-Lurid Crime Tales-
There Was a Huge ‘Mistake' in the 2020 Census… Guess Which Party It Favored?
[PJMedia] There was a major problem with the 2020 Census, and most people probably haven’t heard about it, even though it has enormous implications. At the end of May, the Census Bureau admitted that it miscounted 14 states in the 2020 Census.

Why didn’t the media make a big stink about this story? Maybe it was overshadowed by the recent mass shootings, that’s certainly a possibility, but I have another theory.

Here are the states that the Census acknowledged it overcounted: Hawaii, Delaware, Rhode Island, Minnesota, New York, and Massachusetts.

Here are the states that the Census acknowledged it undercounted: Texas, Illinois, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas.

Well, gee, isn’t that interesting. Does it seem like a mere bizarre coincidence that the overcounted states all voted for Biden in 2020, and five of the six undercounted states for Trump in 2020?

"Last week’s Census Bureau announcement of serious errors will impact the next decade’s congressional apportionment and delegations, and play a crucial role in the presidential race," explained Kristin Tate at The Hill. "Given the nature of the mistakes, Democrats could hang onto the presidency under particularly controversial circumstances due to publicly-acknowledged errors."

The changes will impact national politics in a dramatic fashion. The 2020 census led to significant changes to congressional seats apportioned to states. Texas gained two congressional seats, while North Carolina, Florida, Montana, Colorado and Oregon each gained one. New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and California each lost one seat in Congress. There was significant surprise that population growth winners such as Texas and Florida didn’t gain more seats. With the possible exception of Illinois not losing a seat, the likely effects of an accurate count would have overwhelmingly aided red states. Simply put, the revised figures show that (mostly) red states had even quicker relative population growth compared to the rest of the country — and especially compared to (mostly) blue states. It is entirely possible that undercounted states could have gained at least one seat in Congress, while overcounted states may have lost at least one each.
All institutions are completely corrupt at this point. Burn them all down.

#1  The article links to the Census Bureau report. It looks like they’re comparing actual counts with self-response rates against what they expect based on computer models. Oddly enough, the South had a lower than expected number of self-responses — I assume that means the number of returned survey forms. PDF —executive summary is on page 8.

#4  My Fancy Scientific Statistical Model™ shows there are 300 500 million previously uncounted citizens living in my garage ...and they all voted to elect me for President-For-Life! See how simple this makes politics...?!?

100 Days of War: Discontent is Growing in Russia
[Nadin Brzezinski] (Ed note: since these posts came straight from Russian sources like Reverse Side of the Medal, city name spelling uses the Russian translation, not Ukrainian)

It is important to understand that a three-day war that’s lasted for 100 days is causing issues in Russia. It is obvious that military bloggers are very unhappy with the path this war has taken. Ergo, some internal resistance is growing, even in places that could surprise most observers.

But it is deeper than that, not only are Mercs discussing the fate of the war. Other channels are starting to argue why Russia24 and people like Margarita Simoyan and Vladimir Solovyov are effective in the pro-war propaganda.

The first is a discussion on Telegram that linked to how that propaganda is done. The link is here, you can hit translate, and will give you the article in English.

Here is a critical point made by this piece.

Skillful distortion of facts is not the main factor in the success of propaganda. Facts are secondary here. Propaganda appeals to the emotions and feelings of people, so the propaganda tool is universal and works great for both religious fanatics of the East and enlightened Europeans.

Agitators play on the basic need for belonging (“our nation is the greatest and the one”); existential fear of the future — it is directed at a specific enemy, internal or external (“all evil is from Americans / Ukrainians / Jews”); they turn anger and dissatisfaction into the idea of retribution: “we were treated unfairly, they will answer for it!”.

Facts don’t matter, though there are a few used in the mix. This is why Russians have gone from having some doubts to embracing the whole thing. However, that might start to break as the reality of the war comes home.

In the Telegram channel they made a few other important points:

Propaganda relies on the delusions and fears that citizens already have — on the virtual reality that mistakenly seems to be reality. “If a person “sees” that the whole world is ruled by Jews, he will see it everywhere. If a person sees that we are at war with the Nazis, he will see these Nazis, especially since they will be shown on TV.”

#2  Articles like this ones are the mental gymnastics of the arrogant loser… Russians are immensely happy about their future and economic prospects and prosperity in the new economic world.
The reality is, members of the Ukrainian army units describe hopeless situations, and are calling for declare a retreat or call out their commanders for neglect. Thousands and thousands of Ukrainian soldiers are surrendering and denouncing their commanders, videos are for all to see.

Morale is so bad because those troops do not fare well.

Washington state drivers don't have to pull over for the cops anymore, so they aren't
Last July, a new law went into effect in Washington state that was described as "police reform." House Bill 1054 made significant changes in how the police are allowed to do their jobs. Police unions had been protesting the measure, saying that it would negatively impact their ability to control crime, but the state’s Democrats cheered the bill as a way to bring more "equity" into the system. One of the changes put in place by the bill was a rule saying the police officers were no longer allowed to engage in high-speed chases except in very limited circumstances. In other words, if the cops see a driver doing something wrong and turn on their sirens and flashers but the motorist doesn’t pull over, there isn’t much they can do about it. To the great surprise of nobody with an IQ higher than tepid water, motorists have begun ignoring the police in increasing numbers and simply refusing to pull over.

One Quarter of Americans Have to Delay Retirement Thanks to Bidenflation
[The Lid] While our intelligence-deprived liar-in-chief blames Russian dictator Vlad Putin for the Bidenflation, that claim is about as real as the tooth fairy, monsters in the closet, and my six-pack abs. The truth is thanks to Joe Biden’s failed policies, millions of Americans will no longer be able to retire at the time they had hoped to, according to a report.

The latest report from the BMO Real Financial Progress Index shows that Biden has seriously hurt millions of Americans who hoped to retire soon.

As reported in The Blaze:

"Nearly 60% of those surveyed said that inflation has adversely affected their personal finances, of which about one in four said that they have felt a major impact," the group said. "As a result of inflation, 36% of Americans have reduced their savings and 21% have reduced their retirement savings. A quarter of Americans will need to delay their retirement. Younger Americans are feeling the most impact — over 60% of those aged 18-34 said they had to reduce contributions to their savings."

This survey of more than 3,400 adults was conducted from March 30 to April 25.

Prices on a range of goods and services have soared since President Joe Biden took office, with energy costs leading the way. The latest data on the consumer price index, a key marker of inflation produced by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, has reported the highest inflation rate in four decades.

"The all items index increased 8.3 percent for the 12 months ending April, a smaller increase than the 8.5-percent figure for the period ending in March," BLS said. "The all items less food and energy index rose 6.2 percent over the last 12 months. The energy index rose 30.3 percent over the last year, and the food index increased 9.4 percent, the largest 12-month increase since the period ending April 1981."

Of course, this mess of Biden’s is also seriously hurting people nowhere near retiring. Everyone is hurting. Biden is a failure who is destroying the lives of every American, and most especially the lives of the lower and middle classes.

Question: But aren't all retirees, not just those planning to, doing the same?

Being retired now 21 years this Sept. We have had to make some serious and interesting downward changes the last 2 years in our spending and travel budgets.

With Gas up 110+%, food items up anywhere from 9+ to 26+% depending on the item, along with growing spot item food shortages.

I expect we'll see a lot more late night accidental Restaurants fires after closing.

#3  When you look at Demokrat policy through the prism of any positive impact on the entire American people as incidental to the empowerment and enrichment of themselves, it all makes perfect sense. #5  This is serious. Truckers especially independent truckers are parking their rigs. 70% of grocery products are delivered by trucks. I see FEDEX drivers running up fuel bills of at least 150 dollars at a time and diesel 250. Adding on delivery charges that will never go away as long as stores will pay. Motor home $2000 dollars to fill up. one side tank of dump truck 250 one day and 550 the next day for same side tank. I say again. Independent truckers are parking their rigs. Not worth it anymore to drive. They might as well have put a terrorist in office as president.

Okay, Groomers
[Powerline] Proponents of instructing small children in perverse sexual practices get offended when people point out that the children are being groomed. But what else can you call it? The invaluable Libs of TikTok has documented not just one or two, but numerous elementary school teachers who proudly boast of what can only be termed grooming of their pre-teen students.
They really do want your children, and for much the same reasons.
Then we have the Drag the Kids to Pride event that was held yesterday in a Texas gay bar:

A Texas gay bar hosted a "Drag the Kids to Pride" event where drag queen dancers provocatively gyrated in front of children as young as toddlers. ...

The Mr. Misster gay bar in downtown Dallas hosted the drag queen event aimed at children.
***
"Our under 21 guests can enjoy a special Mr. Misster Mocktails while the moms and dads can sip on one of our classic Mr. Misster Mimosa Towers," the poster reads. "Do you want to hit the stage with the queens? We have FIVE limited spots for young performers to take the stage solo, or with a queen of their choosing! Come hangout with the Queens and enjoy this unique pride experience, fit for guests of all ages!"

At the link, you can see a number of appalling videos. Here are two of them. These kids are obviously being groomed into a gay lifestyle. Note the neon sign: "It’s not gonna lick itself." Another sign in the bar said, "I licked it so it’s mine."

Surprising Things You Can Buy With Food Stamps
[GoBankingRates] Formerly known as food stamps, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the most important anti-hunger initiative in America. According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), SNAP provided food security to about 41.5 million people in 2021, with an average benefit of $218.14 per person.
That’s per month, not per year.
Recipients use Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards to receive funds and make purchases, and they can use those cards to buy a whole lot more than just standard groceries. Here’s a look at some of the more unusual things that SNAP will pay for.

#5  That’s absolutely what is done. I don’t know the exchange rate, but EBT is sold at a discounted rate. $50 cash for $100 worth of food stamps for example. At a place I once worked it was party time every month. They would wheel and deal over who would pay the most cash. “I’ll give you 10 for 20. I’ll give you 12 for 20.” Things like that. Look up Bone Thugs n Harmony some ng First of the Month. I think it was Chris Rock who talked about it being a Welfare Carol.

