#2 Duh... A fundamentalist outlook is impervious to intellectual intervention / analysis. Anyone who wises up is no longer a fundamentalist, but an apostate, as far as the fundawhackos are concerned.

#5 Personally, I think the next step should be a series of "News of Islam" radio stations.

The internet postings of the apostates and scholars are good but the only audience is the small number of internet capable and curious in the Islamic world.

The number who get radio reception is about two orders of magnitude higher. This, however, is a very labor intensive task as it will require far more content and in many languages. We are probably at least 5 years away from having the cumulative talent to do this.

Hopefully, when that time comes, a financial angel will appear.
