All this is about is giving France and Germany what they want. It has nothing to do with making Iran give up enrichment and a weapons program. #4 The French and other EU anti Semites are very happy to Israel's options limited by a nuked up Iran. Oil is supreme for the Euros. They will run over their grandmother to secure Arab/Muslim oil. Meanwhile the ChiComs are signing long term oil supply contracts with Iran and Venezuela. 60$-80$/barrel crude may not be so fungible after all.

#10 Jackal, of course, you are right about Farsi in Iran. Their destruction was assumed. I was referring to the rest of the Islamic countries. Once a nuke or two goes off here, Wretchard's Third Conjecture comes into play. Dealing forcefully with Iran now might avoid that, - "Pour le encoureger les autres."
