#1 I might suggest that we have given "fair warning" to China, Japan, Russia, Skor, and probably Nkor that a nuclear detonation of any kind would result in an "immediate" response by the US. In other words, by conducting a nuclear test, Nkor will be declaring war. The clock is now ticking. We have told China that it has "until the nuclear test" to get Nkor to stop. We have probably suggested that, if necessary, China invade Nkor and regime change, which would not be seen as a hostile act or threatening to Skor, and that no Skor or US forces would open fire on Chinese forces north of the DMZ, using only defensive fires to neutralize the massed artillery facing Seoul.

#3 Yep Frank. It's the end of dancing on the fantails era. I don't expect much to happen other than heightened Japaneese defense spending and perhaps a Chinee reapraisal of their position in the mess.

#4 Chinese hardliners may WANT a nuclear NK. A nuclear NK is the one thing that would make Japan literally "go nuclear." Then the chinese hardliners would have their classic "external threat" to rally the great unwashed.

China needs room to grow. And China's hardliners may be playing 3D Vulcan chess to achieve it.

#7 The Chicoms control NK's nukes and Armed Forces - the only reason for the Norkies to use their nukes will be to PC wipe out the starving NK civilians ole' Kimmie and Communism can't afford to feed anyways. In any case, once China commits its conventional forces to war I doubt it will stop at only North Korea a long protractive conventional war, or even a LIMITED NUKE WAR, helps the Commie Clintons and their cabal militarize and Socialize America ala Martial Law, war mobilization, .....etc. Remember, CLINTONISM > "FASCISM" = DE-REGULATED/COMPETITIVE COMMUNISM-SOCIALISM; "WAR" > STILL ECONOMICS AND POLITICS BY OTHER MEANS!