Biden to exempt tariffs on solar panels from Southeast Asian countries for 24 months -source
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] U.S. President Joe Biden will issue a proclamation on Monday that will allow solar panels to be imported to the United States from Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam without risk of tariffs for a 24-month period, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters.

The action comes amid concern about the impact of the U.S. Commerce Department's months-long investigation into whether imports of solar panels from the four Southeast Asian nations are circumventing tariffs on goods made in China.
We’ll assume that’s a yes, then. Goody.

Keeping tight control of the border to stop the bad ones there would allow us the ability to fit in the good ones more comfortably for all involved... and to be able to accommodate more of them.

Swedish Populists Call for Syrians, Somalis, and Afghans to Be Returned as Integration Fails
[Breitbart] The populist Sweden Democrats (SD) have called for the repatriation of Syrians, Afghans, and Somalis, noting their rate of unemployment and high numbers who have not integrated.

Party leader Jimmie Åkesson and migration policy spokesman Ludvig Aspling have said the Swedish government needs to do more to return migrants to their homelands if they rely on state benefits and do not integrate.

“Since 2010, Sweden has granted over 1.2 million residence permits, equivalent to more than a brand new Stockholm. Unemployment is almost five times higher among foreign-born compared to native-born,” the pair wrote in a debate article for the newspaper Aftonbladet.

The pair add that among Syrians, Afghans, and Somalis, half of the adults earn incomes less than 100,000 Swedish kronor (£8,189/$10,235) per year, and that among foreign-born residents in general some 600,000 are not self-sufficient.

“Remigration is not a miracle solution, but the failures of recent decades show that it must be an option – a solution for all those who live in long-term exclusion,” they said, noting that while Sweden does have a subsidy for those wishing to return to their home countries it is seldom used.

“Incentive structures and the welfare system must be reformed, so that people in exclusion cannot get caught up in welfare dependency, but are either forced into society or encouraged to remigrate,” they wrote.

Åkesson and Aspling also cited the Danish approach to repatriating migrants, quoting Danish government minister Mattias Tesfaye, who has previously stated his goal is that Denmark would receive zero asylum seekers.

The concept of remigration was also used by former French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour during his campaign earlier this year. The populist said that he wished to create a new government ministry specifically to deal with the issue.

Zemmour proposed to send at least a million migrants back to their countries over a period of five years. A poll released in late March revealed that around two-thirds of French people supported a mass remigration of illegals, foreigners on terrorist watchlists, and foreign criminals.

#13  HIMARS to be seen soon. Izium combat service and support sustainment nodes for the northern Donbas pincer will be immediately put under attack via the primary rail lines that run N to S from Russia to Izium and points further east around the pocket the Russian forces are attempting to close.

Unlike much of the other rail lines in northern and western Ukraine, these are Russian gauge lines thus need no transloading to western carriages.

Likewise, the Ukrainians already have a bridgehead across the river N of Kherson, and may take advantage of the stripping of forces there to retake Kherson by cutting it off from reinforcements from the Crimea across the river.

It all comes down to the competence of Ukrainian soldiers and the incompetence of Russian logistics, versus time.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Report claims Iranian scientist was deliberately poisoned, assassin has fled country
[IsraelTimes] Iranian opposition outlet says Ayoob Entezari, who worked on missiles and drones, died last week after attending a dinner party, the host of which has since fled

An Iranian scientist who died last week under mysterious circumstances was intentionally poisoned by an acquaintance, according to a report by an Iranian opposition outlet on Sunday.

Ayoob Entezari was reportedly employed at a research and development center in the city of Yazd, where he was said to have worked on developing missiles and drones before dying on May 31.

Some initial reports had indicated he died of food poisoning, but local authorities denied this, saying he died of an unspecified illness and accusing one of his relatives of spreading rumors.

Authorities in Yazd province also denied he was a significant figure, describing him as a regular employee at an industrial company, after a letter written by the governor called him a "martyr" and a picture reportedly showed local officials paying a condolence visit to his home. The province later said the use of the term was a mistake.

However,

International quoted unverified reports saying Entezari may have been intentionally poisoned while attending a dinner, as he died afterward.

The outlet also said some unnamed sources reported that the man who hosted the dinner party has since fled the country.

Police clash with Palestinians on Temple Mount as Jews visit during Shavuot holiday
[IsraelTimes] Rioters barricade themselves in al-Aqsa Mosque, throw stones at officers as Jewish groups tour flashpoint compound; no injuries or arrests reported

Police scuffled with Paleostinians on Jerusalem’s flashpoint Temple Mount holy site on Sunday morning as Jews toured the compound during the Shavuot holiday.

Paleostinians barricaded themselves inside the compound’s al-Aqsa Mosque and threw stones at police in response to the visits. There were no reports of injuries or arrests in the incident.

Footage from the scene showed officers outside the mosque doors, while Paleostinians barricaded inside threw stones out of windows and chanted "holy shit! Allahu akbar," or "God is great."

Other videos showed a small group of Jews walking through the plaza surrounded by police, with Paleostinians trailing the Jewish group holding Paleostinian flags and shouting.

The visits by Jewish groups continued as usual under police protection, Hebrew media reported.

Israeli troops arrest terror suspect during overnight raid in West Bank
[IsraelTimes] Man detained in joint operation by IDF, Border Police and Shin Bet in Bethlehem

Israeli security forces arrested a terror suspect in the West Bank city of Bethlehem during an overnight raid, the military said on Sunday morning.

No Israeli troops were maimed during the operation and the suspect was transferred to Sherlocks for questioning.

The Israel Defense Forces, together with Border Police and the Shin Bet security service conducted overnight operations across the West Bank as part of Operation Breakwater, the army said.

The military launched the operation in the West Bank following a series of terror attacks beginning in March that claimed the lives of 19 people. The ensuing raids sparked festivities that left at least 30 Paleostinians dead since mid-March.

Security forces clashed with Paleostinians over the weekend while carrying out a raid to arrest a man suspected of illegally driving Paleostinians across the "seam zone" area along the security barrier. Several Paleostinian attackers in the recent terror wave entered Israel illegally from the West Bank.

According to the IDF, rioters in the northern West Bank village of Jaba’ threw stones and Molotov cocktails at soldiers during the raid. No Israeli troops were hurt in the festivities.

The IDF said soldiers also arrested a terror suspect in Bethlehem during that operation and confiscated several weapons.

Israel said preparing to defend new Karish gas rig from Hezbollah attack
[IsraelTimes] According to Kan, Navy using vessels including submarines to protect drilling site; Iron Dome battery to be placed nearby as well

The Israeli military is preparing for the possibility that the Hezbollah terror group will attempt to attack the new Karish gas rig off the country’s Mediterranean coast, Kan news reported Sunday.

The report said navy vessels would help secure the rig, including submarines. A naval version of the Iron Dome missile defense system will also arrive in the area to help protect the platform.

The new drilling platform arrived at the Karish site on Sunday and is expected to become operational in the next few months.

Lebanese President Michel Aoun
...president of Leb, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hizbullah...
on Sunday warned Israel against drilling at Karish, claiming it was a disputed site.

The Walla news site quote an unnamed senior Israeli Sunday night who slammed the Lebanese allegations as "lies," adding that Beirut’s recent claims to the site "contradict the positions that Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...a formerly French, now an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. ...
itself presented in the past."

Longtime foes Israel and Lebanon have held talks over the past year aimed at demarcating offshore exclusive economic zones. The disputed area, hundreds of square miles wide, is thought to contain large deposits of natural gas, a potential game-changer for Lebanon, which is mired in a devastating economic crisis.

The Hezbollah terror group has warned Israel against unilaterally searching for natural gas in the disputed maritime region before any agreement is reached.

The negotiations are meant to focus on an 860-square-kilometer (330-square-mile) disputed sea area according to a map registered with the United Nations
...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships...
in 2011.

But in 2020, Lebanon demanded an additional area of 1,430 square kilometers further south, Lebanese energy expert Laury Haytayan said, characterizing the new phase of talks as a "war of the maps."

The additional area extends into part of the Karish gas field which Israel has assigned Energean, which was expected to begin pumping gas to the Israeli domestic market last year. Karish, Hebrew for shark, contains 1.4 trillion cubic feet of proved and probable gas.

Lebanon’s foreign minister responded positively in February to proposals from US negotiator Amos Hochstein on settling the maritime border dispute with Israel, as Hezbollah leader His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah
...The satrap of the Medes and the Persians in Leb...
reportedly gave a green light to continue negotiations.

However,
if you can't say something nice about a person some juicy gossip will go well...
Nasrallah expressed fierce opposition to the US-mediated talks last month, appearing to contradict the earlier reports.

The area around Karish also includes a prospect known as Block 72, which is thought to also contain large hydrocarbon deposits. In June 2019, the Israeli government gave US-based Noble Energy the go-ahead to carry out exploratory drilling there, though development of the field has reportedly been hampered by worries over its fate in the dispute with Lebanon.
Courtesy of Skidmark, more from the Jerusalem Post at 5:10 a.m. ET:
Energean's floating gas production rig, Energean Power, has arrived in Israel, mooring near the Shark gas reservoir, about 80 km off the coast of Haifa.

Energean, which holds the gas production licenses from the "Shark(Karish)" and "Crocodile(Tanin)" reservoirs, announced the arrival on Saturday.

Energean will immediately begin anchoring and connecting the rig to the gas wells and piping networks and begin the initial run of various systems.

The company estimates that commissioning operations will last about 3-4 months until the first gas flow is achieved, which is expected in the third quarter of 2022.

Afghanistan
Questions Raised About Firing of 3 Female Professors
More females driven out of the public square into purdah.
[ToloNews] Three female Badakhshan University lecturers were fired. Officials at Badakhshan University said the three female lecturers have not been at their jobs in over 10 months and have therefore been fired.

