#3 Well a biohazard level three is not the type of facility that you would use to study especially dangerous pathogens
So this is a yawner to me
Now if the labs are level four then you have some really nasty stuff in the cooler

If the purpose was to keep the Soviet scientists gainfully enough employed that they wouldn’t sell their services — and work product — to the highest evil bidder, then shutting down the labs would be counterproductive.

#11 I was the project manager of a project to build a research laboratory at the old Letterman Army Hospital in SFO
We were told that labs had to handle the most dangerous pathogens in the world and the project needed to be way in excess of the old Biohazard V classification
Very scary especially considering that this thing was in the middle of a large city
