#1 Actually, I get hung up on the "random and cyclical" phrase but otherwise agree with him. I can't wrap my brain around random cycles (if it is cyclic it is not random) as it seems oxymoronic, but I know what he meant.

#2 Its been my experience in life that Justice is what's to your own advantage. When a child doesnt get what he wants he says, "Its NOT FAIR!". If he DID get what he wanted he could give a flip for what is fair or not, he GOT what he wanted. That is BASIC Human Nature. You get what you want, when you want it and you get some gravy on it too, as long as you are there.

And screw Brussels and all the suits in Massachusetts. Buy a Green Coffin from Al Gore and get in it.

#3 Re: 'random and cyclical' Plimer is correctly noting that there are both cyclical forces that affect climate and also random, non-recurring ones.
