No new drilling will occur while this war continues. Too much risk for project to be targeted by cruise missiles. If anything, projects to improve the yield of existing wells might go forward.

Nothing happened. Ukranian gas production is 1/4 the rosy projections for 2020. The offshore oil rigs (guessing from before 2013) have been attacked or seized by the Russians.

Pride? I've read they lost more soldiers in a year than the US lost in 10 years in Vietnam. That has to hurt a nation that already has demographic issues.
