#5 the wa state legislators passed a bill that became effective first of this month to add $75 a year to car tabs of hybrid and all electric cars. but money can only be used for building out charging stations. so my non plug in camry gets no benefit.
in 6 years that fee is to go to general road maintenance fund but i am not betting on it.

#6 The real bitch is when the wild fires are raging, electrical power has been shut off, the batteries have been run down and their homes are surrounded by choking smoke and towering flames, the owners of electric cars will have to use good old foot power to get the hell outta there.
