#3 The show was as mediocre as ever. But Musk's monologue was a brilliant undercutting of a lot of attacks on him by regulators aligned with the other oligarchs who want to catch up in space etc. and by the wokerati.

A snippet of trivia about Errol Musk, Elon's father:

“I refuse to live [in the U.S.]. I tried it, and came back home,” even though he says his home country has more “violent crime.”

Errol shot and killed three home invaders in Pretoria years ago. Pleading 'self defense' he was acquitted of manslaughter charges.
