#5 Hopefully, our new chain of command will not allow threats within range of the .50 cals. I'm ok with engaging as soon as the Fire Controlman determines the CIWS or the 5" deck gun can reach them.

But that is just me.

Blow the lead boat into fish chum, and then tell the Iranians that anything even remotely resembling a military response anywhere on the planet will be met with overwhelming force.
