#1 Range, and how long to recharge, please?

#2 ^ Let's just say that thanks to it's load capacity, the electric F-150 is capable of carrying enough batteries to go around the block twice. And if you recharge it overnight while you sleep, does it really matter how long it takes?

#3 Last Sept. I bought an F-150 Powerboost. This is a hybrid that will recharge it's own batteries with a 3.5L twin turbo. Outrageously fast and full of torque. The batteries boost the MPG to 24 with an effective range greater than 600 miles if you fill up the 30 gal tank. Love the darn ting....

#4 I put a hundred bucks down for a reservation when they first opened it up. I was working full time then. Retired now. Not sure I really a new anything now.

#5 Absolute best retirement advice I have to offer: Make sure you have a reliable vehicle and good insurance.

#6 /\ Excellent advice. My biggest personal challenge was ending the conflict over 'wants and needs.' Needs eventually saved the day, but it was an epic struggle.

#7 I'm still in "why did I even want this?" mode...

#8 #3 -The hybrid makes sense. I've got a '20 Ecoboost Crew cab as the hybrids weren't available. Twin turbos w/ the 10 speed tranny make it every bit as fast as my old 5.4L V8

#9 This has nothing to do with efficiency, economy or state-of-the-art. It is about a truck...

#10 I bought an F-150 in 2004. Still have it. No problems, love it. So much so I bought a F-150 Raptor in 2018. I love it too but I wouldn’t buy another Raptor. It’s sucks for towing vs. other models. 5000 lbs towing or 8k with weight distribution hitch.

I can’t help but wonder how far you would get towing a 10k trailer with this electric truck. Hills and heavy loads eat up batteries like crazy. A normal drive from San Diego to say Dallas or Seattle could be done in 2 days (9-10 hour drive days). I bet it would take 2 weeks for this electric truck to do it with a trailer.
