#1 It would be pretty difficult for a 'transgender' person to serve sereptitiously.

An example of the sheer dishonesty of the reporting on the subject, blurring the distinction between transgender and gay.

#2 Any bets on the final form being something like "Trans-gendered can serve, but sex change operation is not included in medical benefits package"?

#3 ...nah, like the GI Bill, they can get them when they get out from the VA, and their waiting lists.

#4  #2g(r)omgoru "Trans-gendered can serve, but sex change operation is not included in medical benefits package"?

I've got a hunch these enlistments would go down without these medical benefits.

#6 ..the missing ones? Or the ones listing bonuses for administrators?

#7 Knowing the VA they may even bring back bonuses bounties for scrotums scalps.

#8 The problem is they require continual medical attention and meds. If they do serve, they should be instantly listed as "Non Deployable" like people with chronic high blood pressure. It is hard enough to get enough beans and bullets to a combat zone, let alone necessary medication.

#9 Then can I sue for being discharged for developing pulmonary sarcoidosis?

#10 Paraplegics can sue because the F-35 isn't ADA compliant? After all, they are patriotic and want to be jet fighter aces too.
