#3 The idiots don't seem to understand that the energy stored in a spinning disk is huge. In early hard disks (1950s to say 1975) where you had the 12" to 20" diameter drives when one failed you could kill people even outside the computer room as shards blew out from the spinning disk breaking up.

#4 The formula for the energy in a spinning disk (rotational kinetic energy) is: KE = (1/2) * I * ω², where "KE" is the kinetic energy, "I" is the moment of inertia of the disk, and "ω" is its angular velocity.

So that their beloved Iran would get nukes in a timely manner, providing what they saw as a kinder inevitable Muslim overlord than the jihadis supported by Saudi Arabia, et al would do. The Obama administration worked hard to guide the decline, as Jimmy Carter had done in his turn, and all the British governments for generations except Margaret Thatcher, and Angela Merkel by opening Germany to Syrian refugees.
