailants.
Colonel Hassan Sayyad Khodayari, a senior Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) officer, was gunned down in Tehran on Sunday in a carefully coordinated operation, Israeli media reported.
The approach
Khodayari was driving his car near his home on Mahadi al-Islam Street in Tehran at around 16:00 local time. There, two unknown assailants riding a motorcycle approached his vehicle, rapidly closing the gap between them and Khodayari, according to Walla News.
THE ATTACK
From point-blank range, equipped with a silenced weapon, the two fired five shots at Khodayari, killing him instantly. The assassins were nowhere to be seen and a manhunt is currently underway.
The aftermath
The IRNA published pictures showing a man strapped in with his seat belt with the front window on the passenger side shot out.
The man was slumped over in the driver's seat with blood around the collar of his blue shirt and on his right upper arm.
THE GETAWAY
Reports of Khodayari's assassination began to circulate in Iran and around the world, while security forces in Iran were frantically searching for the assassination squad.
Meanwhile, the ISNA news agency reported that the IRGC had exposed and arrested a network of Israeli intelligence agents.
"In accordance with the Zionist regime's intelligence service instructions, the network tried to steal and destroy public and personal equipment, hijack and obtain false confessions through a network of thugs," the IRGC said.
The target
Khodayari was considered a senior officer in the IRGC.
According to Iranian sources, Khodayari was responsible for attempts to abduct and assassinate Israelis in Cyprus, Turkey and Colombia, N12 reported.
The IRGC also reported that Khodayari was involved in the security of the Shiite holy places in Damascus and that he had a close relationship with Qasem Soleimani, an IRGC commander who was killed in a US airstrike in 2020.
IRNA referred to Khodaei as a "defender of the shrine," a term used to describe those working on behalf of Iran ...They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... in Syria or Iraq.
He was shot at around 4:00 pm near Mojahedin-e-Islam Street, according to the agency.
Little information was publicly available about Khodayari, as Quds officers tend to be shadowy figures carrying out secretive military missions supporting Hezbollah, the Lebanese terror group, and other militias in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere.
But according to Channel 13 news, one of the operatives under Khodayari’s direction was Mansour Rasouli.
In April, it was reported that Rasouli, said to be a member of the IRGC, admitted to Mossad agents, during an interrogation at his home in Iran, that he was sent to target an Israeli diplomat in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire... , as well as an American general stationed in Germany, and a journalist in La Belle France.
Channel 12 reported that Khodayari was also behind an attempt — recently uncovered by the Shin Bet — by Iranian operatives to lure Israeli academics, businesspeople, and former defense officials abroad and possibly kidnap them.
That report also said he was behind an alleged plot to kill five Israelis in Cyprus.
Channel 12 also said that Khodayari had recently returned from Syria, where he served under former commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force and celebrated Iranian general Qassem Soleimani , who himself was killed in a US Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... in Iraq in January 2020.
An Iranian security source was quoted as saying he also played an "important" role in Iran’s military industry, "especially when it came to drones."
The long-running shadow war between Israel and Iran ...Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979... has been bursting into the open in recent months, with more direct attacks attributed to Israel against Iranian targets in Syria and mutual cyberattacks carried out by both nations, threatening to bring the regional rivals to the brink of direct warfare.

The hope was that they would come and become German. Instead they imposed their own culture on Germany. And Europe, England, and everywhere else the current hijrah is spreading.
[DW] Homicide police are investigating a weekend shooting at a German funfair. After repeated altercations between a group of youths and a teenager and his father, an apparent bystander was shot by a stray bullet.
A 40-year-old was shot and killed at a funfair in Ludenscheid, east of Cologne ...the largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia and the fourth populated city in Germany.... , police said on Sunday. The incident took place the preceding evening.
The local homicide commission and criminal police force had taken over the investigation and were seeking more information from witnesses.
Trouble first arose when a group of six young men, thought to be aged between 16 and 20, were involved in what police described as a "physical confrontation" with a 16-year-old.
Around 20 minutes later, the 16-year-old returned with his father to confront the group again.
The six youths, who police described as having a "southern appearance," a term often used by German authorities to describe people of north African or middle eastern appearance, tried to flee but were pursued.
TWO WEAPONS USED IN SHOOTING
As they ran, police believe that two of the youths fired shots, one using a warning and signal weapon and another using a real gun.
"The shots were both had gun sex, and in the direction of the pursuing 16-year-old and his 52-year-old father," police said. "A 40-year-old man from Gummersbach, who was also situated near the exit of the funfair, was hit by a projectile. He later died of his injuries in hospital."
Police said it was unclear whether the victim, who had taken no visible part in the fracas, had any connection to either group.
Police offered only limited information on the young men's appearance, saying all looked southern, aged roughly 16 to 20, with four wearing dark clothing, one wearing a gray tracksuit and one wearing a white t-shirt.