However,
man does not live by words alone, despite the fact that sometimes he has to eat them...
universities have only been opened since the beginning of the school year in March, and the upheaval caused by the political takeover in August caused interruptions in universities, schools and other organizations across the country before March.Based on a letter that went viral on social media, Badakhshan University's appointment committee decided to fire these academics in an official meeting.

One student said that the firing will add to the difficulties in educating women in Afghanistan.

"The removal of female professors from the university is one of the biggest problems in educating female students, and this adds up to the frustration of girls," said Lal Mah Hasrat, a student.

"It has been three months since our classes started. Mozhda and Professor Alamyar were among the teachers who were teaching us at university. It has been three months that they are absent," said Hangama, another student.

Meanwhile,
...back at the palazzo, Count Guido had been cornered by the banditti...
Badakhshan University's chancellor said that these professors have been fired for their persistent absenteeism.

"From August of 2021, which is ten months, these teachers left university, they were repeatedly contacted by the university leadership to come back, but unfortunately they did not return," said Salahuddin Qazizada, head of press relations of Badakhshan University.

Faeza Durkhani, a professor in the Faculty of Agriculture, and Monira Alamyar and Mozhda Tabesh in the Faculty of Social Sciences, are the lecturers who were fired by the leadership of Badakhshan University.

TOLOnews attempted to get a comment from the fired professors, but did not succeed.

Currently, nine other female professors are teaching at Badakhshan University.

#4  The National Resistance Front is the current generation of the old Northern Alliance that fought off the Taliban back in the 1990s, ie. the non-Pashtun tribes, jpal. The old leaders ended up being governors of their provinces and key members of the post-Talib government, while their sons were sent off for proper training from military academies and then finance and governance at university on the assumption that those skills would be needed again. And so they are.

China fighter jet intercepts Australian plane - Canberra
[BBC] Australia has accused the pilot of a Chinese fighter jet of carrying out a dangerous manoeuvre near one of its aircraft over the South China Sea.

It says the Chinese aircraft released flares and cut in front of the Australian surveillance plane.

The Chinese jet then released "chaff" - an anti-radar device which includes small pieces of aluminium which entered the Australian plane's engine.

Beijing claims most of the region as its own territory.

The Royal Australian Air Force P-8 maritime surveillance aircraft was intercepted on 26 May by a Chinese J-16 fighter aircraft, during what was a routine maritime surveillance activity, Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese said.

"The intercept resulted in a dangerous manoeuvre which did pose a safety threat to the P-8 aircraft and its crew," he said.

Defence Minister Richard Marles said the Chinese jet flew very close in front of the RAAF aircraft and released a "bundle of chaff" containing the small pieces of aluminium that were ingested into the Australian aircraft's engine.

"Quite obviously this is very dangerous," Mr Marles told ABC television.

In a statement, Australia's defence ministry said it had "for decades undertaken maritime surveillance activities in the region" and "does so in accordance with international law, exercising the right to freedom of navigation and overflight in international waters and airspace".

Beijing has not commented on the incident. China has been building up military infrastructure there in recent years.

But the US, neighbouring countries and others, including Australia, dispute its claim.

In February, Australia accused a Chinese navy ship of shining a military grade laser towards one of its warplanes over the Arafura Sea off northern Australia.

Avenatti Gets Four Years in Prison
[ET] Lawyer Michael Avenatti, who made headlines for his anti-Donald Trump stance, was sentenced to four years in prison Thursday for cheating his former client out of $300,000 in cash from a book deal.

Avenatti was convicted of aggravated identity fraud and wire fraud in a New York federal court earlier in 2022. He could have faced two years in prison for the first charge and 20 years for the second.

During his sentencing, Avenatti acknowledged that he made a "series of mistakes" and "poor judgment" when he represented and bilked Stormy Daniels out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Previously, Avenatti said he did not want to appear at the sentencing, but the judge ordered him to.

"I will forever be branded ’disgraced lawyer’ and worse," he said Thursday.
But wait - there's more!
Avenatti, meanwhile, still faces a retrial in California federal court in another case in which is being accused of stealing nearly $10 million from five clients. He’s also currently serving a 30-month prison sentence for attempting to extort more than $20 million from Nike by threatening to release damaging information to the public unless he was paid.

Commentary by Russian blogger Donetsk

I have noticed a recent uptick of Ukrainian artillery strikes in civilians areas in Donetsk, where civilians have traditionally fared the worst.

[DonRF] Donetsk is again suffering from fire, it is unlikely to be quiet at night. 91 dead in a week in the DPR. Nearly 400 wounded. All of these are civilians. Reports are dreary, personal contacts too. Everything froze in some kind of balance, and it is absolutely incomprehensible where it will stagger.

Not fun. Some are looking for zradu, others are looking for peremoga, others want socialism, others want the scoop out of themselves... And Donbass suffers in silence when it flies in packets, then there is no time for geonanopolitics. Although they also whisper ... about different things. It is hard for people to believe that on the 102nd day it is exactly so. It is even more difficult to live in this understanding that it is for a long time.

The logic of war is no victories and morale is falling. The fictitious ones come in the first month, then all these multi-move ones become boring. And there is nothing to do, everything continues. The process has begun, and now it is up to the end. It's like in flight - I burned 51% of the fuel and there's no way back. Only forward to the end. Both for them and for us. They just do not have a way back, because only a resounding victory will close the hell that will emerge after. After all, they will tear their own if there is peace. All this dope will go away, the facts will remain.

Exactly like ours. There are a lot of bugs that need to be changed. Donbass will be restored later. From the ruins And you can't resurrect people. So, again, just go ahead, there is no choice. And this is an axiom. Russian ultra-patriots can pose as much as they want - we are protecting you, no guys, you are protecting yourself. We are a played card, they are coming after you.

And it's time to forget the great-power show-offs, the 102nd day has gone. Yes, and ours need less to yell about "betrayed", "set up" and the like. They did not betray, they just could. Yes, and now what? In Ukraine? Good luck, you can survive the artillery raid, there is no castration with further extraction of the eye with a knife. And it will be so. We are not human to them.

No one has a choice, that's the point. And I personally do not call for anything, everyone understands everything. Well, except for half a percent of the stubborn in the Russian Federation and here, who believe in the rape of pregnant boys in panties and self-attacks. But those bullets will fix them. Ukrainian. And that's if we lose.

It is unlikely. Very unlikely. The question is just the speed of buildup and the price of victory. Not in counter-battery shooting, Soviet artillery systems are shit, men who at least know how to shoot even more, not in ammunition, can buy small UAVs of the Russian Federation as much as needed in a week, the question is how soon all this will be organized, but pique vests:

It was even funnier. In December 2016, his boss calls me. The man had been engaged in the Ukrainian direction for almost three years (!!!) by that time. Further our dialogue:

He: Listen, we have a meeting now, tell me, is Zhitomir ours or not ours?
Me: What do you mean? (I go nuts from the very formulation of the question, which speaks of the complete incompetence of a person as a specialist)
He: Well, Bandera or not?

This is where I blew up, of course.

Me: Well, you're just a sheep, or what? Zhytomyr is a big city. There are ours, there are not ours, there are Bandera, communists, Jews, Seventh-day Adventists, bikers, chess players and ten thousand more social groups. How do they feel about Moscow? Yes, whatever! Someone supports completely, someone with reservations, someone is simply against it, someone is against it, but there is a nuance, someone doesn’t care at all ... and so on !! How can a whole city be recorded as ours or not ours, what kind of question is this? Is Moscow ours or not? There are twenty million people here and everyone has their own opinion! ..

He, interrupting: I see, I understand. In short, not Bandera, right?

I hung up.

These people sat in the Ukrainian direction until 2018, until they were kicked out in the ass. Responsibility for the difficulties in conducting SVO now lies, among other things, on their shoulders. Of course, none of them will answer for the failures, it is not customary here.

But conclusions must be drawn. Those who understand it should be responsible for the direction. This is not self-advertising (God forbid, I'm a private person and I'm not going anywhere), it's just a statement of fact.

Reading that which you won’t understand who is dumber - current or applicants, but you tend to believe that the connoisseur of nominal LNG and weighing pistols on market scales is all the same, because he is hungry, greedy and unprincipled, they will be removed. We don’t have the Hindenburgs, it’s bad with the Bismarcks, but there are people.

And at the top as well. Russia has such a karma - slowly and not ready. This time Donbass pays. The strategists worked out at night, it didn’t help the Ukrainians to see the realization, which means that this night will be difficult. I hope that for them, since there is nothing to cover us with.

Such are the unfortunate thoughts. Why should they be funny? People are dying, property is burning, everything is slow and alternatively brilliant. And what to do? It's good to be Russian, but it's hard.

Rozhin: Severodonetsk. 06/05/2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military journalist. Boris Rozhin.

[ColonelCassad] 1. Fighting continues in the area of the industrial zone of the Azot plant. The enemy also maintains communication with Lisichansk through one of the damaged bridges - heavy equipment passes there with great difficulty, but vehicles pass.

2. The transfer of reinforcements from Lysichansk to Severodonetsk, after the Armed Forces surrendered almost the entire city, made it possible to stay in the Azot area and start fighting in the adjacent residential area, while the Ukrainian sources themselves admit that there is no ambition to recapture Severodonetsk.

The fighting will accordingly continue in the industrial area, and part of Severodonetsk will soon turn into an analogue of Mariupol in terms of the destruction of high-rise buildings and other residential buildings, taking into account the active work of the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Severodonetsk.

3. It is unlikely that the command of the RF Armed Forces planned to storm Lisichansk head-on after taking the industrial zone of Severodonetsk. The real assault on Lisichansk will begin when they break through the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Privolye and Ustinovka, advancing to the outskirts of the city, regardless of what will happen in the industrial complex.

4. Of key importance for all these battles is the struggle for the Artemovsk-Lysichansk highway, since control over it devalues any efforts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to hold Lisichansk and Severodonetsk, unless, of course, there is a plan to sacrifice the entire grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as all foreign mercenaries who were abandoned to hold the Azot industrial zone.

