#4 Seems to me, in over-policed areas, rather than premature birthulation, little Davontious would be too shy to come out.

She found that 'birthing people' - both black and white - in heavily-policed areas had a significantly raised chance of preterm birth

I wouldn't trust stats from anyone using the phrase 'birthing people'. Could it be that "areas of high police contact" are run-down, crime-ridden neighborhoods where people don't spend a lot of time or money on healthcare?
