#1 Domestic convert: Jack Terrence Thomas, a 29-year-old former Melbourne taxi driver converted to Islam and left Australia in March 2001. Thomas's Indonesian wife and child live in the Melbourne suburb of Williamstown. She says he was a religious student and his attendance at Taliban or al-Qaeda camps would have been for spiritual instruction.
No doubt learning all about holy handgrenades.

I have in my records, proof that one American website - www.islamway.org - was recruiting for al-Qaeda, two weeks before 911. And Islamway is an organ of the Islamic Society of North America - the front of Qazi Hussain Ahmad's Jamaat-i-Islami - whose onetime American leader - Muzammil Siddiqi - dictated the "islam is peace" statement, which President Bush recited on September 17, 2001.

Folks, affirmation is much more honest than denial.
