#1 This was talked about in the islamic press after Oct 7. There was a larger plan at play. Iran and Hezbollah both took shots at Hamas Leadership and their bloodlust - effectively ruining a decade of planning and infrastructure building (terror tunnels).

Be Palestinian, ruin everything, even battle plans to invade and genocide the jews. Losers.
