This would be a most welcome start in the vital process of eliminating all lobbying from the political process.

If a corporation wants certain legislation passed, it asks its employees to vote for it and tell their friends about it, too. Secret ballots prevent any reprisals against the workers. Lobbyists, and by extension, the campaign funding they disburse represent some of the most toxic political poison there is.

I agree, Steele comes across as a sincere and likeable individual. All of which probably damns him from the very start.
