#1 after averaging about 1900 deaths per day from 7-11 April, the death on April fell to about 1500 deaths

similarly, the new cases had averaged about 30k from 2 April to 11 April but on 12 April they fell to about 27k

per the Worldometer website a few minutes ago

Yeah, it's a skyrocket, all right, but it reached it apex April 4, and has been falling since then. With a couple of updrafts.

#8 We're all going to be exposed. That was never in question. Flattening the curve was always only intended to spread things out enough to avoid overwhelming medical services, not to change the area under the curve (total number who get it).
