#2 I remember filling out a crime report once. With my background as a newspaper reporter, (I read a lot of police reports while putting together the paper's blotter column) I automatically wrote "individuals" when referring to the perps. The guy taking my statement laughed and called some of the other guys in the cop shoppe over to share the fun.
