#3 Sorry Muhammed, but on a globe any direction faces Mecca. The Koran prescribes directing prayer on the shortest path, because Muhammed believed that the earth was flat. Muslims are required to believe that Alexander the Great travelled to the spot where the Sun sets and found people living in a swamp.
