#1 Army Gen. John Abizaid, commander of U.S. Central Command, said most of the insurgents in the country are Iraqis, but âthe percentage of foreign fighters over the past several months seems to have increased.â

He said this is because fewer Iraqis have decided to resort to violence.

The good general has definitively answered my question about the statistics of the situation. I wonder if he reads Rantburg? ;-)