5. So far, the RF Armed Forces have ensured complete fire control over the route, which has already affected the supply of Severodonetsk and Lisichansk. But there is no complete block on the highway yet, so individual vehicles and groups are still passing, but full-fledged supply, which was possible back in the first half of May, can no longer be ensured, despite all efforts to push the RF Armed Forces away from the area of Belogorovka and Berestovoye.

The current task of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in this direction is to grind the enemy's reserves in oncoming battles and cross the Artemovsk-Lysichansk highway.

6. Naturally, the activity of the RF Armed Forces in the direction of Seversk is also expected, since taking under fire control (which is not yet available) the Artemovsk-Seversk-Lysichansk highway will lead to the notorious operational encirclement of the Severodonetsk grouping, which will simply lose the ability to supply through Artemovsk, and any retreat will be associated with serious losses.

7. Therefore, in the near future, on the one hand, we will observe positional battles in the area of the Severodonetsk industrial zone and high-intensity battles north of Soledar.

#1  the Artemovsk-Seversk-Lysichansk highway

This was confusing the heck out of me because
1) there is an Artemovsk southeast of Popasna that is definitely not being used by Ukr as an MSR
2) in one of those 2016 name-changey things, Artemovsk reverted to its old name of Bakhmut.

So think Bakhmut-Seversk-Lysichansk as a supply route as the main road between Bakhmut-Lysichansk is closing.
Posted by: SteveS || 06/06/2022 9:53 Comments || Top||

#2  There is the main MSR going from Bakhmut (Artemovsk) and Severodonetsk. There are two other alternative routes going into Severodonetsk.

The main route is hard ball. Dunno about the rest.

The Russians say they have the main route under observation for artillery, what they refer to as under fire control.

Smith agreed to participate in the making of a counter-narrative video on condition it would not be broadcast until she and her then two-year old daughter returned to Ireland. Speckhard gave Smith’s daughter chocolate to occupy her while filming took place.

Smith’s interviews were later used to create four counter-Isis videos which have since been viewed thousands of times worldwide. In the videos Smith discussed how she became radicalised by joining private groups on Facebook before embarking on a life-changing journey that led her to Syria where she witnessed unspeakable violence.

Miqati warns of 'very dangerous' situation after Israeli ship enters disputed area
Israel has a different view. See here.
[AnNahar] Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Miqati on Sunday urged the U.N. and other international parties to compel Israel to stop its "dangerous provocations," after a gas drilling ship crossed the so-called Line 29 and entered a sea area disputed by Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. ...
"The Israeli enemy’s attempts to spark a new crisis -- by infringing on Lebanon’s maritime resources and imposing a de facto situation in a disputed area in which Lebanon is adhering to its rights -- is a very dangerous matter that can trigger tensions whose consequences cannot be speculated by anyone," Miqati warned in a statement.

"Based on this, we warn of the repercussions of any wrong step prior to the resumption of the mission of the U.S. mediator, whose recommencement has become more than urgent," the caretaker PM added.

"We also call on the U.N. and all those concerned to contain the situation and compel the Israeli enemy to stop its provocations," Miqati went on to say.

He also underscored that "the solution lies in resuming negotiations" in a manner that preserves "Lebanon’s full right to its resources and waters."
Another An Nahar article names her as the gas drilling ship Energean Power.

Are Behavior Medications Related To Murders?
On Saturday, June 4th, Airandee posed a good question that sparked my curiosity.

"How many of these young murders have been on behavior meds ..."

It seems there have been a number of studies, but the findings are not being given the serious attention needed.

A quick skim shows a number of MASS School and Gathering Shooters were being treated.

[CCHRINT] Psychiatric Drugs & Violence—The Facts

Regulatory Warnings on Violence, Mania, Psychosis, Homicide

Fact: Despite 27 international drug regulatory warnings on psychiatric drugs citing effects of mania, hostility, violence and even homicidal ideation, and dozens of high profile shootings/killings tied to psychiatric drug use, there has yet to be a federal investigation on the link between psychiatric drugs and acts of senseless violence.

Fact: At least 37 school shootings and/or school-related acts of violence have been committed by those taking or withdrawing from psychiatric drugs resulting in 175 wounded and 82 killed (in other school shootings, information about their drug use was never made public—neither confirming or refuting if they were under the influence of prescribed drugs).

Fact: Between 2004 and 2012, there have been 14,773 reports to the U.S. FDA’s MedWatch system on psychiatric drugs causing violent side effects including: 1,531 cases of homicidal ideation/homicide, 3,287 cases of mania & 8,219 cases of aggression. Note: The FDA estimates that less than 1% of all serious events are ever reported to it, so the actual number of side effects occurring are most certainly higher.

Click image to read MANIA—The shocking link between psychiatric drugs, suicide, violence and mass murder

School-related acts of violence aren’t the only cases commonly found to be under the influence of psychiatric drugs. There are 28 other acts of senseless violence committed by individuals taking or withdrawing from psychiatric drugs resulting in an additional 270 dead and 164 wounded.

It looks like the "Magic" mental illness cure pills, that allowed the States to empty their Asylums back in the 1980-90's, is not a safe solution.

The Nut-Jobs just quit taking it, and/or the Insurance Companies quit covering it, or the mental Illness eventually exceeds the Magic Pill's abilities.

Maybe reopening and increasing the capacity of State Mental Asylums for Stage 3 and 4 level, needs to be seriously looked at again.

Of course, the (L-S-D's) will fight it.
Because it will put a big dent in their Gun Control efforts.

Plus, it would properly address the growing Immoral/Decadent behavioral displays, which are mental Illness related, not physically / medically based.

#7  This is a STUPID argument. People with mental/emotional issues are found to be taking drugs that help with mental/emotional issues -- as shocking a discovery as finding a cancer patient is on anti-cancer medication. Finding that not everyone is helped by the drugs is as shocking as finding not everyone on cancer medication is helped, as well.

...A good and needed idea, and one that ain't ever gonna happen.

I and a lot of other people remember when the moves to 'deinstituionalize' started in the late 70s (Way too many people who should know better blame it on Ronald Reagan, which they know isn't true but deflects blame) - real, genuine and horrifying abuses were found, along with the fact that many, many patients were simply being warehoused until they had the decency to die. When the bad news started coming out, almiost every state in the union killed their mental hospital system, promising to bring their carte methods up to date.

Needless to say, that never happened. The money always seemed to end up somewhere else.

Since - for most advocates of the mentally ill - the default setting is that the patients have been/are/will be abused, full open-ended commitment is a fairly rare thing these days. Nothing is going to be done about anyone until they actually commit some atrocity and then are impolite enough to survive the incident...and then, they're going to prison, not anywhere where they can actually get help they should have gotten in the first place. It's far cheaper and easier to deal with the handful of survivors than give them the assistance that might have prevented a disaster.

#12  Paradoxical reactions are a thing. With psych meds, it's a thing to watch closely. Uncontrolled withdrawal from psych meds is a bad deal always.

But they are handed out like candy. Essentially mandated for many boys in elementary school. What a surprise that doesn't go so well...

#13  But they are handed out like candy.

With little followup.

"The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Survey on Drug Use and Health data found that in 2018, 47 million adults over age 18 reported a mental health condition."

#14  And lots of people on various scrip psych drugs go out and trade them for what they really want, which may be other drugs, booze, sex, etc.
Posted by: M. Murcek || 06/06/2022 15:12 Comments || Top||

#15  Most psych drugs have zero value on the recreational market because they have no noticeable effect unless you have the condition they treat. You need massive doses of SSRIs, for example, before you notice an unusual effect, and the result is like a caffeine high you could get cheaper and easier from McDonald's coffee.

The biggest problem is no one bothers to keep an eye on kids who are clearly trouble. The schools milk them for special program money, do the minimum to help them, and never impose discipline because discipline is hard and scary and "male". The police don't pay attention because they're under pressure for revenue enhancement and have to deal with crimes that have happened rather than ones that might happen.

So there's little or no follow-up. Maybe the kid gets sent to a psych by the court or school, maybe gets a prescription for something that MIGHT help. Maybe the kid takes them, maybe not -- you can't be sure whoever has been housing and feeding the kid will make sure they take their meds, because they let problems get that far already.

But "it's those damned drugs" is a cheap, easy answer that appeals to some people's sense of... something. And it's a more appealing conclusion than "bad things happen", I get that.

But bad things happen. Those things aren't always preventable without a police state that would make the East German Stasi think you've gone too far.

#20  Rob Crawford,
I agree with everything you said in #15, but your points don't discredit the initial question in the title to this post, they support that question. You can't give drugs without supervision and follow up, especially to teens.

Most of these shooters are from broken homes as well, another puzzle piece nobody wants to look at, but that doesn't mean the other bits aren't factors as well.
Posted by: ruprecht || 06/06/2022 17:38 Comments || Top||

#21  It should be a simple matter to develop a database with data from each of these mass shootings. Every shooting has facts associated with it that could and should be entered into the database. Some of the facts would be: race, gender, meds found in the shooter's blood, family history of criminal activity, family history of mental problems, the shooter's criminal record, where he bought the gun, what kind of gun, how he paid for the gun, where the shooting took place, how many victims, and on and on.

Once all of this data is organized into proper database tables sql queries could show relationships between the tables, rows and columns. I believe these queries would be highly informative, possibly to the point of suggesting highly effective solutions.

I'd like to believe that the FBI or some other government entity started work on such a project some time ago and, if they did, it would be interesting to see the findings. But, the FBI being the FBI, it's hard to say.

Europe
Mediterranean nations criticize EU solidarity on migrants
[AlAhram] Five European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
nations on the Mediterranean who fear possible waves of refugees driven by hunger out of Africa called Saturday for an end to the EU's ``voluntary'' solidarity on migrants colonists and a better way to redistribute the burden of caring for them.

