#1 Sharpton....I think what bothers me

... is a white, conservative, radio guy making over $120m per year.

#2 Hey, Sharpton.......

When NPR/PBS/CPB have been completely defunded, and the licenses of all their stations have been sold to the private sector, then there will literally be no outlets for your point of view outside of a handful of stations privately funded by rich leftists.

Ponder why that is.

It fits your crappy little narrative to call Rush a racist. 99% of intelligent adults disagree. That's why Rush is on a lot of radio stations making money.

#3 the government has a right to protect free speech but they also have an obligation to hold standards where American people are not subjected to this

Wrong, Al. The government has an obligation to protect free speech. See the First Amendment. While there are limits to free speech ("you can't yell 'Fire!' in a crowded theater" (that is not on fire)), the government cannot "enforce standards" to suppress speech that you don't like.

Besides, how would Al like it if the conservatives took over and decided that they didn't like his brand of hate?

#4 And which House committee has oversight of the FCC?

#5 Sorry Al, charges of racism is getting pretty weak - especially when it comes form the Congressional Black Caucus - who's very name is racist.

The next time a real case of racism is ignored - you can thanks Al and the CBC.

#6 House Energy and Commerce. Conservative Joe Barton, R-TX, wants to be the new chairman, with a pretty fierce anti-liberal agenda. But he is being challenged by Rep. Fred Upton, RINO-MI, who wants to be loved by the liberal media.

Barton's agenda includes blocking the FCC from trying to regulate the Internet, trying to revoke ancient taxes placed on communications, impose strict privacy laws against corporations like Google and other personal information aggragators and retailers. He is firmly against net neutrality.

He is also eying hearings on healthcare and environmental policy. As such, he is going to tear apart every Frankenstein Henry Waxman stitched together.

#8 And who gave you Mr. Sharpton the right, status, or ability to tell me what is or is not considered acceptable you presumptuous ass.

Or are you perhaps suggesting de-regulating the airwaves, hmm? See how even such simple things can be seen from multi perspectives.

#9 "they also have an obligation to hold standards where American people are not subjected to this..."

--by that flawed logic I ought to be able to shutdown prime time t.v. from running such shows like Dancing w/the Whores Stars and American Idiot Idol because they "subject" me...

#11 Maybe you need the gummint to "protect" you from Rush, Al, but the adults in this country know how to turn the dial if they don't want to listen.

Whiny-assed weenie. >:-(

#12 the government has a right to protect free speech but they also have an obligation to hold standards where American people are not subjected to this . . .>

Is this the same Al Sharpton that "subjected" the American people to the Tawana Brawley hoax back in 1987?
