There is a sex offender registry - as a sub teacher I had to provide prospective employers with a letter from the police stating I'm not one.

Why do courts treat them so leniently? Lock em up and throw away the key. What gives?

My cousin-in-law works as a Sgt. in the Crimes Against Children department. He has stated multiple times that these are the hardest to get prosecuted. The DAs don't want to bring it to court as they lose. A lot.

He just did a case where they had the guy nailed. Photo evidence and the daughter's testimony of him raping her for six years. The jury gave a "Not Guilty" verdict because they didn't want to send the guy away for so long. (25-life)

The public is the problem. They just don't care for the most part. BLM, oh yeah that is important to the sheep. Not kid's safety.
