Oh yeah, I forgot for minute, Basrah is bought and paid for by Iranian interests (controlled by the JAM), and the Kurds are the wholly against Shi'a power. Thus making the growing power of the Sunni tribes in the West the true wild card. Two fold as to why we're backing the "Anbar Awakening" so heavy: 1) to kill and torture Al Qaida, and 2) to have a solid stake in the government.