The attack took place on Tuesday in Chantilly when a couple was driving and saw a man looking to hitchhike to the Campanile hotel and decided to help the man by giving him a ride. After arriving at the hotel just after midnight, the couple accompanied the man to the reception of the hotel.
When the man was denied a room due to the fact he did not possess the required identification documents, he is said to have taken out a knife and attacked the woman who was with him, stabbing her in the neck, Actu reports.
As the woman ran to take refuge in a room behind the hotel bar, passersby attacked the knifeman, who then fled the scene. However, the man, who was injured from the blows, managed to only get a few hundred feet from the scene before he was confronted by gendarmes, who subdued him with electric stun guns. Two gendarmes were also injured trying to subdue the attacker.
The incident comes just days after five police officers in Tarn were injured by an illegal immigrant who attacked them outside of a local mosque while yelling “Allahu Akbar!” He was smashing the vehicles and colleagues had already intervened for the first time around the mosque without being able to locate him. He was very strongly excited and shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’, said he had a mission, and threatened to kill officers,” the alliance police union said.
Asylum Seeker Dies After Stabbing in French Asylum Accommodation
19 May 2022
[Breitbart] A 36-year-old asylum seeker from Guinea died last Sunday in a French asylum accommodation in Vergigny after being stabbed by another African asylum seeker, a 34-year-old form Chad, during a fight between the pair. The incident took place at an asylum accommodation in the commune of Vergigny run by the social organisation Coallia on the evening of Sunday, March 15th and saw the two migrants fight with each other before the 36-year-old was stabbed.
The incident comes just over a year after a Sudanese migrant murdered a 46-year-old official at an asylum reception facility in the city of Pau in February of last year. The 38-year-old Sudanese national was arrested after stabbing the asylum worker to death and police later learned that his asylum claim had been rejected just prior to the stabbing.
Just months later in August, a Palestinian migrant was suspected of repeatedly threatening to kill immigration officials in the city of Bordeaux after being angered that his requests for residency in France had been rejected by authorities.
[ToloNews] TOLOnews and other TV channels in Kabul on Sunday followed an order of the Ministry of Vice and Virtue regarding covering female presenters’ faces.
The Ministry of Vice and Virtue named Sunday morning as the final deadline, calling this order mandatory.
However, there's more than one way to stuff a chicken... on Twitter TOLOnews stated it maintained there was no clear indication regarding covering female presenters' faces on TV programs in the recent decree about Hijab by the Islamic Emirate’s leadership.
It should be noted that when the Taliban say Hijab they don’t mean merely the hair-covering scarf, but rather their entire concept of female modesty, ie. only eyes showing...or less. What is being demanded here is adding the niqab, the flap of cloth covering from the bridge of the nose to the chest. What will shortly be demanded is a return to purdah, where only immediate male relatives ever see females, and then only within the home.
In addition, TOLOnews said it "considers images of female presenters on TV as virtual and not the actual presence of women, and therefore stands on its position regarding this matter."
The male presenters of TOLOnews in solidarity with female presenters appeared on air wearing masks.
TOLOnews’ Director, Khpolwak Sapai said that the Ministry of Vice and Virtue named Sunday as the final deadline.
"We have been told to implement this (decision) by the stated time and we did it today. But our arguments are twofold: first, that there was no clear indication regarding covering female presenters' faces on TV programs in the recent decree about Hijab by the Islamic Emirate’s leadership. Second, the images of female presenters on TV are virtual and not the actual presence of women, and therefore TOLOnews stands on its position regarding this matter," Sapai said.
"I can’t breathe nor talk properly -- how will I be able to run the program?" said Khatira Ahmadi, a female presenter of TOLOnews.
"We were not ready mentally and morally that such things would be forced on us. Running three hours of programs with a mask is very difficult," said Sonia Nizai, a female anchor of TOLOnews.
After the Islamic Emirate swept into power, the current Afghan government issued repeated statements regarding women including; closing girls' schools, banning women from going to work, the segregation of male and female student’s studying days in universities, banning women from traveling, as well as the dissolution of women-supporting organizations.
"Unfortunately, the imposed sanctions on Afghan women affects our county," said Suraya Paikan, a political analyst.
The Ministry of Vice and Virtue said the observation of Hijab is mandatory.
"This is not our word, it is an order of God. Covering the face is a part of Hijab. But if the face is not covered, we cannot say it is not absolute observation of Hijab, but it is not a good observation of Hijab as it is supposed to be for women," said Akif Mahajar, a front man for the ministry.

If I had to choose a solidarity mask, it would be a toss up between Nacho Libre and a vintage Gary Cheever’s goalie mask. I don’t think I would last very long on Taliban TV.

