#11 First, Dron66046 is right and the first cases will be the black community and the law will either be inequally enforced or discarded.

Second, there is no way this can survive the eventual trip to the Supreme Court which will likely open Massachusetts up to lots of lawsuits.

The politician in question never intended the bill to be passed, he just wanted to shut up an insistent constituent.
