#2 Nice thought but that isn’t in the cards. They have shot down 14 Reapers so far and motivated two destroyers to RTB before going Winchester. If the US brought naval assets to bear necessary to create serious pain it would simply provide an amalgamated target.

#8 Unfortunately, we don't seem to have the kind of intel on the Houthis that the IDF has on Hezbollah for example.

As noted by others, we also lack the will to use the number and type of bombs that are needed to take the Houthis out.
