In October of 2013, HHS quietly inserted language that would delay the taxation on self-administered plans. At the time people howled that the exclusive beneficiaries were the unions with their coveted Taft-Hartley plans. Union thug Richard Trumka went out of his way to deflect attention and encouraged the hordes to back Obama and the ACA. Gruber makes it clear now that the primary target of their smoke screen was the rank and file union rubes. And it’s a safe bet Mr. Trumka was in on the ruse from the get go. Boy howdy, this is starting to get very interesting.