The Interior ministers from Italia, Cyprus, Greece, Malta and Spain wrapped up two days of talks in Venice amid worries that the blockade of Ukraine grain exports due to Russia's invasion could see huge numbers of refugees from Africa flooding southern Europe.

Cypriot Interior Minister Nicos Nouris told news hounds that robust, common EU policy is needed on migration. ``Solidarity is not a slogan, nor can it be void of substance,'' Nouris said.

Past EU policies in which member countries could offer to receive some of the hundreds of thousands of migrants colonists landing in Italia, Greece and other southern shores proved grossly inadequate.

Many EU countries didn't step forward. Others, even with they did pledge to receive modest numbers of some of the hundreds of thousands of migrants colonists rescued from smugglers' unseaworthy boats, didn't follow through.

``Solidarity in our mind cannot be voluntary,'' Nouris said.

He noted that after several years of Cyprus taking in migrants colonists, now 5% of the eastern Mediterranean island nation's population consists of asylum-seekers.

The meeting did not address the millions of Ukrainian refugees who recently flooded into northern EU nations like Poland, Hungary and Romania.

How Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
handles large numbers of migrants colonists takes on particular urgency now, amid fears that drought in Africa and surging food prices even before the war made shipping Ukrainian grain to Somalia, Egypt and other poor nations impossible could drive up the already alarmingly numbers of hungry people.

In the Sahel, the part of Africa just below the Sahara desert, an estimated 18 million people are facing severe hunger as farmers endure their worst production season in more than a decade.

Italian Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese cited the blocking of grain in Ukraine as just another reason for the EU to develop a ``adequate mechanism of distributing migrants colonists'' among its members.

She also pressed for more repatriation agreements with countries whose people are seeking a better life in Europe but had their asylum bids rejected since they are fleeing poverty, not war or persecution.

Italia has an effective repatriation agreement with Tunisia, but not with most other countries in Africa or in Asia whose citizens take to smugglers' boats to try to reach southern European shores. As a result, even though their asylum applications fail, many migrants colonists remain in Italia, often taking illegal jobs or resorting to begging.

Greece's interior minister expressed support for more legal paths for migration.

``We cannot let smugglers decide who comes to live in Europe,'' minister Notis Mitarachi told news hounds.

THIS SUMMER RUSSIA WILL ANNOUNCETHAT THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER RUSSIAN SUPPLIES OF ANY KIND TO EUROPE UNTIL IT BREAKS WITH WASHINGTON.

What would follow?
Political opinions would change. Governments would be replaced with more pragmatic ones.

France Italy and Germany would either have to leave NATO or become impoverished and irrelevant. U.S. troops on European grounds would be asked to leave or be attacked and thrown out by an enraged public. Germany and Italy would prohibit the U.S. military from using its airspace. The U.S would lose its grip over the continent. The cia and pentagon teams working on the Ukrainian disasters need to be executed.

AFU cleared half of Severodonetsk from Russians - Gaidai
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Vesti] The Ukrainian military cleared half of Severodonetsk from the Russian army. Serhiy Gaidai, the head of the military administration of the Luhansk region, announced this on the air of the telethon on Sunday, June 5.

"From the interceptions, we understand that the commander of the Russian army received two tasks - to capture Severodonetsk and the Lisichansk-Bakhmut highway by June 10," Gaidai said.

He also predicted that in the next five days, the Russians will try to raze the Lugansk region to the ground.

"Evacuation from Severodonetsk is still impossible: about 15,000 people remain in the city. 98 people were rescued from Lisichansk on June 5," the official said in his speech.

According to Gaidai, the Russian Federation gave General Dvornikov until June 10 to capture Severodonetsk. At the same time, according to British intelligence, the Armed Forces of Ukraine counterattacked the invaders in Severodonetsk, probably stopping the preliminary operational breakthrough of the Russian forces.

At the same time, Roman Vlasenko, the head of the Severodonetsk regional VA, said on the air of the national telethon that at the moment street fighting continues in the city. Units of Ukrainian troops, he said, began to recapture the city center.

Vlasenko also confirmed Gaidai's words that the Armed Forces of Ukraine control about 50 percent of Severodonetsk. But he said that about 10 thousand civilians now remain in this part of the city.

Russians destroyed almost fifty religious buildings in the Donetsk region
by Anastacia Pshenichnaya
[Vesti] In the Donetsk region alone, the Russians destroyed 43 religious buildings during the 3 months of the war, most of which belonged to the UOC-MP. This was announced by the head of the Donetsk OVA Pavel Kirilenko in Telegram.

“Yesterday, as a result of the shelling of Svyatogorsk, the All Saints Skete of the Svyatogorsk Lavra burned down, but this is far from the first religious building destroyed by the Russians. cell of the Svyatogorsk Lavra, killing four monks. In total, Russians have already destroyed or damaged at least 43 religious buildings in the region - the vast majority of them belonged to the Moscow Patriarchate, " Kirilenko said.

Kirilenko is confident that these attacks are the deliberate destruction of any manifestations of Ukrainian culture.

The day before in the Donetsk region on Saturday, a large-scale fire engulfed the All Saints Skete of the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra. The UOC-MP stated that this happened "as a result of hostilities."

The clown prince of Chechnya, Kadyrov says otherwise:
Kadyrov again announced the control of Russian troops over the residential area of Severodonetsk

[REGNUM] The head of Chechnya , Ramzan Kadyrov , posted another video proving that Russian military personnel have taken control of the residential zone of Severodonetsk in the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR). The footage was published in the telegram channel of the head of the region.

It is noted that the video was recorded by the assistant to the head of Chechnya in the power bloc Apta Alaudinov , who “rolled through the streets” of Severodonetsk LPR, “talked to the sellers of the working store ” and emphasized that “ local residents have not seen a single Nazi over the past few days, but about whose “The offensive was not heard at all.”

"Friends, I have repeatedly stated and confirmed by video recordings the fact of taking the entire residential area of the city of Severodonetsk. The Akhmat fighters in these videos moved freely along the main street and the central avenue of the city," Kadyrov wrote, noting that Ukrainian nationalists continue to hang “noodles on their ears” that Severodonetsk is under the control of the Ukrainian authorities.

Recall that on June 2, the assistant to the head of Chechnya, Apta Alaudinov, told reporters that the residential development of the city of Severodonetsk in the LPR was completely liberated from Ukrainian armed occupiers.

West has long embarked on the path of severing relations with Russia -- Zakharova
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[RIA Novosti] The collective West, led by the United States, has long embarked on the path of breaking off relations with Russia, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on the air of the Italian TV channel La7.

"The collective West, led by the United States, began to dominate the EU space . From a political point of view, the European Union does not exist without the United States. And this Collective West, led by the United States, has long since moved on to breaking off relations with Russia.

At first, we were not given the opportunity to build gas pipelines to Europe. Who did it? The United States, which forbade, in particular, Germany to build a gas pipeline, saying that Europe should not receive Russian gas," Zakharova said.

According to her, another example of this problem is the visa facilitation talks that have been going on for 20 years.

“It was the EU that practically interrupted these negotiations and facilitated the visa regime for Moldova without explaining anything to us,” the representative of the foreign ministry emphasized.

Relations between Russia and the West deteriorated due to the situation in Ukraine. The European Union, the United States and some other states have imposed new sanctions on individuals, banks and companies. They also closed the sky for Russian aircraft. Restrictive measures turned into economic problems for the States themselves and their allies and rising prices for fuel and products.

According to President Vladimir Putin , the policy of containing and weakening Russia is a long-term strategy for unfriendly countries, and the main goal of the United States and Europe is to worsen the lives of millions of people.

"Do you have to let it linger?"
Host of the Italian channel La7 became ill after an interview with Zakharova

[REGNUM] The host of the La7 channel on Italian television, Massimo Giletti, felt unwell after completing an interview with the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. The incident occurred on June 6 during a conversation between the TV presenter and the guests of the Non è l'Arena program.

Giletti was in touch with the studio in Rome from Moscow, and after completing the interview with Zakharova via Skype, he began to discuss it with the guests of the TV show. However, after a few minutes, the guests of the program and co-host Giletti noticed that he was uneasy. The co-host shouted: “Help Massimo!” After which the ad block was turned on, the incident itself was not shown on the air.

After the advertisement, co-host Giletti explained that his health suddenly worsened and the program continued without him. The Italian journalist returned to the air some time later and explained that the cause of the malaise could be a lack of sugar or unusually cool weather in Moscow. Giletti's first aid, according to him, was provided by Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov.

Earlier , REGNUM reported that the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova , spoke about the iron curtain that the EU is building around Russia and about who benefits from the break in relations between Europe and Russia.

A court in Dusseldorf said on May 31 that the Tajik men, aged 25 to 34, were sentenced to prison terms between three years and eight months to nine years and six months.

According to the court, the five men were in contact with groups involved in the Stockholm truck attack of April 2017 and those involved in the killing of four people in Vienna in November 2020.

Investigators said at the trial that in 2020, the group planned to murder a critic of Islam, but police thwarted the attack.

Before their arrest, the five Tajiks lived in different cities in Germany’s western North Rhine Westphalia region.

Tajik authorities say that since 2013, some 2,000 Tajik citizens have joined IS and other terrorist groups led by Islamist gunnies in Syria and Iraq.

Hundreds of them were killed and maimed there, while some managed to return to Tajikistan. Many of those who came back were amnestied, but some were handed lengthy prison terms on terrorism and mercenary charges.

But this motivation and preparation is not enough to defeat Russia without weapons."

18:51 It is possible to drive the Russians out of Severodonetsk, but the city does not have "huge strategic importance," head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai said in an interview with Suspilny: "The military command must make a decision here, because it is possible to drive the Russians out of Severodonetsk, this task is within our power "The only thing is, what will be the next step? According to the head of the financial committee Daniil Getmantsev, the bill will be submitted to the Rada next week. We are talking about writing off debt on loans to property that was destroyed during the hostilities - both real estate and cars.