If Chicago and Illinois want to live like that, I'm fine with it. The problem is, they exported their model to Washington in the form of Bath House Barry. And while our problems as a nation go back to before Clinton (FDR, Woodrow Wilson, take your pick) the race to the bottom started when the "community organizer" came to town.

Why is the "US" Red Cross involved ?
The US Red Cross aka American National Red Cross, is a US based non-profit that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and disaster preparedness education in the United States.
So why isn't the International Red Cross, aka International Committee of the Red Cross, doing this?
Africans they can get behind saving. Americans? Eww gross. Did you see how they vote? To western leftists, the only bad killing is done by white people. If non-white people kill in large numbers, this is to be expected because they're non-humans.
Remember this principle, it is shockingly applicable over and over.

[REGNUM] On the territory of the Russian North, many wooden buildings of bygone times have been preserved, which are an integral part of the reserved land. For the most part, these are temples of the 17th-19th centuries, which are inscribed in the landscape and seem to be striving upward along with the strong trees that surround them.
The problem is that most of them are in disrepair, and we risk losing this part of our heritage forever. But there are people who have chosen to preserve unique wooden buildings as their life's work, they do it for one simple reason - so that the memory of who we are and what real primordially Russian culture looks like is not lost. It is not in slogans and banners, it is in the wooden walls created by our ancestors, in the cultivation of our land and in creative work that unites people for a common cause.

[RIA Novosti] Assistant to the president and head of the Russian delegation at the talks between Moscow and Kiev, Vladimir Medinsky, on the air of the Belarusian ONT channel , said that freezing the process was an initiative of Ukraine.
He stressed that Russia has never abandoned dialogue at the highest level.
“Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has repeatedly confirmed this. The only question is that in order for a summit meeting to take place between the presidents, serious preparation is needed. That is, documents of a high degree of readiness are needed,” Medinsky said.
In his opinion, the Russian leader and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky should meet to reach final agreements and sign specific agreements, "and not to take pictures."
Slutsky allowed the resumption of negotiations with Ukraine
He added that a month ago, the Russian side handed over to Kyiv a draft treaty, in which a number of fundamental positions had already been agreed upon.
"We intended to move on. However, since then there has been no desire to continue the dialogue on the part of Ukraine. They have not even officially confirmed the draft agreement agreed upon by them. They disagreed that our counterparts took a break. They are in no hurry, apparently. The ball is completely on their side," the presidential aide stated.
Russian-Ukrainian consultations began at the end of February: the delegations held two face-to-face meetings in Belarus , after which it was decided to continue them on a daily basis via videoconferencing. At the end of March, another round of talks took place in Istanbul . As a result, Medinsky said that Ukraine had submitted its written proposals for a future treaty, Moscow considers this a step forward, and in general, Kiev, for the first time in many years, has shown a desire to negotiate.
The Russian side, in response, took two steps towards Ukraine. First, it was decided to significantly reduce hostilities in the Kiev and Chernigov directions. Secondly, Moscow suggested that the meeting between Putin and Zelensky be held simultaneously with the initialing of the treaty by the foreign ministers.
However, later Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Ukraine was refusing its own proposals and creating numerous provocations in order to slow down the negotiation process. In particular, according to the minister, Kyiv presented its draft agreement with Moscow, in which there is a departure from the provisions fixed at the meeting in Istanbul regarding Crimea, and also changed the provision on military exercises without mentioning the need to obtain Russia's consent.
[REGNUM] Kyiv's initiative is to freeze Russian-Ukrainian negotiations. This was stated on May 22 by Assistant to the President of Russia Vladimir Medinsky in an interview with the Belarusian TV channel ONT.
“We (the Russian authorities) ... are ready to continue the dialogue,” Medinsky said. “But I will emphasize once again: the ball for the continuation of peace negotiations is on the Ukrainian side.”
According to Medinsky, the freezing of negotiations with Russia is completely the initiative of Ukraine.
As REGNUM reported, on May 9, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky said that the negotiations between the Russian Federation and Kiev had not yet been terminated and were being held remotely.
[ThePipeline.org] I kind of can’t believe I am finally headed back to Davos after a two-year hiatus. We cancelled and rescheduled, and cancelled, and rescheduled, then moved location…and cancelled anyway. All because… don’t even make me say it—the dreaded you-know-what. All of which I found both maddening and embarrassing. Here we are, the smartest people on the planet… coming together to save the planet and… oops… let’s just cancel, and cancel, and cancel. Like schoolteachers saying there’s no need to teach. I know on this point I depart from my colleagues but let’s be honest; there isn’t a six-year backlog for Gulfstreams because we all sat home.
But never mind any of that… I picked up the slack. One of the projects of the World Economic Forum was to scale-up production of alternative protein sources… otherwise known as bugs. They had committed land and resources to this worthwhile endeavour—the proof of which was meant to coincide with our Singapore conference. But Covid had other plans and neither the conference nor the project got off the ground. Based on stories (with pictures!) from the WEF website, I had planned a series of high-end cocktail parties to introduce these mega-proteins to the glitterati. And only when I went to order, did I find the project had gone bust. It was a near-disaster, saved only by clever little farmers in Thailand and China who had apparently been farming and eating the critters for years.
Deep cleansing breath… and we move on. This year’s conference is so packed full of great ideas—I’m sure this is the reason I can’t get onto the website. I am needing to research because I am receiving one of the Schwab Foundation Awards, and all I can find is a news article saying we have collectively impacted the lives of 100 million people. Hmm. Impressive but truth be told I wanted to see how my picture looked on the site. Also I wanted to see just how many of the 100 million lives the other awardees have impacted.

