#1 They’d see a state that drives much of the U.S. economy, with diverse and dynamic people leading the way into America’s future.

Maybe twenty years ago - when Silicon Valley were innovators.

#2 California has many beautiful places but they tend to elect some totally unhinged radical politicians. It's a shame these politicos have tried to turn it into a 3rd world sh-thole.