13:28 The cause of yesterday's grandiose fire in the Nikolaev port was the hit of a shell in warehouses with grain meal, the mayor of the city Alexander Senkevich reports with reference to the data of the State Emergency Service, specifying that the fire broke out on an area of 10 thousand square meters. The fire is still being extinguished.

13:14 In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the enemy purposefully fired at settlements, said the head of the OVA Valentin Reznichenko. According to him, as a result of the night shelling of the Zelenodolsk community, people were not injured, but two houses were destroyed, six more and the library were damaged.

13:11 Men who are trying to illegally leave Ukraine abroad have been detected since the first day of a full-scale war, but this is not a mass phenomenon, Vadym Denisenko, an adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, said on the telethon.

“There are different schemes, it happens differently in different regions, but one way or another, I can’t say that this is a mass movement. That is, there are indeed isolated cases, there are groups that are engaged in this, but to say that that thousands of men go abroad is not true," Denisenko said. According to him, on average, such men pay from 5 to 15 thousand dollars for illegal border crossing.

13:06 In Kiev and the region, there is an intensification of the sabotage work of Russians , Vadym Denisenko, an adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, said on the air of the telethon: "The Russians have really stepped up their sabotage work. They are recruiting people, mainly from the occupied territories, these are Donetsk and Luhansk regions, these are people who at least they understand, and sometimes they can even speak Ukrainian, in order to later transfer them to other regions of Ukraine and carry out certain terrorist attacks here.

Denisenko added that there was a period when the DRGs calmed down somewhat, but now they have become active again, they are detained "relatively regularly." But, according to him, the results of the work of the DWG are minimal and almost come to naught.

12:59 The Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council reports that the Russians fired at the center of Donetsk to create a propaganda picture. The actions of propagandists are aimed at intimidating the inhabitants of the occupied territories and justifying the "special operation". At the same time, eyewitnesses from Donetsk report that the shots were fired from the Kuibyshev region and from Makiivka, which has a lot of confirmation in social networks.

12:34 Russians are massively trying to avoid direct combat clashes with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and leave the territory of Ukraine, despite the threats of criminal liability, Kadyrov’s guard detachments and increased control by special officers and border guards, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reports.

Thus, the command of the 30th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 2nd combined arms army of the Russian Federation hides mass cases of desertion and threatens soldiers with executions. One of the units of the brigade was detained while trying to cross the border near the Shiyan checkpoint (Belgorod region) and forcibly returned to the zone of active hostilities. Now the unit is discussing the possibility of surrendering to the Ukrainians.

12:27 Yermak commented on the shelling of Kiev and Macron’s call to “not humiliate” the Russian Federation: “There are proposals from some countries to“ not humiliate ”Russia. At the same time, they are shelling us: our cities, people ... They have been trying to take our territories, and for eight years how some of them are occupied. This can be stopped by strong diplomacy, economic sanctions and weapons. And the responsibility for the crimes, the genocide of Ukrainians should be as tough as possible. The responsibility of the aggressor is not humiliation, but justice."

12:25 The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that high-precision missiles on the outskirts of Kiev destroyed "T-72 tanks supplied by Eastern European countries and other armored vehicles placed in the buildings of a car repair enterprise." And in Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka and Chasov Yar, “factory workshops where Ukrainian military equipment was repaired” were allegedly destroyed.

12:23 Putin said that at the time of the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, there were about 515 MLRS in the combat composition of the Ukrainian army, of which 380 were allegedly destroyed, but some were restored, taken from stocks. According to him, the US supply of missile systems to Ukraine "is connected with replenishing the losses of Ukrainian military equipment, it does not change anything in essence."

12:21 In the Kharkiv region over the past day, as a result of enemy shelling, six people were injured, the head of the OVA Oleg Sinegubov said. The shelling of the Kharkiv and Chuguev districts of the region continues, the settlements of Tsirkuny, Dergachi and the surrounding villages, Chuguev, Korobochkino and Chkalovskoye, Malinovka, Balakleya suffered. And in the Cherkasy Tishki area, phosphorus ammunition was used.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy is trying to fire at the positions of Ukrainian defenders and hold on to the previously captured territories, in the Izyum region, the Russians are attempting an offensive in the directions of Dovgenkoye - Dolina and Brazhkovka - Vernopolye, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding positions.

12:14 The head of the Donetsk OVA, Pavel Kirilenko, said that in the region, the invaders have already destroyed or damaged at least 43 religious buildings, and the vast majority of them belonged to the Moscow Patriarchate. In Svyatogorsk itself, which unites three monuments of architecture and culture, the Russians damaged the historical and architectural museum, destroyed the temple, two sketes and two cells of the Svyatogorsk Lavra, killing four monks.
Destroying their own branch of the faith? Not very Christian of them.
12:04 The operational command of Pivden specified that in the Nikolaev region two cruise missiles that were shot down by air defense flew from the direction of the Black Sea and from the territory of Russia. Air-launched missiles attacked the Black Sea coast of the Nikolaev region, ports and granaries.

11:24 On Saturday, June 4, the Russians fired at the Korotich airfield in the Kharkiv region for the third time, the Kharkiv flying club reports. V. Grizodubova. Two hangars, light sports and training aircraft were destroyed. There are no victims. Six-meter funnels were formed from the blows. There were no military planes or helicopters on the territory of the airfield, says the head of the flying club Sergey Filatov.

11:21 Russians fired at Kiev from Tu-95 planes from the Caspian Sea. Around 06:00, units of the Air Command Center discovered enemy missiles and fired at them. One missile was destroyed, the rest flew to the target.

11:15 Putin said that if Kiev receives long-range missiles, Russia will "draw conclusions" and use its weapons "on those objects that have not been hit yet."

10:31 Russians fired at several cities of Donetsk region, including Slavyansk. According to the mayor of the city, Vadim Lyakh, the rockets flew into the non-residential sector, there were no casualties or destruction.

10:29 Podolyak commented on today's missile attacks on Kiev: "While someone asks" not to humiliate Russia, "the Kremlin resorts to new insidious attacks. Today's missile attacks on Kiev have only one goal - to kill more Ukrainians. Each such act of terrorism should receive tough response from European capitals - new sanctions, more weapons."

10:23 Head of the African Union, President of Senegal Maki Sall, will arrive in Kiev. However, he has not yet announced the date of the visit. The other day, Sall visited Moscow, where he tried to negotiate with Putin on the unblocking of Ukrainian ports and the restoration of maritime grain exports. Now he wants to meet with the leadership of Ukraine.

09:48 Today early in the morning Russians struck Ochakov of the Nikolaev area, houses are damaged, the regional military administration reported.

09:30 The enemy has lost about 20% of the territory of Severodonetsk and now controls half of the city, said the head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai on the air of the telethon. According to him, after the Ukrainian counterattacks, eight Russians were captured.

09:24 British intelligence reports that over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have launched counterattacks in Severodonetsk, which likely nullified the operational momentum that Russian forces had previously gained through the concentration of combat units and firepower. Russian forces deployed in the area include personnel mobilized from the "LPR" reserve. These troops are poorly equipped and trained, they lack heavy equipment compared to the regular units of the Russian Federation.

The use of such proxy infantry for city clearing operations is a Russian tactic previously used in Syria, where the Russian Federation deployed the Syrian Army's 5th Corps to attack urban areas. This approach likely indicates a desire to limit casualties among regular Russian forces, analysts say.

09:20 To get drinking water in Mariupol, now you need to sign up for a queue that lasts from two days, said the mayor's adviser Petr Andryushchenko. The main reason is the falling water level in natural springs. A further reduction in water supplies is predicted for natural reasons - due to the summer heat.

Andryushchenko also said that the volume of "humanitarian aid" from the occupiers has decreased, now it is issued exclusively to people of retirement age. Everything else - only through the "work". Young people are forced to sign up for "teams" and help mobile patrols, incl. in filtration measures. For refusal, they threaten with mobilization into the "DPR" army.

09:15 Today at about 5:30 a Russian cruise missile, similar to a Kalibr-type missile, flew critically low over the South Ukrainian nuclear power plant, Energoatom reported. Probably, the rocket was fired towards Kyiv. The company called it an act of nuclear terrorism and stressed that even the smallest fragment of a rocket that can get into a working power unit can cause a nuclear catastrophe and radiation leakage.

09:12 In Severodonetsk, the Russians fired at Azot, in Lisichansk - the police and post offices, one person died, two were injured, said the head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai.

09:10 Over Nikolayevshchina two enemy rockets are destroyed, the speaker of Odessa OVA Sergey Bratchuk reported, referring to command of Naval Forces of Ukraine.

Information on the victims is being clarified, said the head of the Dnepropetrovsk OVA, Valentin Reznichenko.

08:50 In the Kiev OVA reported that the air defense shot down an enemy missile over the Obukhov region.

08:35 Experts from the American Institute for the Study of War believe that Ukrainian forces successfully repel Russian attempts to encircle them in the Lugansk region, as well as Russian attacks in Severodonetsk - "due to cautious and effective local counterattacks in the city and the defense of the western bank of the Seversky Donets River."

08:24 The invaders fired at the territory in the Brovary district of the Kiev region this morning, the mayor of the city Igor Sapozhko said. There is no information about the destruction in the Brovary community, but the smell of carbon monoxide is felt in the city, residents are asked to close their windows and not go outside.

08:13 The Russians launched an air missile attack on the industrial facilities of Kramatorsk, Mayor Alexander Goncharenko said. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties, but there are serious damages at two enterprises of the city.

07:59 Russian invaders used phosphorus munitions in the area of the Cherkasy Tishki settlement in the Kharkiv region. The enemy continued to launch missile and air strikes, including on Kiev and is conducting offensive operations in the Donbass, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports in the morning report .

In the Slavic direction, the enemy has completed the regrouping of troops, the units are advancing in the directions Dolgenka - Dolina and Brazhkovka - Vernopolye. Also, the enemy is attacking Svyatogorsk, trying to push the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the right bank of the Seversky Donets.

