#1 100 F-35s will cost way more than the $1.4B in the article. Depending on the version that they want to buy the cost per plane is about $50-80 M each. After that is the cost of O&M which is perhaps $2-5M per year per plane.

Anyway we shouldn't sell them any for lots of reasons.
