#1 The battle of Mog. I think less than 20 Americans were killed and the Somali wounded overflowed every hospital in the city. Who knows how many dead.

The Malaysians came out looking like asses for refusing to help with their armor.

The Saudi's actually helped by sticking their necks out to condem the Somali rioters for abusing the bodies of the dead as Un-Islamic.

#2 IIRC 18 deads and an undred of so wounded (almost all involved), versus at least 500 somalis.

The original 30-parts article, great read, made me buy the book; for thoses who can read french, read this pdf for an engagement of french troops (mix of professionals and volunteer draftees) in somalia at about the same time, much less spectacular, but pretty one-sided too.