Back in the pre-WWII days the Three Day Event was a competitive, strenuous international cavalry meet. Now more of an excuse to be a yappy mediocrity, sort of the vegans of the horse world.
Sept. 11, 2001, was “The Day the World Changed.” The 2,977 deaths at the hands of al-Qaeda terrorists led to massive policy changes and dominated U.S. politics for years afterward. The United States went to war in Afghanistan to topple the Taliban, and the attacks contributed to the U.S. decision to invade Iraq in 2003. America began an array of aggressive counterterrorism programs, including the use of armed drones to kill suspected terrorists, indefinite detention at the naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and even torture. At home, the U.S. government detained many American Muslims on flimsy pretexts and implemented controversial programs related to surveillance.
Over 20 years later, the effectiveness of these measures, and the threat al-Qaeda poses, remain hotly debated. Leading terrorism experts like Bruce Hoffman have warned that al-Qaeda remains strong, patiently waiting for opportunities to strike while strengthening its global reach. Other leading analysts are skeptical. Barak Mendelsohn and Colin Clarke contend that “al-Qaeda the organization has failed.” In her 2022 threat testimony, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines struck a middle ground, warning that al-Qaeda still aspires “to conduct attacks in the United States” while also noting that its external attack capabilities are “degraded.” With the al-Qaeda threat perhaps in the rearview mirror, President Biden withdrew troops from Afghanistan in 2021 to end the so-called “forever wars” that sprang up in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.

[Rudaw] A drone on Saturday night targeted a military base housing Ottoman Turkish troops in northern Iraq, killing one person, as The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... ’s offensive against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) stationed in the Kurdistan Region’s mountains continues.
"A drone fell on the Ottoman Turkish base tonight and injured one person who later passed away," Mohammed Amin, mayor of Zilkan subdistrict, where the base is located, told Rudaw on Saturday.
Home to Ottoman Turkish personnel in Zilkan, the base is located 10 kilometers away from the town of Bashiqa in Nineveh province. The base is also referred to as Bashiqa base.
Amin added that the dear departed worked as a chef in the base and is originally from the Kurdistan Region.
The drone attack on Saturday came less than 24 hours after two suspected Ottoman Turkish drones targeted a vehicle in Sulaimani province’s northwestern subdistrict of Aghjalar, killing five passengers, including at least two members of the PKK.
Later in the day, a vehicle was bombarded by unidentified forces in Makhmour camp, which is controlled by the PKK.
Turkey often targets PKK positions in the Kurdistan Region, sometimes causing civilian casualties but Ankara has repeatedly said that it does not target civilians. The attacks are often countered by the PKK.
Several rockets landed on Zilkan base on April 24. The base had been a target of at least four other rocket attacks in the year, prior to April 24.
Turkey-Iraq relations were strained in the wake of the deployment of some 150 Ottoman Turkish soldiers to Iraq in December 2015. Ottoman Turkish troops were deployed to the area on the pretext of training Iraqi and Kurdish forces in their fight against the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Three ISIS militants were killed in a large-scale military operation carried out by the Iraqi army in the vicinity of al-Tharthar lake, the Security Media Cell (SMC) reported on Sunday.
According to SMC, a group of terrorists were spotted commuting in a Pickup vehicle in the north of al-Tharthar lake near al-Sukariyat Bridge.
"Immediately, a Cessna Caravan affiliated with the Iraqi airforce carried out two airstrikes, killing two members of the terrorist group," SMC added.
"Simultaneously, a joint force from al-Jazeera Operations Command launched a search campaign in the desert of al-Tharthar. The Iraqi airforce executed a third airstrike, killing a third terrorist."
"The death of three terrorists was confirmed during this operation. The security forces found a KIA vehicle loaded with explosive material," the SMC said.
The Spanish police dismantled a network of companies in Catalonia and the Valencian Community that finance a militia linked to the Islamic State (ISIS), which operates in Libya, according to Spain’s Confidencial Digital news.
The Anti-Terrorism police arrested three Libyans in Barcelona, Gerona and Valencia. The Ministry of the Interior reported that “the investigation began two years ago when specialists in the fight against terrorism detected the presence in Spain of a person related to the leadership of a Libyan militia, linked to ISIS.”
The Ministry also explained that “after the initial investigations, the agents verified that this person had a business structure that, operating in several countries -including Spain- diverted funds to Libya to finance the militia that operates under the direction of ISIS”.
Confidencial Digital news said that it has been able to access a document from the Spain’s National High Court that provides key data on who made up this militia. Some of its members arrived in Spain due to a solidarity program for those wounded by war.
The Libyan militiamen “would have settled in Spain, at least temporarily, after receiving medical treatment as war wounded, within the solidarity program in Spanish hospitals”.
The members of this militia were all from the same Libyan city, Zawiya, which is close to the capital, Tripoli, and the border with Tunisia.
There were between four and five Libyans who entered Spain in stages. They had been injured during their participation as combatants in the Libyan civil war.
The Spanish police said the four Libyans from the militia arrived in Spain to receive medical and/or surgical treatment in private clinics in Madrid and Barcelona.
The police discovered that a Libyan man controlled several commercial companies with which he carried out commercial operations with Turkey, Tunisia, Libya and other countries.

