#2 If a pilot feels that the aircraft is unsafe in one way or another, he/she has the discretion to scrub the flight until the problem is rectified.

Pretty standard procedure and not so 'Scary', although Skid does note what could be considered concerning.

#3 Brand-new aircraft and fastidious maintenance tradition by the Marine Corps make a flat tire suspicious. Most obviously, it removes the redundancy factor the USSS uses to deter anyone knowing what aircraft POTUS uses until the last moment.