Near the Lisichansk-Bakhmut highway near the border of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions, the enemy is conducting an offensive along the Nyrkovo-Nikolaevka line - this is necessary to capture the dominant heights. And in the Davydov Brod area of the Kherson region, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine recently launched a counteroffensive, Russian forces tried to recapture the villages of Lozovoe and Dry Stavok on the left bank of the Ingulets, but to no avail.

07:54 Russia launched missile strikes on the Darnitsky and Dneprovsky districts of Kyiv. Klitschko said that there were no casualties as a result of missile attacks on infrastructure facilities, one victim was hospitalized.

00:12 The Russians forcibly deported part of the population of Severodonetsk to the occupied territory, said the head of the CAA, Alexander Stryuk, on the air of the telethon. Answering a question about the number of people who remain in the city, he pointed out that before the start of the assault, there were about 13 thousand people in Severodonetsk. "Considering that constant street fighting has been going on for the third day, the population that was, it remains, with the exception of a small part that the orcs managed to forcibly remove from the city to the occupied territory," he added.

Syria condemns Turkey’s ‘hostile’ action in north of country
[Rudaw] Syria on Saturday condemned The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
’s recent attacks in the north of the country, calling them a "violation of international law" and its illusory sovereignty, as Ankara continues its recently launched operations targeting Kurdish fighters.

Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement saying they were following the "hostile" actions by Turkey, and its constant violations of Syrian illusory sovereignty "which has claimed the lives of a number of innocent people."

In late May, Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than there are in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really most important...
announced a new military offensive into northern Syria to create a 30 kilometer "safe zone" along its southern border. It is aimed to push back Kurdish fighters from the area.

"The hostile threats of the Ottoman Turkish regime constitute a blatant violation of international law and the illusory sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic," read the statement from the Syrian ministry, adding that the recent operation undermined the previously reached understandings about "de-escalation".

The statements coincided with ongoing Ottoman Turkish bombardment in parts of northern Syria. At least six soldiers of the Syrian army were maimed as a result of Ottoman Turkish shelling in Tel Tamer’s Umm al-Kif village on Saturday, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

...a formerly good idea gone bad...
have all expressed concern in regards to Turkey’s latest military operation, urging Ankara to maintain the current ceasefire lines.

Erdogan on Wednesday said Ankara was clearing Tal Rifaat and Manbij from "terrorists," a term it uses to refer to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and groups it alleges to be affiliated to them, as a part of its new military operation in northern Syria.

Dozens of shells targeted villages and district Manbij in an offensive that started on late Thursday evening and continued until the morning hours of Friday.

Turkey has launched two offensives against Kurdish fighters in Syria since 2018. It alleges that the fighters are allied with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), an gang fighting for the increased rights of Kurds in Turkey and is viewed as a terrorist organization by Ankara.

#17  People can believe whatever makes them feel better about themselves and their governments, yet the truth remains: the West is funding Russia's war effort, and Russia has captured three times as much territory as they held on February 24.

There's no other conclusion. Russia is winning the war. The West has lost the economic war. Ukraine is being slaughtered and dismembered.

It's certainly understandable that we in the West wish to believe that our leaders are pursuing wise policies and have our best interests at heart.

I can well understand why Americans wish to believe that President Biden is striking blows for freedom and democracy, and standing up to aggression, by begging Maduro and the Venezuelan communists to please please bail out the West.

Or that Biden is standing tall in Riyadh and begging similar favors of the Arab king whom he insulted and whose nation he vowed to make into a "pariah" just a few months ago.

Biden is wise, far-seeing and noble, Biden is doing all that can be done to protect us and make the world safe and prosperous -- yes. Biden would never put the ball into our own net.

It is very difficult to persuade Americans to stop pursuing a losing cause when it involves spending a trillion dollars or more on an overseas war for "freedom" and "democracy."

Americans persisted with their disaster in Vietnam for over a decade, their fiasco in Iraq for another decade and their debacle in Afghanistan for two decades.

It's really extraordinary how far American foreign gn policy has fallen since the time of Nixon and Kissinger.

Any competent American president would have easily avoided war with Russia over such a trivial matter. Crimea was a non-issue, a sleeping dog -- trivial by comparison to far more difficult issues such as Taiwan or the Middke Eastern regional balance.

"Putin has found ample alternative markets for Russian oil and gas in Asia. In particular, both India and China are not infected with “green new deal ideology” demonizing hydrocarbon fuels. Realizing the cost-efficiency of coal, oil, and natural gas, India and China represent a large and growing export opportunity for Russian hydrocarbon fuels.

"At the same time, Putin has quietly placed the ruble back on the gold standard, positioning the ruble to rise to the top against the diminished purchasing power of the overprinted dollar and euro fiat currencies."

More plainly, I guess: It does no good to say “this one ought to win because...” There is no way of knowing until the game is actually played to the end — or in this case the war fought to the end — who actually wins and loses depends as much on the heart and stubbornness of the fighters as it does on the size and equipment of the armies.

Napoleon said, "Morale is to material as three is to one." Putting aside the propaganda of both sides, we have no way of knowing which side will win until after one side has conclusively won. Pushing for premature negotiation based on the claim that one outcome is assured only guarantees there will be a rematch.

Africa Subsaharan
Nigeria: Dozens feared dead after gunmen attack church
[DW] According to local reports, the attackers entered a Catholic church in Ondo state and opened fire on worshippers.

Gunmen have killed several worshippers in a Catholic church in southwestern Nigeria, the state governor said on Sunday.

Anakunrin Akeredolu, the governor of the Ondo state, condemned the "vile and satanic" attack on the St. Francis Church, vowing to capture the assailants and achieve justice.

"I urge our people to remain calm and vigilant. Do not take laws into your hands. I have spoken to the heads of the security agencies. I have equally been assured that security operatives would be deployed to monitor and restore normality to Owo kingdom," Akeredolu tweeted.

Adelegbe Timileyin, representative of Ondo’s Owo area in the country’s lower legislative chamber, said the church’s presiding priest was kidnapped during the attack. The politician also put the corpse count at over 50 people.

President Muhammadu Buhari condemned the attack, calling it "heinous."

WHAT HAPPENED DURING THE ATTACK?
The assailants stormed the church in the midst of the Sunday service, opening fire at the worshippers, local media reported. Some explosives were also used, but initial reports suggest the majority of injuries were due to gunshots.

The victims reportedly included members of the congregation, as well as children.

The identities of the perpetrators, who expeditiously departed at a goodly pace shortly after the attack, have yet to be confirmed. Local reports have pointed the finger at Fulani
... a peculiarly brutal tribe of Moslem herdsmen infesting Mali, Niger, Nigeria, and probably other places that are light on law and order and heavy on tribal identity...
Herdsmen, suggesting members of the nomadic group carried out the attack to send a message to the governor.

Akeredolu’s recent policies have been seen as restrictive to the herdsmen’s activities in the state of Ondo.

Although Nigeria has witnessed acts of violence in recent years, such incidents have mostly centred in the northwest of Africa’s most populous country. The southwest — and Ondo state in particular — is regarded as a place of relative peace and calm.

Update from the Daily Mail at 6:50 a.m., courtesy of Skidmark:
The violence at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo town, in Ondo State, happened during the morning service on Pentecost Sunday in a rare attack in the southwest of the African country.

A witness, who gave his name as Abayomi, said at least 20 worshippers had died in the attack.

'I was passing through the area when I heard a loud explosion and gunshots inside the church,' he continued.

He said he saw at least five gunmen on the church premises before he ran away for safety.

Gun and bomb attacks are rare in Ondo state, but Nigeria's military is battling a 12-year-old jihadist insurgency in the northeast, kidnapping gangs in the northwest and separatist agitation in the southeast.

Nigeria's security forces did not immediately respond to enquiries as to how the attack occurred or if there are any leads about suspects. Owo is about 215 miles east of Lagos.

#1  When is the UN going to start investigating Christophobia like they are doing with Islamophobia? This is just one of dozens attacks on Christians that have killed hundres or even thousands in the last decade or so. Yet, aftera relativelyminor attack on a mosque, the UN sets up a commission to prevent Islamophobia.

By definition, a phobia is an IRRATIONAL fear of something. The person who suffers from the phobia is aware that it is irrational.

My fear and mistrust of Islam is definitely rational.

Fundamentalist Islamic Group Still Active In Kyrgyzstan Despite Ban And Crackdown
[RFERL] Kyrgyz security services say the banned Yakyn Inkar religious group
...also spelt Yaqyn Inkar, because Radio Free Europe does not have a stylebook entry for the group...
remains active in the country, running underground schools and promoting its ideology despite being outlawed as an holy warrior organization five years ago.

At least two suspected cell leaders of Yakyn Inkar were arrested in separate raids in the southern Osh Province and the northern Chui region in late March and May, respectively.

Destroying USA as Fast as Nazis on Meth
[Gateway] I’m a Jewish American and I understand my history. The speed with which Biden and his Marxist handlers are destroying America and the US economy has never been seen in world history- except for Nazi Germany.

I call this "THE BIDEN BLITZKRIEG."

Because I compare what’s happening to America today to the Nazi Blitzkrieg. The Nazi Army conquered Europe at a speed never before seen in world history. Do you know how the Nazi’s did it?

#3  ...FWIW, the book 'Blitzed' is one of the most fascinating pieces of history I've read in a while. The author makes a compelling case that meth and other narcotics may well have extended the war by a year or better.

Afghanistan
Anti-Taliban forces finding their feet again

Resistance® to the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
Islamist group’s interim government that seized power in August 2021 is growing both inside and outside Afghanistan.

The National Resistance® Front of Afghanistan (NRF) has resumed its fight against the Taliban, and influential leaders of various ethnic groups also have started assembling an anti-Taliban force. However,
death is not the end. There remains the litigation over the estate...
the United States and Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
are focusing their resources on the response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, so support from the international community has fallen short of what the anti-Taliban forces had been expecting.