[REGNUM] Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky said on the air of the Belarusian channel that Russia and Belarus should tell the truth about the Great Patriotic War, the memory of which "stops from a big war."
“We want peace now more than anyone else. Certainly more than the Americans, who last saw a war in their country during the war between the North and the South, a hundred and fifty years ago...
And Russia, and Belarus, and the Russian and Belarusian peoples, which, to be honest, I consider a single people culturally, ethnically and family, like the Ukrainian. We know what a big war is, not from stories, not from movies. We saw it ourselves. We just need to tell the truth,” Medinsky said.
The truth, Medinsky said, is that the Soviet Union during the Second World War took upon itself the destruction of 2/3 of the potential of the united Nazi Europe.
BACKGROUND
In place of the policy of the 90s, when everything connected with the Soviet Union was attacked, in Russia they remembered patriotic education and the preservation of the spiritual foundations that unite the citizens of Russia. The most important place was occupied by the memory of the victory in the Great Patriotic War as a manifestation of mass patriotism and heroism of the Soviet people.
At the same time, attempts to distort military history continue both on the part of foreign journalists, historians and artists, and within Russia. A RANEPA survey in 2015 showed that 60 percent of Russian citizens notice such distortions in the domestic media, and 82.5 percent in the foreign press.
A particularly fierce struggle against the legacy of the Great Patriotic War is being waged in countries that directly or indirectly support fascist ideas: primarily in Ukraine and the Baltic states.
#1
Yes, let's forget the partition of Poland between Hitler and Stalin. Stalin's annexation of the Baltic States and the invasion of Finland. All at the beginning. There are no good guys here.
#2
And let's not forget that Stalin was a mercenary in the war, kept in by endless shipments of supplies by the US, extorted with threats of making peace with his socialist brother in Berlin.

Putin is taking the accumulated stress from seventy years of post-WW2 corruption and using it against us and the left is sitting there with its &*(^ in its hands and saying "Gee, is something happening?" Yes, he's doing to Ukraine what you helped him do to China, and North Korea, and Vietnam... and the US economy. It's ugly, but it isn't any uglier than the %$@$ econazi plandemic or the economic euthanasia by Gazprom, or for that matter the massacre at Hue.

