#1 The more difficult it becomes to feed them, the more selective the government will become on which mouths are left alive to be fed.

This is looking like a bad winter coming and harvests are down around the globe. Not to mention the "hundreds of thousands" of spring lambs that have died in New Zealand after extremely bad late blizzards.

This is going to be one tough winter, folks.
