#1 As a young kid growing up in Ohio in the 60's, the Beach Boys were my favorites. The first concert I ever saw. Embodied how I thought California must be. Lots of beach fun, good music and pretty girls. Re-enforced by Annette and Frankie movies.
My impression of CA - having lived there for 14 years and with the most recent events has changed. The time of innocence is long past.. RIP Brian