It was not only the Partition of Poland and the conquest of the Baltic countries. Communists were sabotaging armament factories in France and England.
The French Communist Party was made illegal in France 1939 for collaborationism.
Soviet Union offered Nazis the "Basis Nord" to base submarines.
And what about to tell the truth about Stalin considering to be an Axis partner?
The is really a fascinating overview of the role of the forward air controller in the Russian military.
Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin in italics.
[ColonelCassad] Interesting material about the work of aviation gunners, whose work usually remains in the shadows.
On cooperation with aviation
The widespread use of aviation in modern armed conflicts necessitates commanders of all levels to ensure continuous interaction between infantry units and crews of aircraft and helicopters. To do this, a forward aviation gunner (hereinafter PAN) from the VKS can be attached to units (groups), and in his absence, an emergency PAN from among the personnel can be assigned. This review article will not describe the method of work of this specialist, but only indicate some of the nuances that must be understood and taken into account before starting to work together with aviation. VKS is Russian acronym for aerospace forces. Thanks to SteveS for the reminder
First, a little theory. There is the concept of "guidance", and there is the concept of "target designation." Usually, when it comes to air guidance, non-core experts confuse them with each other. Guidance is the work of the combat crew of the aviation control center to bring the aircraft to a tactically advantageous position relative to the target for the most efficient use of aviation weapons (hereinafter ASP), or other tasks (for example, landing groups from helicopters by landing method).
Target designation (hereinafter referred to as TA) is the provision of information to the crew about the location and nature of the target. The guidance process implies a control center, but is not limited to it. I will not give the guidance method itself here. In this review article, only some important nuances of visual control of an aircraft (hereinafter aircraft) when pointing at a ground target (hereinafter NC) will be voiced, as the most accessible and does not require any special technical means, in addition to a radio station. An automated control center of the KRUS type, as well as guidance based on air situation indicators, will not be considered here. KRUS
So, we figured out what is the difference between guidance and CC. When guiding an aircraft (hereinafter referred to as AC) to a ground target (hereinafter referred to as NC), PAN must first of all take into account:
– aircraft maneuverability (in terms of maneuvers available to this type of aircraft, as well as in terms of speed characteristics);
– type of applied ASP;
- the nature of the target (single / area, armored / unarmored, etc.);
- terrain, vegetation, characteristic landmarks;
- availability of air defense systems;
– weather conditions, azimuth of the Sun.
Having assessed all these conditions in the aggregate, the PAN develops a decision on the order of guidance of the aircraft. First of all, it includes the course and height of reaching the target, the maneuver for the attack and the side of the withdrawal from the attack.
All this is reported to the crew by radio. At the same time, the radio exchange in air radio networks differs from the ground. The main requirement is brevity and unambiguity.
You can not clog the air with unnecessary phrases, parasitic words, curses; units of measurement are not mentioned, as is the word "reception". There is only one reason - the situation can change very quickly, there can be not only one crew on this channel, but the whole squadron, and the extra "clogging" of the air will only interfere with the task. For example: “703rd, the target is a group of infantry, from the 1st landmark with a heading of 200, 2 minutes, to 100, work from the horizon with artillery, after work exit to the right.” The author used the word Gvozda (which translated into nail (used in the dative case)), which is the name of a mobile artillery gun, 152mm.
Tangents is the main weapon of the PAN.
It is very important to understand that the decision of the PAN is not an unrelenting dogma for the crew; based on their level of training, remaining fuel and the availability of ASP, the crew may deviate from the originally planned guidance.
Forcing the crew to comply is strictly prohibited! Here we directly approach the first important point - the level of crew training. Many do not understand that the combat use of aviation is not “arrived and dropped a bomb”, but serious work in which many factors must be taken into account - and which are strictly regulated by aviation documents.
First, the weather conditions. There are different application conditions for different types of ASP: drop/fire speed, exit height, etc.
The Su-25SM will not be fired by NARs in a dive if the height of the continuous cloud base is 100 m, not to mention the fact that not every crew is capable of performing tasks in such weather. It is important to understand that these are not the "whims" of the aviators, but serious moments, the failure to comply with which may be fraught with the loss of the aircraft, or the use of ASP on their own troops.
During the Chechen wars, there were frequent cases when the command forced to bomb the positions of militants with uncontrolled FABs from behind the clouds, out of sight of the earth. Of course, the effectiveness of such an application was minimal, and cases of arrivals on their own are not uncommon. The same applies to the performance of auxiliary tasks, for example, the transport of troops and cargo.
The weather can worsen to such conditions that the crew simply cannot cope with, and stick into the ground along with the passengers. Therefore, before work, it is necessary to give the crew information about the weather in the target area. If the weather conditions are not suitable for the work of the crew, he will tell you about it.
A common misconception is the "all-weather" aviation.
Just because it's all-weather doesn't mean it can fly through thunderstorms, hail and fog. An example of issuing information about the weather: "703rd, I am a KIT, over the target 3-5 points of medium cloudiness, the lower limit is 600, visibility is 5, a slight haze."