According to multiple sources, the NRF declared it had resumed hostilities in the eastern province of Panjshir in early May. The NRF reportedly has attacked Taliban strongholds in that area. "The Taliban suffered many casualties, and the hospital was filled with injured Taliban fighters," a local resident told The Yomiuri Shimbun in a telephone interview.

Panjshir was the bastion of the Northern Alliance that fought against the former Taliban government that wielded power from 1996 to 2001. The NRF is currently headed by Ahmad Massoud, the son of former Northern Alliance leader and national hero Ahmad Shah Massoud.

The NRF has continued to fight against the Taliban since it seized power. The front paused hostilities over winter, regrouped and made preparations for the resumption of its combat operations. As domestic displeasure with the hardline rulers mounts, the NRF is calling for people across Afghanistan to rise up against the Taliban.

The uprising led by the "hero’s son" has been a major thorn in the Taliban’s side. On May 20, the Taliban mobilized several thousand fighters in Panjshir and launched a mop-up operation targeting the NRF. Reports that multiple local residents had been killed also flew back and forth.

‘ONE UMBRELLA’
Anti-Taliban movements also are afoot overseas. On May 17, Abdul Rashid Dostum
...ethnic Uzbek warlord who distinguished himself fighting the Soviets and the Taliban. The story that he had a bad guy run over with a tank is an exaggeration. It was an armored personnel carrier...
, an ethnic Uzbek leader and a former Afghan vice president in the previous administration that collapsed, opened the first meeting of the Supreme Council of National Resistance® in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
’s capital, Ankara. About 40 powerful leaders representing the Pashtun, Tajik and Hazara
...a grouping of Dari-speaking people of Sino-Tibetan descent inhabiting Afghanistan and Pakistain. They are predominantly Shia Moslems and not particularly warlike, which makes them favored targets...
ethnic groups attended what turned out to be the "largest anti-Taliban meeting" since the Afghan government was toppled. The council agreed to bring together their various forces under "one umbrella," and called on the Taliban to form an inclusive administration. The council indicated it would be willing to launch military operations if the Taliban refused this demand.

These anti-Taliban forces had been counting on assistance from the international community. However,
death is not the end. There remains the litigation over the estate...
this lifeline has largely failed to materialize because the United States and Europe are up to their necks dealing with the invasion of Ukraine and, as things stand, lack the wherewithal to seriously get involved in Afghan matters. There are serious concerns that anti-Taliban forces could end up isolated and fighting without support if the international community fails to come through with assistance.

TERROR ATTACKS
These forces are not the Taliban’s only headache. Militant organizations such as the krazed killer Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group have been launching terrorist attacks in Afghanistan. Islamic State has grabbed credit for three explosions that killed nine people in the northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif on Wednesday. The Taliban’s efforts to bring stability and security to the nation have failed to make progress, and this turmoil is increasingly affecting residents’ daily lives.

Since regaining power, the Taliban has ignored international criticism and become increasingly oppressive, such as by closing junior high and high schools for girls. Some observers are worried that the Taliban, if it fears that civilians are siding with the anti-Taliban forces, could accelerate moves to control freedom of speech and security across Afghanistan.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
From the Russian Perspective: Operation on Denazification of Ukraine: operational summary June 5th (updated)
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[NewsFrontInfo] 21:32 "We want to live in a free and new country on the territory of Kherson. So that we can be confident in the future"

The former commander of the 194th Battalion of the so-called Terodefense of Ukraine Dmitry Kuzmenko, together with his wife, went to the passport office of Kherson and applied for Russian citizenship.
So called coz that's what it’s called.
18:29 During the fighting near Nikolayev, the commander of the 18th battalion of the 35th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel Sergei Derduga, was killed.

17:47 Ukrainians report that Mustafa Nayem's brother, lawyer Masi Nayem, was wounded in the head. This "lawyer" is known primarily for defending the Odessa scumbag Sergei Sternenko in court.

17:21 The situation in the north of the Kharkiv region as of 17.00 June 5, 2022:

The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counterattack on the positions of the Russian Armed Forces north of Kharkov.

▪️Fighting has been going on in Tsupovka since yesterday. According to the very bold statements of local residents, the Armed Forces of Ukraine already control Tsupovka and are about to continue their attack on Kazachya Lopan. There is no actual confirmation of this, artillery strikes are being carried out on Cossack Lopan.

▪️The second direction of impact is the Great Passages. Despite the withdrawal of Ukrainian units from the vicinity of the Pitomnik, today the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to regain the initiative.

▪️On the eastern flank, fighting is going on in the Ternovaya area and at the boundary between Rubizhnoye and Stary Saltov. The Armed Forces of Ukraine transferred armored vehicles and reinforcements from the National Guard.

▪️Launchers of the Grad MLRS were deployed in Zolochiv, and active work of foreign MANPADS was noted in Chernoglazovka and Cherkasskiye Tishki.

▪️The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to strengthen on the eastern bank of the Seversky Donets. Fortified areas are equipped in the vicinity of the Pecheneg reservoir and Khotomli. The section of the road from Khotomli to Primorsky is under the actual control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

▪️The Russian Armed Forces launched strikes on the Korotych airfield in the suburbs of Kharkov, where, according to preliminary information, Ukrainian MiG-29s were deployed

16:20 CAA of Kherson region introduces a procedure for managing all facilities and property

"All property that is located on the territory of the Kherson region - real estate technological objects that are state property - is currently the state property of the Kherson region. A property fund has been created, the responsibility of which is to register and register all such objects. Absolutely everyone - both former state and private owners" said the head of the military-civilian administration of the region Vladimir Saldo.

14:35 Father Nikolai -the only one who stayed here from all the ministers of the church. People still live in the basement of the Holy Ascension Cathedral in Izyum.

14:15 In Lisichansk, the headquarters of the VFU was destroyed.

13:05 The RF Armed Forces destroyed T-72 tanks supplied by Eastern European countries with a missile attack on the outskirts of Kyiv.

This is reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

▪️Russian aviation shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 during an air battle in the Slavyansk region

▪️High-precision missiles destroyed the factory workshops in Kramatorsk, where military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was being repaired.

▪️As a result of other missile strikes, the following were destroyed:

- Two launchers of the Osa-AKM air defense system in the Cherkasskoye and Orekhovo regions.

- Two MLRS combat vehicles in the Korotych area.

- Three depots of rocket and artillery weapons in the Slavyansk region.

- US counter-battery radar AN/TPQ-50 in the Seversk region.

▪️Russian air defense shot down:

- An-26 military transport aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, carrying weapons.

- 10 unmanned aerial vehicles. Including in the Berezovka area - "Bayraktar TB2"

- Two tactical missiles "Tochka-U" in the Novogeorgievka area.

11:52 Kyiv. Arrival at the Darnytsky Car Repair Plant.

11:30 Putin: "If Kyiv receives long-range missiles, Russia will draw conclusions and use its means of destruction on those objects that have not yet been struck."

11:24 The fuss over additional deliveries of weapons to Kyiv has only one goal - "to drag out the armed conflict as far as possible" - Putin.

11:10 Power heavy flamethrower systems in the Nikolaev-Kherson direction. TOSs proved themselves well during the special operation, and even Arestovich published videos of the use of systems on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian propaganda has been telling for many years that heavy flamethrower systems "Solntsepyok" are working against the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

11:05 The result of yesterday's missile attack on the port in Nikolaev. Depot of fuel and lubricants and ammunition was destroyed.

10:25 Personnel combat work of crews of 203mm Pion self-propelled artillery mounts. Artillerymen destroyed equipped firing positions and observation posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine located in the forest. Artillery was guided by drones. After firing, the battery moved to spare positions to exclude the possibility of an enemy retaliatory strike. Crews of the 203mm self-propelled guns "Pion" conducted live firing with high-explosive fragmentation shells at a distance of up to 30 kilometers.

10:20 The main results of the SVO in Ukraine for June 4, 2022:

The Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed the training center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region. In the Donbass, the allied forces are systematically developing success.

➖There are battles for Bogorodichne, the Valley and the surrounding forests.
➖In Svyatogorsk, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to cling to urban development.
➖Foreign mercenaries were transferred to Severodonetsk. As a result of the counterattack, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to oust the RF Armed Forces from the western outskirts of Sirotino and from the village of Lesnaya Dacha.
➖The People's Militia of the LPR continues its offensive against Mirnaya Dolina.
➖Intense shelling of Donetsk continues: at least five people were killed as a result of the artillery attack.

In the Zaporozhye region, the RF Armed Forces attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Poltavka and Zeleny Guy. Numerous strikes were inflicted on targets in Nikolaev. A Ukrainian military transport plane was shot down near Odessa.

10:11 Biden as analyst: Ukraine may have to give territory to Russia as part of a negotiated settlement. Source: New York Post.

09:50 Russian Ministry of Defense published personnel combat work of crews of 203mm Pion self-propelled artillery mounts during a special military operation.

09:45 El Pais reported that the Spanish authorities are ready to send tanks and anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine.

08:53 In the morning, Kyiv was covered by a missile attack. Apparently, they decided to show this bloody clown that no one will allow them to shoot at Donetsk with impunity. The purposes are exclusively military. We, unlike these bastards, do not fight with civilians.

08:23 In Vasilyevka, the liberated part of the Zaporozhye region, the monument to the Red Guards was returned to its former appearance.

#1  Russia will win the war in the Ukraine, take the south and east to likely create a new country and leave the rest of the cadaver for Poland, Hungary, Romania, Lithuania and others to feast on.
After that, the USA will loose Europe
Germany Italy France will integrate with the Eurasia block
The inflation in the us will become a devaluation of the USA currency. NATO IS DEAD.

Elon Musk asks why 'leaking' DOJ won't spill Epstein client list: 'Doesn't that seem odd?'
[FoxBusiness] Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, said the DOJ, which grew notoriety for leaking under former President Donald Trump, was remarkably silent about the deceased convicted pedophile.
