#4 The virus' gene sequence was actually re-mapped correctly by Israeli scientists at the Migal Galilee institute, after the initial data from China was found to be faulty. They're already in testing phase.

With any sense, the free world will not eagerly share the result of their labours with islamic nations. I'd gladly wear the albatross of having hoarded a cure while Gawd sorted 'em out.

#8 I may be mistaken, grom. I'm only aware of the exchanges and discussions, can't understand jack of the science.

For sure, the initial data sent from China early in January to everyone was faulty and the Migal Galilee people first responded to this. So they may be the first to have the right sequence.

The sequence when remapped was found in-congruent with the Chinese data, and quite a lot of people across the world were angry, but the chinese said 'ho-hum, technical error' or something like it.

I don't know about the institute's current progress. Now this gal in Hyderabad's sent her findings to everyone in the world.
