Media Forgets Obama's Nominee to Justice Dept. Was a Terrorist's Lawyer

He seems to be a good Attorney. It's just possible he took the Lindh job in order to head off any accusations of Mr. Lindh being railroaded and not being accorded competant council.

#2 I'll give Mr. West the benefit of the doubt.

And I believe that in our legal system, the most odious person is entitled to a proper defense at trial. That means good defense council, and if that is what Mr. West does, then good for him.

#3 I want to know more about him before I make a judgment as to his suitability as an assistant AG. We need some in depth digging, something that the Congress cannot or will not do.

#4 Do you really believe that Mr West, who worked for the commie Ron Dellums and also defended the AT&T whistle blower who blew the op that the NSA was monitoring foreign telephone calls to terrorist suspects, is really Mr Standup Guy and not a highly partisan extreme leftist and apologist for black racism in the mold of attorney general Eric Holder? You do realize Mr West will have jurisdiction over all noncriminal federal cases? Who to investigate and prosecute. What to sweep under the rug. There's going to a lot of favors to pay off the $65 million.

Keep your eye off the ball and we'll have more of the stuff like the Obama administration's MALDEF lawyer in the Justice Dept going after Sheriff Arpaio for handing over illegal aliens, as is the law and trained by Immigrations and Customs, for deportation.
