Why are we discussing Reparations at all?

It fails so many legal and constitutional law tests to even be discussed.

#6 Merrick, only about 360,000 of those Civil War deaths can be counted - the others died on behalf of the Confederacy. (And even of the 360,000, over 200,000 died of accident or disease.)

An actuary would value a life today at $10 million. So 360k lives are equivalent to restitution / reparations of $3.6 trillion in today's dollars.

Add in the trillions in post-Great Society transfers and the debt is more than paid off.
