#1 Civilians, huh? Isn't that kind of difficult to determine when your enemy doesn't wear uniforms? Maybe all these "civilians" would like it better if we left them to the tender mercies of the Taliban.

#3 Dozens of women were also among the protesters, a rare occurrence in a country where women are largely banned from public life. Using loudspeakers, some of the women chanted How did the reporter know there were WOMEN under those Burga Body Bags? Could have been men, aliens, or Daleks for all they could see.

#4 Just one more example that this is an untenable situation and one we should get out of as quickly as possible. Let them figure their own problems out. I'm sure the Talibs would love to take care of some darling young boys.

#5 Definitely situational ethics at work here. The Talibunz kills a few thousand civilians, no problem. The US get less than a dozen, big problem.

Karzai needs to go. I see a heart attack in his future, a 9mm one.