The most important meteorological elements in this case are: cloud base and flight visibility; for a helicopter landing approach, it is also necessary to give the direction and speed of the wind. Visibility is determined visually by ground references, the lower boundary of the clouds - visually or according to reports of other crews, meteorological data; direction and speed of the wind - visually according to landmarks, or smoke from the checker.
You should be aware that flight visibility may slightly differ from ground visibility in the direction of deterioration, and also that the direction of the wind is given out from where it blows, in degrees and with gusts (desirable). For example: “703rd, landing clear, wind 240, 3 meters, gusts up to 7."
Helicopters usually land against the wind. If the approach against the wind is not provided, it is necessary to take into account its maximum allowable values for this type of aircraft. For example, for the Mi-8AMTSH tailwind should be no more than 5 m/s, side wind no more than 10 m/s; side wind is better on the right. Forcing the crew to enter into the wind more than allowed threatens to get into the left rotation, or even to cut the tail boom with their own main rotor.
An equally important point is with the azimuth of the Sun. It can be calculated using the simple formula (t-2)*15, where t is the local time. For example, at 12 o'clock the azimuth of the Sun will be (12-2) * 15 = 150 degrees. You need to know this in order to build a direction for an attack: if the enemy has a MANPADS, the exit from the attack should be done towards the Sun in order to bring down the GOS control center. Of course, information about the presence of air defense systems in the enemy is brought to the crew in advance, as well as the facts of launches against him.
As for the maneuverability and speed characteristics of the aircraft, the PAN also needs to have some minimal knowledge of aerodynamics and piloting features in order to build a competent guidance scheme. The nature of the available ASP determines the nature of the maneuvers performed over the target, because different ASPs have different conditions in terms of altitudes, speeds and patterns of use.
Also, the flight weight of the aircraft can impose restrictions on maneuvers: the Su-34, loaded with bombs, will not be able to hit the target from the loop (if this is necessary for some reason, of course), and helicopters will not fire NARs from the hover mode, because. their trajectory will be unstable due to the low initial speed. Therefore, the nature of the performed figures from the PAN can only be advisory in nature, and the crew, based on the information received, can make their own adjustments. What is important for PAN to know is the turning radii, the distance traveled per unit of time and fuel consumption in order to quickly assess the flight time and time for work.
Especially perverted radii and distances can be calculated on the NL-10m, but you can also use navigation calculators, which are many on the net. Fuel and tactical radius specifications, as well as acceptable wind strengths for helicopter landings, are specified in the aircraft type flight manuals, and these figures must be known and recorded in advance.
Here we smoothly move on to equipment. I will not encourage anyone to take this or that platen, or this or that radio station; everyone defines their equipment based on the task, and enumerating a list of everything will take a lot of space and time. I will dwell on only two things for now: these are reference data, and a headset for a radio station.
The second is highly desirable in the format of active headphones. On the one hand, the work of the PAN on the air is very attractive to the mortars. On the other hand, not a single crew report should go unheeded, each request can be of critical importance, as well as each given command.
Often, an executive team late for 2-3 seconds can disrupt successful guidance. PAN must be the eyes of the crews on the ground, and in order to work quickly and accurately, it is necessary to have a minimum supply of reference material on hand. It should include:
- a notepad for notes (a reusable plastic panel is also convenient, on which you can write with a pencil and erase)
- the main weapon of the PAN, in addition to the radio communication button. In the working records, it is necessary to indicate the call signs of the crews, their place, altitudes, the remains of the TSA and fuel, and other operational information. Don't count on memory, write it down!
– tables: turning radii depending on speed; distance traveled per minute from speed; minimum and emergency fuel balances by aircraft types; tactical radii; allowable wind forces for takeoff and landing, etc.;
- a map (diagram) of the combat area with marked reference points and a protractor.
Other data such as coding tables, password numbers, control room callsigns, etc, it is desirable to have such an option that in which case they can be quickly destroyed. The placement of all reference waste paper is optimal in the administrative pouch on the chest; a wrist tablet is also very convenient. When separating equipment, it is important to understand that the main weapons of the PAN are his PTT and his working records.
You should not shove them into the far corner of the crackers, and their placement should provide constant access on the one hand, and ease of use on the other. An informed crew is focused on combat use. An informed PAN, on the other hand, is able to make quick decisions about how to use the crew.
Option to place an administrative pouch with reference documentation
Of course, these are far from all the nuances regarding interaction with aviation. You can talk a lot and for a long time, but the format of this article is an overview, if necessary, you can continue it in the future on more specific issues. What should be understood after reading it is to understand the role of the PAN, to understand that this is not just a “shoot there”, but a tool for maximizing the capabilities of your aviation.
If necessary, anyone can contact the crew, you just need to know the call sign and frequency. But the point is not to give out the CC - the point is to point. It should be built in such a way that the target is destroyed from the very first approach, and this is the main point of the work of the PAN as a specialist. It's easy to learn radio communication. It is difficult to analyze the situation and work out the most competent decision on the order in which the crew will be used. And for this you need to have a large layer of knowledge, from flight laws, and ending with aerodynamics and piloting techniques. Only by developing and improving, you can win. And we have always won.

