#3 How about limiting issuance of Haz-Mat transportation licenses only to native born American citizens? That would weed out a significant percentage of the terrorist perps in a heartbeat.

#6 Oh come now. Let's face it: If a big bomb goes down, the Repubs in general (and Bush in particular) will be blamed. The Dems need this to reaffirm their self worth (as disgusting as that may seem). The Dems think terror will wither and die a slow death and be unintrusive provided they are in control of the WH and both Houses of Congress.

#10 I work in the trucking industry. There is a bazillion muzzies driving trucks. It will soon be like the cab industry. So far, I have never seen even one muzzie with a hazmat endorsement. Which I don't understand at all. It takes nothing to get that. Its just a paper test. This might be the next big worry. NHTSA would do well to follow Zensters' advise.

I don't know, gorb. Methinks these aren't the brightest bulbs in the pack or the sharpest knives in the drawer. The 9/11 goon's thingy about only learnin' to fly after takeoff was spread far and wide in the media. Anyone who does something analogous to that at a trucking school is an idiot (even if it were an 80 year old Irish grandma asking it). But, especially after last week's wake-up call with the imams "flying while Muslim", I'm beginning to think the average Joe out there "gets it", even if you can't say it aloud because of P.C. Much like the idiot in the '93 WTC bombing, who went back to the truck rental company to get his deposit back (said it was stolen, when it was still a smokin' crater in the parking deck). NOT very bright!

I was one of the first to say it and I'll cheerfully proclaim it here as well. A signal hallmark of Islam is that they will always overreach themselves. This may well prove to be the one thing that saves the Western world from itself.
