#11 There is a robust tradition of co-ed cheerleading squads at the high school and college levels. Having big, strong guys allows for far more challenging gymnastics and pyramid formation, and a lot less s3xy dancing. See this for a recent example.

I can’t imagine that little, effeminate guys will be the standard for long, not with so many experienced male cheerleaders around who will make the girls on the squads much happier.
