#1 The mosquito-borne Chikungunya virus is an ongoing problem in RĂ©union, causing muscle pain and fever. More than 30,000 islanders have been affected since early 2005. The virus is not life-threatening but has no vaccine. Travellers should be aware that French troops will be spraying the whole island during February to try to cull mosquito numbers.

So all you tourists stay away!

#2 Thats a name I haven't heard on Guam since childhood - anyhoo hoo, reminds me of all that nasty green-black herbal medicines my aunts used to make us kids take. Worse stuff any kid could ever taste, but it worked.