Going from what I have read in the past about the Soviets, I'd say the author is a rated pilot. Only a pilot would lay claim to the type of knowledge necessary to carry out an air strike.
That said, and given the large number of cruise missile strikes, I suspect that the Russian successes with the ongoing bombardment they are delivering the Ukrainians, most of those strike, especially "precision" strikes are with air controllers with a laser designators.
That means two things. Those long range missiles have a selectable switch that enables them to go to a point, then either follow a preplanned flight path, then seek a laser spot to hit its target, or simply follow the path if a laser spot is not detected.

..most of those strike, especially "precision" strikes are with air controllers with a laser designators.
..or they're using GPS (theirs or ours) and info derived from lousy security and comsec. I'd make a reasonable assumption that Russian satellite assets are focused on the theater now rather than the usual long term surveillance elsewhere. That allows them to focus their attention and exploitations.

badanov, many thanks for the informative article. 'Deconflicting' a battlespace filled with planes, artillery shells and unmanned weapons be hard. Still, what I found interesting was the tone of the article of the article that 'pilots needed to be walked through everything by the hand' by higher command...

You're not going to jump into the old SU-25 and go on a free hunt, as the Russian call it. The costs of ignoring aerial battlespace security is too high, especially now for the Russians.
If you'll remember, the Russians lost about eight aircraft in the War in Georgia, with all but three due to friendly ground fire.
More than 20 persons with links to the terrorist organization of ISIS were captured in separate operations of the National Security Agency in Nineveh, al-Anbar, Diyala, and Kirkuk.
The Security Media Cell (SMC) said that a force from the National Security Agency executed an arrest warrant against six persons who served in al-Jazeera sector under the auspices of ISIS.
In al-Anbar, the National Security Agency dismantled a network of five terrorists operating as a security cell for the extremist group.
A group of four persons with ties to the terrorist group was captured in Diyala. The arrestees confessed to providing logistic support to ISIS cells sheltered in the Hemrin mountains.
In another security operation, the National Security Agency caught six members, including a commander, in the so-called Diwan al-Jund (the personnel affairs department) of the terrorist group in Kirkuk.
Iraqi security forces on Sunday announced the killing of several alleged Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) members, including two jacket wallahs in Salahaddin province. Other suspects of the terror group were also arrested across several Iraqi provinces.
Iraqi Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s targeted ISIS positions north of Lake Tharthar, killing three alleged ISIS members, Iraqi Security Media Cell said.
The corpse count of ISIS bandidossnuffies climbed to five after the Iraqi forces clashed with two bandidossnuffies wearing explosive vests in the same area, leading to the killing of both ISIS suspects, it added.
"The force found a very large tunnel containing large numbers of bombs ... in addition to finding a house used by ISIS terrorist gangs to hide the bombs," said the cell. A vehicle containing bombs and weapons was also discovered on the scene.
The security forces also announced the arrest of several suspected ISIS members, including a leader of the terror group, in four Iraqi provinces.
Six bandidossnuffies were arrested in Kirkuk province "including an ISIS terrorist leader who entered the province with a fake identity, and he is one of those responsible for blowing up oil pipelines," according to the cell.
Additionally, more than a dozen ISIS affiliates were detained in the provinces of Nineveh, Anbar, and Diyala.
Iraqi warplanes on Monday killed seven ISIS suspects after an airstrike hit their location in the Makhmour mountains in Erbil.
Two Iraqi soldiers were killed in festivities with the terror group in Salahaddin on Tuesday.
In its propaganda magazine on Thursday, ISIS claimed to have conducted 12 attacks in Iraq from May 11 to May 19, killing and injuring 26 people.

Al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces-PMF) launched a security operation in Khanaqin, a district contested between the federal government of Iraq and Kurdistan's Regional Government, a security source in Diyala revealed earlier today, Sunday.
The outskirts of Khanaqin and Jalawla have become a haven for ISIS groups that have sheltered there since the withdrawal of the Peshmerga forces from the territory in the aftermath of the 2017 independence referendum.
The activity of the terrorist groups has remarkably diminished since the large-scale military operations the Peshmerga forces carried out to purge the area toward the end of last year.
The linked blog is written by a Russian military blogger known, according to military journalist Boris Rozhin, due to his (Cat Ivanov's)reportage from the start of the war in 2014. 1 The use of drones at the tactical level is definitively becoming the norm of the NWO. The performance of artillery corrected from drones like Mavic3 is close to high-precision weapons and even surpasses them in some ways. There is an opportunity inaccessible to Orlans and others to work out point targets, up to one fighter, opening bunkers and dugouts to move drugs (see video in the Avdievka area on the Avdeevka-Konstantinovka highway).
2 The bunkers of Azovstal were empty. All the “zahisniks” surrendered (it’s not very clear why they took personal belongings with them - everything will be given out in prison)
3 The pushing and grinding of the enemy continues in the directions of Barvenkovo, Liman, Severodonetsk, New York, Soledar, Gorskoye.
