1) Moscow will know the maintenance codes to shutdown that link. Probably a toggle between 'track', 'track & jam', 'track, jam, upload', 'track, upload', etc.
2) The FO link will likely have a active heartbeat/health check protocol mode as well as a tracking coordinate data stream.

So the unit can be rendered ineffective remotely for strategic entry into a defended region, or will act as a beacon for the associated command center.

Coolest thing is they got Iran to pay for the Trojan horse. See how well it worked for Saddam...
