#3 The Kurds, once known as the Medes, are referenced in the Christian bible in several places and are part of several major Christian related events, past and future, spanning several millinea.

The 3 Magi who came to honor the birth of Christ, also referred to as the wise men were Medes/Kurds. They were from the Magian society of the Medes.

Both Old Testament prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah and the new testament Apostle John in the book of Revelations foretell that the Kurds will destroy the restored city of Babylon South of Baghdad in Iraq, on the Euphrates with the help of many nations, in one day.

Isaiah 13:17
See, I will stir up against them the Medes, who do not care for silver and have no delight in gold.

Those who see you stare at you, they ponder your fate: "Is this the man who shook the earth and made kingdoms tremble, the man who made the world a wilderness, who overthrew its cities and would not let his captives go home?"

Revelations 18:21

It will not be inhabitable even for grazing of livestock from that point on afterwards. Why? Because it is referred to as the seat of Satan in Christian scripture, its destruction will be total and complete, its land uninhabitable.

That is the greatest military mission yet to be carried out by the Kurds.

#7 Iraqi government did not assist the Kurds in retaking Sengal. Kurdish President Barzani has said that the Kurds will not be responsible for liberating Mosul, Iraq from ISIS.
