#2 I usually carry a Glock G30s or Sig 220, I simply feel better with a .45. On some occasions I'll carry a Kahr PM9 when concealment is a problem. At home or in my vehicles I use service-size .45's.

#3 Hear what you're saying g(r)om, but IMHO the best caliber is one that the shooter can accurately use with some degree of precision.

#4 I just don't feel comfortable carrying anything less than a .45. Mainly because I like confrontations to be very short.

#5 I love my .45, but it's too expensive to feed. So my EDC is a Springfield XDM 3.8" in 9mm. My wife has a Ruger LC9s in 9mm. And I'm eagerly awaiting Seismic Ammo's new 185gr 9mm ammo.
