#1 Erdogan is himself viewed with some suspicion by the armed forces which, as in Pakistan, have traditionally played a key role in politics. The generals are wary of his roots in political Islam though his policies are strongly pro-Western.

As well they should be. Watch your back, Perv. Er'dogman's blind ambition doesn't make for a good bed partner. Once your in bed with him, don't expect to get much sleep.
