#1 For many Europeans since Sept. 11, mosques are perceived - unlike churches or synagogues - as caldrons of radicalism instead of places of worship.
Not by nearly enough of them though.

#3 FWIW, maybe I've found yet another facet of my own naivetÃ©, but it has finally dawned on me that some cultures just canât really mix. I had always been, despite some Rantings, a live and let live kind oâ guy. âCourse, when they come after you â¦

I think now the Muslim Arab culture and Western cultures arenât mutually tolerable. Sure, there can be cursory contact for commerce, and perhaps information, but not integration. And youâll have some examples of individuals getting along with individuals, and thatâs cool, but not integrated cultures.

#4 Hyper - like the way that oil and water don't mix except in salad dressing and you have to shake everything up just before pouring. I think I just ruined my own analogy.
