Russia cares about the security of Russia. I wonder if the reason we have such a hard time believing the Rus mean what they say is because our leaders are such bullshitters and bloviators and no one actually means any of it.

Pity we could not have spent $800 million dollars on diplomacy to keep this mess from jumping off in the first place. But where is the graft in that?
